Martial Arts Worlds - Chapter 207
Chapter 207: Dinner for Three
The clinking of silverware filled Hunter’s household as the group of three had gotten seated down on the dining table.
They were having some mashed potatoes, juicy steak, and roasted vegetables for dinner. It was smelling great and tasting even better.
“How was the training?”
Karma asked while carefully cutting down his steak with a knife while pressing down the steak with his fork so that it wouldn’t slide.
“Good.”
Kiernan said between bites.
“Decent.”
Julian said.
Before heading over to the dinner, he hid his notebook in his temporary room. While Kiernan was suffering in the Bath of Pain, he was creating his martial arts.
It was a slow and difficult process, but he had already created alternate versions of Kiernan’s Iron Style techniques.
He was feeling slightly guilty about just copying some of Kiernan’s techniques. However, he told himself it was fine since he was changing those techniques.
He believed that he was making those techniques better.
‘Iron Smash, for example. Kiernan reels back his arm to be even with his shoulder, then slams it into one precise point on the opponent’s body.
‘My Iron Smash, on the other hand, will go further back. I reel it all the way back. It will increase the strength of my blow and cause even more damage upon impact.’
Julian was obsessing over his martial arts. He could feel that he was in the middle of creating something amazing.
“What did you learn, Kiernan?”
Karma asked.
“Body conditioning. My body is stronger now.”
Kiernan replied simply, but he wasn’t revealing just how strong his body was. He didn’t even reveal that he had advanced to Middle Stage yet.
Julian was still stuck in Low Stage, but it was obvious he hadn’t even tried to advance yet. It was dangerous while his martial soul was in such a fragile state.
He had to fix his martial soul first before continuing his advancement.
At the start of the training, his vitality was around 60. It increased to 66 after his increase to Middle Stage Martial Champion.
During Bath of Pain, his body was breaking and fixing hundreds of times. It was a painful rebirth process.
However, his vitality was now stronger than ever!
[Vitality: 102]
Vitality made his body stronger. More healthy. More resistant to damage.
‘With this, I think I can use all of my Iron Style techniques without completely breaking my bones. A few techniques might cause some bruising, but that’s perfectly fine for me.
‘I am now way stronger than ever. I think it’ll be hard even for Martial Masters to defeat me. This nationals should be a piece of cake for me.’
Kiernan was feeling extremely confident. He was also very happy. He was finally able to use Iron Style the way it was supposed to be used.
Without any restraints!

“About Gaul. I think I already know your answer, but do you want to go there?”
Karma asked.
While driving back home, Karma informed the two about Azer’s decision to send students to Gaul’s boarding school.
“What if we don’t go there?”
Julian asked while stuffing his mouth with mashed potatoes.
“You’ll change schools and go to Irio High, Kaito High or Sumino High. They’ve been spamming my phone. They know that if you two join their school, they’re guaranteed to go to nationals.”
“Hmm…”
Julian frowned and turned to Kiernan.
“What do you think about Kiernan? You-know-who is training us, so if we leave, our training would stop. I think he is a better trainer than anyone in the school.”
‘You-know-who?’
Karma frowned, but it was clear that the two wanted to keep the person secret. He didn’t know why, but it sounded like the two wanted to keep their secrets, so he didn’t pry any further.
“Give me a moment.”
Kiernan put down his fork and knife, then excused himself from the table and headed to his room.
His phone was charging on his bedside table, and it had reached a full battery.
‘Because of the contract, I can’t tell about Martial Order to Julian. He isn’t Sabbath’s official disciple yet. I don’t think he will accept him before he has fixed his martial soul.
‘Therefore, I must keep this secret, but I can contact Sabbath through that Martial Order app.’
Kiernan took his phone from the charger, opened the app, and started a private chat room with ‘Rockstar’ and started typing.
[Revenant: Problems have arisen. Our school is heading to Gaul’s boarding school. I think that will put a halt to our training]
[…]
After a short moment, a message came.
[Rockstar: Is that so? That would be troublesome. I just began training you. I don’t want to hinder your growth. Tell me more about this Gaul]
[Revenant: Our school burned to the ground. We’re heading to Gaul to train, study, etc. The coach of the martial arts club will continue my training there. He isn’t on your level, though]
[Rockstar: Do you have a phone number for this coach of yours?]
[Revenant: I do]
[Rockstar: Give it to me. I’ll give him a call. Maybe I can come with you guys to Gaul]
[Revenant: Alright]
After handing him the phone number, the conversation between the two died off.
‘Hmm, I don’t know what he is planning to do, but I hope he can come with us.’
Kiernan pocketed his phone and returned to the dining table, where Karma and Julian were discussing the last night’s fights of the World Fighting League.
“Is everything good?”
Julian asked after seeing Kiernan sit back down on the dining table and continue eating.
“I think so.”
Kiernan said.
With the three enjoying the dinner, in the skies of Irio, a small-birded pigeon made its way through the air. It was a peaceful evening in the town.
It soon found the place it was looking for on Cloudy Street. Through one of the windows, it was able to see the three people dining around the table.
It then went through the open window on the second floor, perched on the windowsill, watching around the room with its beady eyes.
On its left leg, there was a small piece of paper with a message written on it.
