Chapter 212: Ch 212: Who is the real hostage?
“Ugh! She’s so boring. She doesn’t scream, threaten us, or even talk. Just what kind of person shuts down when they are kidnapped? Do you think she’s gone into shock, and that is why she is not speaking?”
Rika kept an ear out for the kidnapper to hear what they were talking about while she kept to herself the rest of the time.
From what she had gathered, these people had no intention of killing her until they offered her to their boss.
It did make Rika feel scared, but it also assured her that she had some time where she could hope to be tracked down.
“Stop thinking of our merchandise and help me pack everything up. We need to clean up this place well before we leave here. We cannot have people coming here and tracking us down.”
The second man was meticulous and thorough in his clean-up. The first one pouted and walked toward the plane to help his partner.
It was all quiet. It felt like the calm before the storm, and Rika could feel it heading toward her. It made her feel terrified of what was to come for her.
“Oi! Get moving. I just got a call from the boss. He’s meeting us at our next destination to check what we have for him. This is our chance to impress him with our haul.”
The second kidnapper sounded happy and scared at the same time.
Rika recognised both of them better based on their voice and walking patterns. She was sure that this would come in handy later.
For now, she knew that the first kidnapper, the alpha, walked toward her and picked her up like a sack of potatoes over his shoulder.
The blindfold over her eyes prevented Rika from seeing anything, but her surroundings vaguely smelled like fish. That rotten smell made Rika feel a little sick, and she even made a disgusted face.
“Hey, don’t you dare puke on my clothes? I don’t care how much money you are going to make us. If you ruin my shirt, I will ruin your face, alright?”
The alpha asked in an annoyed voice.
Rika felt she would be treated kindlier if she were an omega. But she preferred this proper treatment over being coddled by these perverts.
“Oi! Stop messing around and hurry up. The boss will be here any minute now.”
The second kidnapper assured, and Rika was finally taken out of the warehouse.
She had yet to learn of time. Counting in her mind did not help because Rika kept on relapsing after 3000.
All she knew was that a lot of time had passed, and no one had come for her.
‘Looks like I can’t count on Rocxx and Zhu Li to save me after all. They both have different priorities, after all. I will have to look for a way out myself.’
Rika sighed, but she began to plan. She knew that these two alphas would let their guard down while driving. That would be her chance to attack them and regain her composure.
“Throw her in the back for now. We need to hurry up and get going now. The boss will not wait for us much longer.”
The second kidnapper ordered, and the first one shrugged before he threw Rika into the back section of the van.
They had yet to check Rika properly to see if she carried anything. It was their mistake, and it would cost them heavily.
Once Rika was sure she was alone, she wiggled around to get her hands on the small knife in her back pocket. It was a small but sharp thing she always carried around in the shape of the pin.
Rika could only use that knifed training on how to get out of clothes binds.
‘Using clothes to tie their prisoner up? I am sure these people have no idea what they are doing.’
In the kidnapper’s defence, they were going after a fragile omega princess and had somehow ended up with an innocent bi-stander. How did they know how dangerous Rika was?
“We’re almost there. I bet the boss will like this gift. Beta or not, she’s got a lovely face. And we all know our boss’s got a weakness for such beauties.”
The alpha kidnapper spoke with an amused chuckle, not noticing how Rika snuck into the backseat and got ready to attack.

She decided to go for the alpha since he was in the side seat. Due to his alpha nature, he would be more accessible to subdue.
“Don’t move if you value your life. Stop the car right here and be careful.”
Rika threatened as she pressed up against the alpha’s pressure spot to make him limp and also held a knife to his neck.
The man looked shocked when he felt the press of that cold steel against his neck. But that shock quickly melted into anger, and the alpha tried to move.
But of course, Rika had already taken care of that beforehand, and she would not let this man escape her.
“Stop right there and don’t move. I won’t be responsible for you if you decide to injure yourself.”
Rika warned the man, and the second kidnapper instantly pressed the brakes and stopped the car.
It was clear to see that both kidnappers were stunned after what happened.
Rika had about a minute to run before she would be followed. But a minute was a lot of time for a resourceful person to be able to run away.
She opened the door slowly while watching the kidnappers. As soon as she was ready, Rika bolted away from the door as fast as possible.
*bang*
The sound of that gunshot was loud, and it resonated in Rika’s heart, causing her to feel scared.
‘Those madmen! Are they going to shoot me if I keep running like this? Shit! Just how determined are they to catch me?’
Rika was in deep trouble, and there was only one path forward —the forward one.
