Chapter 428: Infinite Sun Destruction
“Yokai Style, Shakunetsu no Oni!”

Dante’s flaming fist landed at Callum’s right cheek and snapped his head back with a fiery impact.

Callum, with a smoking cheek, swung his fist right back at him and punched Dante in the jaw with a teeth-shaking impact.

SMACK!

“Urgh!”

Dante’s eyes shook as he struggled to stay upright, and then Callum grabbed his hair before delivering a blow to the temple.

The brain rocked inside Dante’s head like a boat on rough waters and made him dizzy, as if he were inside a carousel that was spinning out of control.

Dante suddenly uppercutted Callum in the jaw, and Callum stumbled backwards, holding his jaw in pain.

When he was punched in the jaw, Callum’s teeth accidentally closed, and he happened to bite himself on the oversized tongue.

“Argh…”

Callum let out a muffled scream as he tasted the metallic tang of blood in his mouth.

He could feel the sharp pain radiating through his entire face, but trying to shake it off, he rained punches at Dante.

Left and right—his fists were a blur of motion.

With a grin on his face, Dante punched in response and collided with his opponent’s fist, feeling the impact reverberate through his arm.

Smack! Smack! Smack!

Their fists, knuckles against knuckles, continued to clash in a symphony of violence.

It was a show of absolute mastery of accuracy—Dante was intentionally punching straight into Callum’s fist!

It was to prove that his punches were stronger than his!

However, Dante started sweating as his fists started to sting with pain, as it felt like he was punching at fists made out of concrete.

‘I don’t know how long I can keep this up!’

Meanwhile, Callum gritted his teeth while his fists started to tremble from the impact of Dante’s punches.

He had only once been out-punched, and that was against Leon, but now, it was about to happen a second time.

‘I won’t lose!’

Callum just swallowed the pain, stepped forward, and with a cry, he punched back with all his might.

He started pushing Dante back bit by bit, his feet digging into the sand as he fought for every inch of ground.

“Tch!”

Dante halted his punch, dodged Callum’s wild punch, and then elbowed him across his face.

While Callum was stumbling back, Dante hopped off the ground and sent him flying with a kick to the face.

Callum crashed through a temple pillar and landed inside the temple building with a loud thud, causing dust and debris to fill the air.

The paintings of mighty martial gods looked as if they were staring down at Callum, but they were only paintings.

“And there goes the pillar!”

“My god! The temple will be brought down to its knees before the tournament is even over!”

Callum stumbled back to his feet, cracked his neck, and stared down at Dante.

“I thought you wanted to show that you can overpower me with punches, yet you escaped, like a pussy.”

“And I will!”

Dante lunged at him like an arrow, and as he headed towards Callum in a straight line, he hammered his arm down, aiming to crush Dante’s head.

With a cross to the right, Dante avoided the arm and then punched Callum in the chest before kicking him in the back.

THUMP!

Callum landed on his stomach, but before he could stand up, Dante grabbed him from the back of his shirt and flung him across the building.

SMASH!

Callum smashed through several walls before going through the rock wall into the outside forest.

He tumbled down a steep embankment, finally coming to a stop at the bottom of the hill.

Swoosh!

In the dark sky, something bright, as if a miniature sun had descended, illuminated the sky with a flash of brilliance.

Down at the ground, everyone looked at the sight with amazed expressions.

“Yokai Style, Infinite Sun Destruction!”

Dante’s shout reverberated throughout the forest as he slowly fell from the air with a brilliantly burning right fist.

It was burning so strong that it looked like his fist was the sun itself.

“You think you are a greater striker than me just because you were blessed with Semi Giant’s physique? I was not blessed with anything. I trained every single day to get where I am now!”

Dante screamed.

“Blessed? You think this is a blessing?”

Callum scoffed while his large ears flapped in the wind, and his oversized tongue drooled over his shirt.

He formed a rageful fist with his right, hopped off the ground, and punched towards the burning fist of Dante.

“Haaaa!”

Dante punched down and landed a direct hit to Callum’s fist, causing a shockwave to ripple through the air.

It was a brilliant sight that made many stop and watch in awe.

Down the hill, in the Dusk Town’s cool-shaded streets, people saw the bright lights coming from the forest.

“Whoah…”

“Mom, look!”

“It’s beautiful. I wonder what is happening there.”

The mom and daughter wondered as they were on a night walk and happened to see the bright lights coming from the forest.

“Wow!”

Aoi exclaimed as she stood on the roof of the temple building and turned to look at Kiernan, who looked seriously at the sight in front of him.

‘Heh. I know exactly what he is thinking. Instead of enjoying the sight, he is thinking about ways to counter that move, and based on the serious look on his face, it doesn’t seem to be an easy task.’

She thought to herself with a smile, grabbed his hand, and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

Swoosh!

A young man flew back to the ground, went straight through the forest’s floor, and the ground swallowed him up.

The trees collapsed down to the hole.

Thump…

With his arm weakly dangling beside his body, Dante landed back on the ground and looked at the hole with a tired sigh.

“It’s over…”

He thought out loud.

He doubted anyone would be able to walk back up from that. It didn’t matter if that someone had Semi Giant physique.

Swoosh!

The temple priest jumped into the hole, tossed the trees away as if they were nothing but sticks, and found unconscious Callum at the bottom of it.

He looked fine except his arm was severely burned.

The temple priest picked him up, jumped off the hole, and handed him over to the medical team, who took him away.

“The match is over—Dante Rojas is victorious!”
