“Well, I have one jar, but my best friend has several jars at her home. If you want, I can ask if she is willing to sell them,” Liu Hua said with a grin.

“Enough with the flattery. Just tell me what you want,” he said with a snort.

After thinking for a moment, Liu Hua said, “Doctor Xie, I haven’t decided yet. How about you promise me three things?”

Doctor Xie scoffed at this and replied, “Do you take me for a fool? You want three promises just for helping me buy a few jars of ointment? Do you know how valuable my promises are?”

“If you can make her agree, I will grant you my promise—but only one,” Doctor Xie replied.

After they reached an agreement, Liu Hua supported Lin Muai as they left Doctor Xie’s house.
