Chapter 180: Ch 180: Are you really one?
‘Ah, I see what is going on here. Is this another way for these kids to harass me? Do they think I will sit back and let them do what they want with me?’

Rika felt annoyed by the order she heard. The alpha looked proud, and his eyes were burning. He wanted to snap Rika into two.

Did he seriously expect Rika to follow his order and drop out of this school? After all, she did to get accepted, what strings did she play to get here?

Now, he wanted Rika to drop on her third day.

‘This Alpha’s got some nerves. But does he expect me to follow his directions? Ugh! Just thinking about it upsets me a lot.’

Rika’s temper was flaring quickly, and so was her annoyance. She did not want to deal with a spoilt brat who thought he could get what he wanted just because he was an alpha.

“Now that everything is cleared out, what are you waiting for? Could you hurry up and get going? I don’t have the whole day to waste on you.”

John commented before he dismissed Rika.

Or he tried to, at least. But Rika had enough of him.

“I am not going to drop out of here, and there is nothing you can do about it. You are also pissing me off now. Do you seriously think no one will mess with you just because you are an alpha? Then you need to rethink your choices.”

“You might be an alpha, but you are not strong. After all, you could not even beat a beta like me.”

Rika taunted back, and she could tell she was getting under John’s skin.

His face was pale but flushed. He had difficulty controlling himself, and his girlfriend had to hold him back.

“This bitch! This is it. I am done holding back now. I will tear this bitch a new one right now. You all wait and see.”

Concerned looks flashed Rika’s way as soon as John stood up.

The second alpha, busy on his phone, looked at what was happening, while the third one looked amused at Rika’s courage and what was about to happen.

Usually, Rika would be hesitant to do anything. She did not want to reveal that she was from the Goodwill family.

But this time, she did not care. Her pride and annoyance would not allow her to back down.

“You bitch! How dare you stand against me! You fucking don’t know whom you are fighting against-”

John threw the first punch. But as Rika had observed before – he had no technique or fineness behind his punch.

He relied too much on his bigger, more powerful frame to carry him along.

And his pheromones as well, to an extent.

Unfortunately for him, his opponent was Rika. Pheromones had a negligible effect on her, and as for the punch itself….

That was too easy to deal with.

Any lack of training made it easy for Rika to turn the momentum of the punch behind thrown away from her and use the alpha’s weight to drop him on his back.

It happened so fast that no one knew what to say.

“You should go to sleep now. You are too aggressive, and that is not good for your hormone levels.”

Rika smiled at John, but it was not a gentle smile. It was a smile that said that John had messed up and gone after the wrong person.

“W-What are you planning…”

The alpha was knocked out before he could finish his question.

A stunned silence followed Rika’s victory, and she looked at everyone else with a gentle smile.

“Would anyone else like to try as well? I will be happy to show you your place.”

Rika offered with a smile, but no one wanted to take her on. They had all seen what happened to John.

No one stood up, and Rika was about to breathe a sigh of relief when she felt a sense of danger approaching her.

She dodged and countered out of instincts, and she evaded the third alpha at the table, who had been looking at Rika all this time with an interested look.

Unlike John, this alpha knew how to fight. His hands were rough in a way only trained hands were, and Rika could feel the force being controlled every time this alpha threw his punch.

‘This is dangerous. John was easy to deal with because he was not trained. But this man! He is trained and knows what to do with his training. I won’t be able to handle him for long.’

Rika was not the only one worried about this. She could feel how heavy the air around her had suddenly gotten and how everyone else was heaving to catch their breath.

This alpha was a dominant one and a dangerous one at that.

‘I refuse to believe that this alpha is from an ordinary family. His fighting style and his presence remind me of Damian. Thankfully, he looks nothing like Damian.’

Rika breathed a sigh of relief, but it was short-lived.

The alpha pulled back for a second but then managed to grab Rika and stop her moments. She felt trapped and could not move.

“Hey, can I ask you a question? Are you a beta? You feel more like an omega to me! But then again, you cannot feel the effect of my pheromones, so maybe I am overthinking. Hmm, should I try to find out about this-”

There was a limit to how much bullshit Rika could tolerate, and she was reaching her limit.

Rika realised that the alpha in front of her was playing around with her, and that pissed her off even more. Her eye twitched, and she had decked out that man hard before Rika knew it.

The alpha never saw this attack coming and was caught off guard by Rika’s attack.

“Keep annoying me, and I will make sure you won’t be able to open your mouth again, alright? I don’t have the patience to deal with you today.”
