Let's Train Heroine - Chapter 343
Chapter 343: Heroine’s Daughter, Bing I
Bing sniffed the air, her dragon snout twitching as the tantalizing aroma of roasted meat wafted through the Verdant Labyrinth. Her massive green-and-gold dragon form barely fit in the narrow winding paths, but hunger cared not for logistics. She licked her lips, her stomach rumbling loud enough to shake the vines clinging to the walls.
“Food… must… find… food,” she grumbled, her voice a deep rumble that scared off a flock of glowing butterfly creatures. “I don’t care if it’s enchanted, cursed, or alive—I need to EAT.”
After Maris hatch Bing again, her personality changed, and she becomes foddie.
A Suspiciously Placed Buffet
As she lumbered through the maze, stomping over roots and occasionally accidentally demolishing walls with her tail, Bing spotted a clearing ahead. There, under the light of a glowing crystal tree, was the most magnificent spread of food she’d ever seen. Roasted boar, piles of exotic fruits, bread dripping with golden honey, and a cauldron of bubbling stew.
Bing’s eyes sparkled like twin moons. “It’s like the labyrinth wants me to win this trial!”
But as she stepped closer, the ground trembled, and vines slithered up to form a wall of writhing greenery. A face formed in the vines, its voice echoing ominously.
“TO CLAIM THIS FEAST, YOU MUST PASS MY TEST!”
Bing narrowed her eyes, her stomach growling louder than the vines’ theatrics. “Listen, Salad Face, you can either let me through, or I’ll frost you with dragon ice and make vine soup. Your choice.”
The vine creature hesitated, then cleared its throat. “Uh, fine. But answer me this riddle first: What has roots as nobody sees, is taller than trees, up, up it goes, and yet it never grows?”
Bing blinked. “Seriously? That’s your challenge? A kindergarten riddle?” She raised a claw and slashed through the vines, the “guardian” disintegrating into harmless green tendrils. “The answer’s a mountain, by the way. Now move, I’m starving.”
Triumphant, Bing strutted into the clearing and began devouring the feast with gusto. A boar leg disappeared in one bite, the cauldron of stew was tipped into her maw like a mug of ale, and she ate the fruit so fast the juice splattered everywhere.
But as she swallowed the last bite of honey-soaked bread, her stomach felt… odd. She looked down and realized her belly was glowing.
“Oh no,” she groaned, belching a tiny puff of sparkly smoke. “This better not be one of those ‘food that turns into traps’ things.”
The feast dissolved into shimmering mist, and Bing’s stomach growled louder than ever. She roared in frustration, the sound echoing through the labyrinth. “WHO MAKES FAKE FOOD? That’s just evil!”
Determined, Bing stomped deeper into the labyrinth. She sniffed the air again, catching a faint whiff of something salty and rich. Following her nose, she eventually stumbled upon a bubbling underground stream. Swimming in it were plump, glowing fish, their scales shimmering like liquid gold.
“Finally, something real!” Bing exclaimed, diving into the stream with the grace of a boulder. Her massive dragon claws sent water splashing everywhere as she attempted to catch the slippery fish.
After several comical attempts—including one where she accidentally swallowed a mouthful of water and spat it out like a fountain—Bing finally caught a fish. Triumphantly, she roasted it with a tiny burst of flame and popped it into her mouth.
“Mmm, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside,” she said, smacking her lips. “I could eat a hundred of these!”
The fish, however, seemed to have other ideas. The remaining ones began glowing even brighter, and suddenly, the water rose up in a spiraling wave, carrying Bing out of the stream and depositing her unceremoniously back on the ground.
“Rude,” Bing muttered, shaking water off her scales like a wet dog.
Just as she was about to give up and try chewing on a tree (even if it wasn’t her usual diet), a small, furry creature with a single horn on its head peeked out from behind a bush. It held what looked like a glowing fruit.
Bing tilted her head. “What are you? Lunch or… lunch delivery?”
The creature squeaked and tossed the fruit at her before scampering off. Bing caught it in her claw, sniffing it suspiciously. “If this is another trick, I’m turning this labyrinth into a barbecue pit.”
She took a cautious bite. The fruit was sweet and tangy, and as she swallowed, she felt a surge of energy course through her.
“Whoa! That’s the good stuff!” Bing exclaimed, her scales shimmering brighter. “Hey, come back here, furry thing! Got more of these?”
The creature reappeared, this time carrying a basket of the glowing fruits. Bing’s eyes lit up. “You’re my new best friend.”
What started as one furry creature soon became a small army. Each carried baskets of fruits, nuts, and other edible treasures, laying them at Bing’s feet like offerings to a queen.
Bing basked in the attention. “That’s right, worship me with snacks! Keep it coming!”
The labyrinth, it seemed, had a sense of humor. The vines above twisted into a face once more, laughing softly. “You may have found food, dragon, but can you handle what comes next?”

Bing arched a brow. “If it’s more food, bring it on. If it’s not, well…” She opened her mouth, revealing a flicker of dragon ice. “Your call.”
The vines retreated, and the furry creatures chittered nervously. Bing shrugged, popping another glowing fruit into her mouth. “Eh, I’ll deal with it later. For now, snack time!”
As Bing lounged in her makeshift banquet, her belly full and her horde of furry creatures tending to her every culinary whim, she couldn’t help but think, Maybe this labyrinth isn’t so bad after all.
Unbeknownst to her, the trial had only just begun. The Elder watched from afar, chuckling. “That one will be an interesting challenge to handle. She’s already befriended the local wildlife.”
Aurelia smirked. “That’s Bing for you. But don’t let her fool you—she’s more than just a hungry dragon. You’ll see.”
The Elder nodded. “I look forward to it.”
