Chapter 344: Heroine’s Daughter, Bing II
The moment Bing heard the ground tremble, she knew her cozy little feast had come to an end. The furry critters, who had been loyally offering her fruits and nuts, scurried away in terror. Bing’s stomach churned, not from the danger ahead, but from the annoyance of being interrupted mid-snack.
“Who dares ruin my post-snack nap?” Bing muttered, stretching her wings in her full dragon form. She towered over the labyrinth clearing, her emerald-green scales glinting in the dappled light. Her golden horns curved majestically, and frost formed around her massive claws.
The answer came in the form of a massive stone creature stomping into view. It was 20 feet tall, made entirely of moss-covered boulders, with glowing red eyes that screamed “bad temper.” Behind it, a second creature slithered into view, composed entirely of thorny vines that coiled and twisted like angry snakes.
Bing blinked. “Oh great, it’s a tag team.”
Just as she said that, a third figure emerged—a gleaming humanoid figure of glowing crystal, emitting beams of light that hurt her dragon eyes.
“You have violated the sacred laws of the Verdant Labyrinth,” the stone guardian bellowed. “Prepare to face judgment!”
Bing snorted, releasing a puff of icy air. “Sacred laws? I was just snacking! You guys need to chill out.”
Without waiting for a reply, Bing unleashed an icy roar that froze the ground beneath her. Frost raced toward the three guardians, encasing their feet in solid ice.
“Ha! That’ll keep you in place,” she said smugly.
The stone guardian shattered the ice with a single stomp. The vine guardian followed by sending a barrage of thorny whips toward Bing’s massive frame. She batted them away with her tail, only to wince as the crystal guardian shot a concentrated beam of light at her chest.
“Hey! Watch it!” Bing roared, stepping back and swiping at the stone guardian with her claws. The attack left scratches but didn’t do much damage.
“Okay, so claws and frost aren’t cutting it,” Bing muttered, flapping her wings to dodge another beam of light. The vine guardian lashed at her again, catching her tail and pulling her off balance.
She crashed to the ground, the impact shaking the entire labyrinth.
“Alright, Plan B,” she grumbled, shifting into her half-dragon, half-human form.
In this form, Bing stood tall as a humanoid figure with shimmering green-and-gold scales, sharp claws, and a tail that whipped behind her. Her icy blue eyes glowed with power as she flexed her clawed hands.
“Let’s see how you like this version of me,” she said with a grin, darting forward with incredible speed.
She aimed her icy claws at the vine guardian first, slashing through its thorny tendrils. Each strike froze the vines solid, causing them to crack and fall apart.
“Ha! Looks like someone’s got frostbite!” Bing quipped.
The stone guardian swung a massive fist at her, but this time she was ready. She ducked under the attack and retaliated with a blast of frost directly to its chest. Cracks formed along the surface of the stone, and the guardian let out a low growl.
The crystal guardian tried to blind her with another light beam, but Bing shielded her eyes with one wing and launched a barrage of icicles at the glowing figure. The icicles struck true, leaving small cracks in its otherwise smooth surface.
“This form is way more effective,” Bing said, dodging another attack. “I should’ve started with this!”
But the guardians weren’t going down without a fight. The vine guardian regenerated its tendrils, attacking with twice the ferocity. The stone guardian’s cracks began to seal themselves as it absorbed energy from the ground. The crystal guardian, despite its cracks, intensified its light beams, forcing Bing to constantly move.
“Okay, maybe not effective enough,” Bing muttered, wiping sweat—or was it frost?—off her brow. “Time for Plan C.”
Bing shifted into her fully human form—a slender, athletic woman with green hair streaked with gold and piercing icy blue eyes. While she lacked the raw strength and size of her dragon forms, this form allowed her to focus her elemental powers with pinpoint accuracy.
The guardians hesitated for a moment, as if confused by her smaller, more vulnerable appearance. Bing smirked. “What’s the matter? Don’t recognize me without my scales?”
She raised her hand, and an intricate circle of frost formed in the air. “Let’s see how you handle this!”
With a snap of her fingers, jagged ice spikes erupted from the ground, targeting each guardian’s weak points. The vine guardian’s tendrils froze solid, snapping off like brittle twigs. The stone guardian stumbled as ice enveloped its legs, making it harder to move. The crystal guardian’s light beams dimmed as frost crept across its surface.
“Bullseye,” Bing said, flipping her hair dramatically.
The vine guardian made one last attempt to lash out, but Bing dodged gracefully, leaping into the air and landing on its back. She placed her hand on its core, channeling her icy energy directly into the creature.
“Say goodnight, leafy,” she said as the guardian froze solid and shattered into a million pieces.

The stone guardian roared in defiance, but Bing wasn’t done. She conjured a massive ice hammer and swung it with all her might, smashing through the creature’s chest. It crumbled into a pile of rubble.
Finally, the crystal guardian, weakened by the frost covering its body, tried to retreat. Bing wasn’t having it. She formed a spear of ice and hurled it with deadly precision, striking the guardian’s core. The glowing figure shattered into shards of light and frost.
Bing stood amidst the frozen and shattered remains of the guardians, catching her breath. Her furry followers cautiously emerged from the bushes, cheering for her victory. One of them offered her a glowing fruit as a reward.
“Don’t mind if I do,” Bing said, taking the fruit and biting into it with relish. “Nothing works up an appetite like smashing snack guardians.”

High above the labyrinth, Aurelia and the Elder of the Verdant Labyrinth watched the battle unfold through a shimmering portal.
The Elder stroked his beard, his expression a mix of awe and confusion. “She’s… quite the character. Her ability to shift forms so seamlessly and use her ice powers with such precision is impressive. And yet…”
“She’s a complete goofball?” Aurelia finished with a chuckle.
The Elder nodded. “Exactly. But I must admit, she’s unlike any challenger I’ve seen before. And you said that she is immortal right? If she died, she will turn into egg and could be hatch her own or someone could do it.”
“Yes. She isn’t original from my Saint’s Region but came from outside. From where? I don’t know but she is powerful, and the way, she can control ice is far superior to anything.”
