Chapter 110: Ch 110: Make it a double date
Rika was not a fan of wearing dresses as comfort wear. She only wore them when she had a function to attend.

So, to wear a dress for daily wear and walk around felt weird.

It felt as if everyone who walked past her checked her out. All this attention was making Rika feel weird on the inside.

She felt unpleasant, but her stomach gave a jolt simultaneously. Rika never realised how twisted her desire could get and worked hard to reign it inside.

“Don’t look so nervous. Raise your head and look up. Act like you want to be here and you are happy to be here. I am not asking you for too much.

Fey asked this question, but it felt like she was accusing Rika rather than asking her about it.

It made Rika feel even worse about her situation, and she looked even more uncomfortable.

Fey did not notice because she was too busy looking at her phone and checking out her brother’s location.

So far, Rika has gotten essential information from Fey about the kind of favour she wants.

“My brother is nearby! Let’s ‘coincidently’ meet him and his partner now. Don’t look nervous, Rika. Be confident and act like you don’t care.”

Fey forced Rika into her role, and Rika complied because of her promise.

However, the uncomfortable feeling that made Rika dislike her situation disappeared. It intensified inside her.

“Are you sure that you should crash your brother’s date? He would be angry at you for doing this to him, and you might fight him over it.”

Rika warned, but Fey looked unphased.

“Well, if I end up fighting Flourite over this, I end up fighting him. What is the big deal about this? Siblings fight all the time. Are you siblings if you don’t fight all the time?”

Fey had no fear of her brother.

That was quite different from Rika, who had to consider what to say most of the time to her siblings so they wouldn’t feel offended. Mark would have been especially violin if he had lost his temper.

He could and had hurt Rika quite severely a few times because he had been unable to control his strength.

“Ah! There he is! Now remember Rika! Just act aloof and as if you don’t care. I will take care of the rest.”

Rika sighed and allowed herself to be dragged behind the taller beta.

She hardly approached Fey’s shoulder and was sure that the height difference looked ridiculous when anyone looked her way.

“Flou! What a coincidence that we met here like this. Is this your recent girlfriend? It would be best if you had introduced me to her. Hello! I am Fey, his twin sister. Did my bother ever mention me to you? Did he tell you how close we are? You can think of us as the same person if you want to.”

Rika looked at Fey as if she had lost her mind.

Even her brother looked taken aback by Fey’s bold choice of words. It felt ridiculous and offending.

But somehow, the omega in front of them just laughed out these words. She did not seem offended when she heard Fey joke around like this.

“I’ve heard of you, Fey! Your brother told me all about you, so I already know quite a bit about you. But he never told me that you were dating someone. Do you know if this is a recent development? Your girlfriend is beautiful.”

That would have been a compliment if Rika had ever heard one. But Rika could not help but notice the taunting tone in that omega’s voice.

Maybe it was because Rika had spent too much time in the high society where every compliment was secretly an insult, and omegas always fought with her sister.

But Rika could feel when a compliment was not genuine.

“Aww, that is very sweet of you to say. But we are just friends. Instead, the one who makes a beautiful couple is you and my brother. You make a lovely couple when you stand together like this. You both should hold hands to become even closer.”

Fey clapped her hand in fake delight as she suggested this.

Her brother’s date went stiff, and an uncomfortable look covered her face.

It was not difficult to say that the omega felt nervous and uncomfortable about the suggestion.

“Fey cut it out. It is still too early for us to hold hands together. This is only our fourth date, and I want my girlfriend to feel comfortable. If the interrogation session is over, can you leave us alone? I want to spend some time with my girlfriend.”

Flourite was starting to look anxious and worried about his date. Rika felt that he was unhappy seeing his sister there with him.

Fey noticed! Of course, she noticed. But she had no intention of backing out and letting her brother have his peace date.

“Aww~ don’t be such a party pooper, Flou! I have a brilliant idea! Why don’t you allow Rika and me to join you? We can make it a double date! That would be alright with you, right miss? We can get closer this way and get to know each other.”

Fey suggested as she immediately turned toward his brother’s girlfriend.

The poor omega was caught off guard and looked at Rika for help.

She was likely sending distressed signals with her scent and warning Rika to stay away from her and her date.

Unfortunately, Rika was a beta, so it did not affect her.

The poor mega had to surrender under Fey’s pressure and accept this double-date idea.

“Fey, don’t be an asshole. The idea of a double date is-”

“I don’t mind! It was about time I met your sister anyway. And also, you should spend more time with your sister. She might feel lonely and think I am taking you away from her. Treat her kindly and with respect.”

The omega chided Flourite, and he instantly backed down.

At least his affection seemed genuine in Rika’s eyes.
