“Aunt Li, what brought you here today? Come in first.” Lu Jueyu said, stepping aside to let her in.

Aunt Li went in and said, “Jueyu ah, Aunt Li is here to pay for your medicine. After taking your medicine, Shitou’s fever finally subsided.”

After hearing her words, Lu Jueyu said, “Aunt Li, you don’t have to pay me. After all, we are neighbors, so there is no need to be so polite.”

When Aunt Li heard Lu Jueyu’s words, she remembered the gossip about her a few days ago. Villagers said that when they saw Li Chenmo carrying her to find a doctor, she almost couldn’t make it. Fortunately, her life was blessed and she could recover.

Aunt Li thought she was kind, but Lu Jueyu had her own motives for doing this.
