He nodded and replied with a smile, “I will get them for you.”

After he left for the warehouse, Lu Jueyu placed her palm on her abdomen and smiled, “Baby, if you keep eating like this, Mom is going to turn into a pig before you even arrive.”

She gently rubbed her belly for a few moments before going to get another glass of milk. Once it warmed up, she mixed in a spoonful of spiritual herb powder and some honey.

She had a strong feeling that her baby required a lot of energy. Every time she entered her space, her morning sickness disappeared, but the moment she left, she felt drained and unwell.

After they finished breakfast, Lu Jueyu went to take a hot bath. Before leaving the space, they changed into fresh clothes and took some pickles and candied kumquats with them.

The two went to the backyard to prepare breakfast and snacks for the children. At dawn, Li Chenmo waited for the children to wake up and then went to the pig pen.

As the sun rose over the eastern horizon, the family began their usual morning routine.

At six o’clock in the morning, Liu Pan and his second brother, Liu Geng, were walking toward the farmland when they ran into Lin Muai.

Seeing her carrying her bag, Liu Pan greeted her, “Teacher Lin, are you on your way to school?”

Lin Muai nodded at them and walked away without looking back.
