After hearing what his mother said, Chen Jianmin looked at his mother and said, “Mother, I want to go to Doctor Xie’s house.”

“Are you feeling uncomfortable? Also, why did you bring so many things to see Doctor Xie?” Wu Yahui asked.

“Doctor Xie’s granddaughter is my deskmate. She has helped me before. So, I’m going to give her something,” Chen Jianmin explained.

Hearing a familiar voice, Li Shu raised her head and saw Chen Jianmin waving to her. She wiped the sweat from her forehead and said, “Jianmin, what brings you here? The door is unlocked, come in.”

Chen Jianmin nodded to her, opened the door and walked into the house. He put the bamboo baskets on the balcony and said, “Shushu, yesterday I caught some big fish and two hares. I brought some for you to try.”

When Li Shu saw what was in the bamboo basket, she was stunned. She thought he was joking when he said he was going to bring her some meat. Unexpectedly, he really sent it over today.

Just as she was stunned, Chen Jianmin was already squatting beside her and putting his hand into the basin.

She sat on the balcony, smelling the aroma of grilled fish, and asked, “Jianmin, did you grill the fish yourself?”

“You can keep it for tomorrow. Didn’t Xiao Heng often come to have a meal with you? You can share it with him,” Chen Jianmin said.

It took Li Shu a while to realize that Xiao Heng was Shitou. She glanced at him and memories of her time in that world came to mind. Chen Jianmin in that world also called her brother Xiao Heng, not Shitou.

It seems that even though they live in different worlds, they are still the same person.
