Chapter 189: Ch 189: The favor called in
“What are you planning on doing, John? It should be easy enough to pick that beta up from the streets and make her disappear, but that would be too easy of a fate for her. We need to do something that will make everyone fear us.”

John looked at his girlfriend with a pair of tender eyes.

The omega beside him was gorgeous, and she drew his eyes without doing anything. She was different from the beta from before.

‘Fuck! Why am I comparing an unknown beta to my gorgeous omega girlfriend? All this betrayal and thinking must have damaged my mind, someone. I should get my eyesight checked out while I am at it.’

John rubbed his eyes to eliminate the ridiculous thoughts in his mind.

His girlfriend gave him a weird look that made him look away. But John was determined to carry his desire to hurt Rika out at all costs.

“I did not want to get outsiders involved. But now that it has come to this, I have no choice but to use my various connections to get Rika taken care of. There is a person who is like my big brother and is connected to that huge underground gang in the next city.”

“I will get them to take care of Rika so that I am not found involved with anything. After all, I am a law-abiding citizen.”

John grinned as he thought about his revenge and how he would make Rika suffer once he had her.

On the other hand, his girlfriend bit her lip in agitation and looked worried.

“I don’t know, John. Your plans seem a little…dangerous and uncertain. Won’t it be a huge risk for us if Rika someone broke out and went to the police with her complaints?”

The female omega asked in an almost hesitant voice. It seemed like she did not want to overstep boundaries, but her curiosity was too much to handle.

“Hmm, but we won’t be involved with this case! We will pay for undisclosed services and call in a few favours. We will remain safe if it does not get linked to us.”

John proposed and sounded convincing enough for his girlfriend to consider joining him.

As much as she was complaining, she was the first one who wanted to get rid of Rika. It was now a matter of pride for her.

“Fair enough! I was also tired of that bitch pretending to be better than us when she was not. The only one who can be popular in our uni is me.”

The omega agreed, and John wasted no time dragging her toward the shady part of the town.

He said it was shady, but there was no way to distinguish it from the regular part of the town.

If anything, the buildings on this town’s turf were better maintained and looked new. No one could tell that a mafia group lived there.

But John knew the truth and continued walking deeper until he attracted enough attention and was recognised.

The muscular alpha that welcomed John was a typical example of a ‘muscle head’ that people often think about.

He pretended happy to see John and his girlfriend entering his den.

“My little brother, John! What a pleasure to meet you and your mate here. What can I help you with today? Just say, and it shall be done…as long as you can pay the price for it.”

The bigger-looking alpha threw his head back and laughed at his own words.

He was creepy in a way people pretending to be overly lovely usually were, and his actions made John’s girlfriend feel nervous.

On the other hand, John also made a happy face and bumped his hand against the older alpha.

“Hey, bro! Everything’s chill. I see that you expanded your influence among your people once more. This office looks much grander than the last time I was here.”

John flattered the other alpha while maintaining an eye on him to check for his reaction.

The older alpha looked slightly prouder of his achievements and puffed his chest to show that.

“Of course! I work hard and learn fast. Little bro has good eyes. So, what brings you here to us? What kind of help do you need from me?”

The alpha asked as he turned to face the younger alpha.

John smirked before he pulled his phone out and showed it to the older alpha.

“Bro, there is someone I want you to take care of. You see this bitch! She’s a beta, and she pisses me off. But I can’t go after her for legal reasons. Can you help a bro out here and do something about it?”

John asked with an almost begging voice. But he had just enough mocking undertone to make the alpha feel like this was a challenge.

The beta subordinate, the mafia boss, also looked over his shoulder and at the photo John had handed him.

A worried expression spread across that man’s face as he looked at this boss.

“Boss, this person is-”

The beta started, but the alpha waved the phone, indicating that the beta was slightly quiet.

“Don’t worry, little bro. This older brother of yours will take care of everything for you. You don’t have to worry about a thing. However, I would appreciate it if we have a written deal regarding this.”

The mafia alpha proposed with an easy-going smile.

John’s girlfriend hissed as soon as she heard that condition. She felt terrible about this for some reason and did not want John to sign this agreement.

“Hey, this is enough. There is no need for us to be here any longer. Let’s leave right now!”

The girlfriend tried to drag John out, but the alpha refused to budge from his position. He also refused to listen to his girlfriend when she told him it was a bad idea to sign any agreement these shady people suggested.

John was confident about his relationship with his ‘big bro’, and no one could tell him otherwise.
