At first, Lu Jueyu just wanted to distract her husband’s anger and put Su Anna in her position to teach her a lesson so that she would not dare to seduce her husband again. “Promise me, you won’t run away first.” Li Chenmo said, observing his wife’s expression.

Lu Jueyu nodded. After making sure that she would not run away again, Li Chenmo finally let go of her hand and said, “Wife, I really have nothing to do with her.”

Lu Jueyu knew that he had nothing to do with Su Anna, but her jealousy enveloped her heart and clouded her mind so she blamed everything on him. It was ridiculous and childish, but she couldn’t help it. She was angry and felt sour in her heart.

After a long silence, she finally said, “I know.”

“Then why are you angry with me and even run away?” Li Chenmo asked.

Lu Jueyu felt embarrassed for her behavior, but on second thought, it was better to discuss it with her husband than to keep everything in mind. Her mother’s words rang in her mind again. Indeed, marriage is not easy, and love cannot solve everything. She shouldn’t be like this, blaming everything on her husband.

“I’m not angry with you, I’m angry with Su Anna,” she whispered.

Li Chenmo was confused by her words and waited for her to continue.

Seeing that her husband didn’t understand her meaning, she said, “I’m jealous! I don’t like other women coming up to you and looking at you like that. I hate it! Lu Jueyu nodded and said guiltily, “Husband, I’m sorry.”

“Okay, let’s eat now, otherwise the lunch break will be over.” Li Chenmo said, pulling her to sit under the tree.

The villagers were relieved to see that they had reconciled. Although they occasionally like to watch couples quarrel, they never want lovers to truly separate. After all, in this day and age, separations were still rare and viewed as a stain on one’s reputation. So, if they can talk it out, no one wants to be separated from their spouse.

Standing on the roadside, Su Anna was stunned by the sudden change.
