Martial Arts Worlds - Chapter 293
Chapter 293: Blazing Bullet
The round, grayish moon appeared in the sky and radiated the world underneath with its gentle glow.
Inside a roaring stadium, the bright lights scared away the darkness and illuminated the single, enormous fighting stage that stood in the center.
Drip! Drip! Drip!
When the green blood landed on the concrete ground, it sizzled and smoked like acid.
Edwin swung his bleeding left arm, and from his bloodstained hand, the poisonous blood sprayed out in a deadly arc towards Julian.
Julian ducked underneath the flying blood, then stomped on the ground, causing the concrete to crack beneath his feet, and as soon as loose broken pieces appeared, he kicked them straight towards Edwin.
Edwin hid himself behind his arms, but those broken pieces of the concrete slashed through his body like knives.
‘Tch, the hell? I thought those pieces wouldn’t be sharp! Did he intentionally destroy the concrete ground in a way that those pieces would end up in sharp pieces?
‘Is it possible to have that kind of masterful control?’
Edwin wondered, amazed at the precision and skill required for such a feat.
“If you’re using poison, I shall be using all my surroundings to fight!”
Julian picked up a few of the remaining pieces from the broken ground and hurled them at Edwin.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
A couple of the pieces landed at Edwin’s legs and body, barely causing any damage, but the last one hit him perfectly in the right eye.
“Argh!”
Edwin gritted his teeth with a sharp pain, feeling blood trickling down his face.
It blinded him temporarily, and he couldn’t see anything on his right side.
‘I see an opportunity, and I shall use that to my advantage. Thank you very much!’
Julian dashed to his right side and entered Edwin’s blind spot.
He turned his head to follow Julian, but then his eyes widened in shock as he didn’t see Julian anywhere.
He just happened to enter his blind spot, disappeared from his view for only a second, and the moment it took for him to turn his head, he was already gone.
“Where?!”
“Behind you!”
Thorsten screamed at the top of his lungs.
Edwin heard the roar, but before he could register it fully, a fist landed at his back that twisted his spine and sent a searing pain throughout his body.
“Ptui!”
Blood spurted out of his mouth, and he flew like a cannonball to the edge of the fighting stage, landing in a crumpled heap.
‘No! No! No!’
Edwin turned around, and with his bloodstained fist, he lunged forward while driving his punch forward with a fierce battle cry.
Julian dodged the punch, and with the same dodge, he moved to his blind spot and elbowed him right in the head.

Painful!
Edwin’s brain rocked inside his head, and he dipped into a state of daze and disorientation.
It shocked him just how much Julian’s attacks hurt. He didn’t know that he was a Martial Champion.
Of course it hurt like hell to get hit by Martial Champion! They were already masters of combat and knew exactly how to strike to cause the most damage.
‘It’s like I am hit by a truck!’
At that moment, Edwin pooled up blood inside his mouth and sprayed it out like a sprinkler towards Julian.
Julian’s eyes widened, and he weaved to the side just in time to avoid the bloody spray, but a few splashes reached his right arm.
Sizzle!
It started burning through his flesh.
While focusing on the blood, Edwin reached out his hand and touched him in the chest. The green-nailed fingers dug into his skin.
“Ah, shit.”
Julian’s heart got twisted with numbness, and he turned jelly-like, like a melting popsicle.
It seemed like the fight was over.
The faces of his friends looked horrified, and the opponent’s bench was celebrating their victory as if the fight was already over.
Edwin’s smile grew wider.
“Edwin! Edwin! Edwin!”
Chants of his name echoed throughout the arena.
“Ugh…”
Coach Jin stood up with a white towel in his hand, contemplating forfeiting the match, as the damage Julian had suffered was already too much.
“Wait a moment.”
Kiernan stopped him from throwing the towel and said.
“You must understand one thing about Martial Champions—they can deal with a surprising amount of damage. I learned that the hard way during my fight with Johan.”
“Huh?”
Coach Jin looked at him in confusion and then turned his head back to the match.
Julian breathed heavily, and then he suddenly started slamming his fist against his chest.
Smack! Smack! Smack!
So hard that his chest began to bruise.
Shockingly enough, he started to get the feeling back in his body, and the numbness began to dissipate.
CRACK!
Julian stomped both his legs on the ground, smashed his right fist on the ground, and then, he brought all his strength to his leg muscles.
“Hmm? He can still move?”
Edwin scoffed, thinking that Julian was just pushing himself and actually couldn’t do any proper moves anymore.
He slowly approached Julian, but at that moment, the ground under Julian cracked like glass, and he launched off the ground like a missile.
“This… what?!”
Edwin screamed, and at that moment, Julian smashed into Edwin with his entire body, sending him flying through the air.
“Metal Style, Blazing Bullet!”
“Uuuuuuurgh!”
Edwin’s chest caved in from the impact, and he flew out of the ring and straight towards Kanyon High’s bench!
“Dodge!”
Thorsten screamed and jumped out of the way. Everyone scattered like ants, and then Edwin smashed through the bench with a resounding crash, sending splinters flying in all directions.
“U…uh…”
Edwin dazedly lifted his head up from the ground, but then his head dropped straight back, and he stopped moving.
The audience held their breaths in shock before they all simultaneously jumped to their feet with cheers.
“Julian! Julian! Julian!”
“Holy shit! That last move was sick!”
“The fight was constant back and forth! Insane fight, but man, Julian is insanely strong!”
In the fighting stage, Julian staggered back to his corner, breathing heavily without any sign of happiness on his face.
He simply returned to his corner, turned around, and started to wait for his next match.
“Is Julian planning to fight still?”
Dominic asked in shock.
“Uh…”
Coach Jin didn’t know what to do, but then he saw Kiernan shake his head and decided not to throw the white towel.
He decided to allow Julian to make his own decision.
