Chapter 309: Ch 309: Good for only one thing
Suzie knocked her attacker down somehow and then breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, the fight was over, and she could take a breath-
But just when Suzie thought she was safe, the kidnapper shook himself off and stood up. He was not an alpha or omega as Suzie expected him to be, but he was a beta.
That meant that her attacker had been immune to Suzie’s attack, and the only thing he felt because of Suzie’s attack was mild annoyance.
“You little shit! You are making it too difficult for me to keep myself in check. I was asked not to kill you, if possible, but you pissed me off.”
Suzie took a startled breath as she faced her opponent. The man lunged toward Suzie to grab her and kill her.
But as soon as he did, someone else grabbed the attacker by his skull and held him in place.
Suzie’s attacker was not a big man, but he was not small either.
But compared to Damian Rodric’s hand that rested on the man’s shoulder, he might as well be a dwarf who could do nothing but stand there and shake in fear.
Damian did not even bother speaking. He grabbed the would-be kidnapper and struck him in the unprotected stomach,
Even Suzie flinched at the loud cracking noise she heard when Damian punched that man.
She did not feel sorry for that man, but Suzie did imagine how much it would hurt if she were to get punched by Damian.
‘Yeah! I would surely die before the pain of this punch even registered in my mind.’
Suzie was sure of this, so she quickly stepped back before Damian looked at her.
“You are not Rika. It looks like we took the wrong turn, Dami! Let’s get going on.”
Damian’s presence was so dominant that Suzie did not even realize someone else was standing beside him.
But it was Emily who decided to take a look at the unconscious man and also hit him once or twice again to make sure this man was knocked out for sure.
Once Emily knew this man was knocked out, she stood up and tugged Damian to leave the corridor.
Emily felt relieved but scared at the same time.
She did not mind that the alpha pair was leaving. But it did make her feel scared to be all alone in this place where her kidnappers were lurking.
“H-Hey! Please wait for me! I want to come with you as well. You cannot just leave me behind like this.”
Suzie quickly followed the alpha pair, but they did not look back at her.
The longer this happened, the more Suzie was convinced that it was all Rika’s fault. Rika was why Suzie was not getting any attention for this.
‘Should I do something about this? It would be better if they never find Rika, right?’
Suzie knew lying to the duo before she was dangerous, but she could not help it. She needed them not to find Rika today.
“Excuse me! I think I know where Rika went. You should follow me if you want to find her.”
Suzie spoke up, and she instantly regretted speaking.
The alpha pair turned toward her with harsh eyes. Those eyes warned Suzie not to play tricks on them if she knew what was good for her.
Fear struck Suzie, and she knew it was too late to return.
‘I need to find Mark soon. Otherwise, I am afraid that I will die today. Oh fuck! Why did I say that I could help them find Rika? I should have just kept my mouth shut!’
However, mistakes have already been made, and Suzie would have to live with the consequences of her actions.

…
Rika quickly sent the message to everyone about what was happening and what they should do next.
She might have asked Suzie to head back and convey her message, but she needed to be more confident that Suzie would listen.
The younger omega was temperamental and would do whatever she wanted. There was no way to control her, either.
Replying to her would be foolish for Rika, so she sent a separate message to everyone.
Rika was confident that Emily would be able to find her. After all, the alpha had a tracker installed on Rika’s phone.
But it was a matter of how long it would take to get to her.
Signal jammers were installed all over the building, so Rika would have to wait to pass a ‘non-secure’ area before Emily could pick up her signal.
Other than that, this would all depend on luck and how foolish her would-be kidnappers were willing to be.
Rika tried to remain calm and lower her presence as much as possible, but this did nothing to help her.
The kidnappers sniffed her out by her (Suzie’s) pheromones.
“Hey, you look different from the photos we were sent. Are you Suzie Goodwill? You don’t look like her.”
The boss of these kidnappers was a little smarter than Rika gave them credit for. He realized quickly that Rika was not Suzie.
However, spending a lot of time with Suzie and getting to know her allowed Rika to imitate the younger omega quite well.
“Hump! It is as if you people deserve to know who I am. Now, get going! I have no time to be wasting on fools like you. Before you ask, I will not handle any request for you or take you to meet Mother.”
Rika’s voice sounded arrogant.
Even Rika was surprised at how closely her voice matched Suzie’s, but she did not let it show on her face.
Her arrogant words made the guard pissed off.
“Tsk, that arrogance can only come from Suzie Goodwill. I’ve heard that you were rotten spoilt by your family! Looks like the rumors are true. Well, I will not feel any guilt for dealing with a brat like you. All you are good for is one thing and one thing only.”
