Chapter 873: Big Fish
Chen Jianmin laughed loudly when he heard this. Only with Dong Li can he behave like himself.

He tied up the hares with the hemp rope he bought from home and put it in the bamboo basket. Then, he opened the bag on his waist, took out a piece of carrot, and reset the trap.

Looking at the carrots, Chen Jianmin asked, “Uncle Li, I tried using carrots before, but the traps I set couldn’t attract hares at all. Is there anything else in your bait?”

“When you set a trap, you have to check the location. You can’t put the trap in a place where people often visit. Placing it in a secluded spot near a water source will increase your chances of getting something,” Li Chenmo explained.

Hearing this, Chen Jianmin looked around and found a small hole near the trap area. Under the hole, there is a small pool of water, which may be rain or dew.
