Chapter 321: Ch 321: Find Rika
“Young Alpha Steinz, I understand you feel disturbed because your friend went missing, but I must ask you to sit down kindly. As much as I like you, I will not tolerate disrespect!”

Ren Li’s pheromones attempted to intimidate Emily, but she stood her ground, her teeth clenched in determination.

Damian’s presence and pheromones helped Emily stabilize herself, and she glared at the old man before her.

“I am afraid it is not easy to calm down, given the current situation. Riks is precious to me, and I would make an enemy out of anyone if it means keeping her safe. We all share the same belief, so you better not play any tricks on us, old man!”

Emily’s resistance is commendable, but this small scuff causes Ren Li to change his attention from Emily to Damian.

The only dominant alpha in the room differed from Ren’s nephew.

Unlink Zhu Li, a coward who could not easily use his God-given gift, Damian Rodric, was different and far more dangerous than the old man had ever met.

‘What a monster this man is! I would not like to make an enemy out of him if possible. But this is the only way I can connect with these families and gain a foothold in this place. I will take all I can for now.’

The old man continued to look at Damian while he gestured for everyone else to sit down. Anyone could tell where his interest was, but they did not bother calling him out.

“I assume you know what we are here for! Where is Rika, and why did you kidnap her? You better tell us the truth before we become your enemies.”

Natasha Goodwill asked the first question during the negotiations. She was not letting this opportunity slip past her.

The old man sighed regretfully before he looked at Natasha Goodwill.

“I am afraid that I do not know what you are talking about. I never kidnapped anyone, and I never forced people, either. I give them a place to live if they want one. You cannot fault me for it!”

The old man tried to act like it was not his fault. But anyone with a functioning brain could tell that he was acting. There was no point in even speaking about it anymore.

Emily was the first one to lose her temper again.

“If you don’t have Rika here, then you won’t mind if we searched your base for her, right? I’m sure you will cause us trouble over such a simple request, right?”

Rika maintained a smiling and friendly face, but this was not a request. She demanded the older man let her search the base for Rika.

“Hmm, that will be a little difficult. Most of the kids I am raising are rabid, and they would bite you if you were not careful! However, if you are still interested in looking around, I won’t stop you either!”

The old man assured Emily, making her doubt that Rika was here at this base.

Either that or this old man was lying right through his teeth to calm Emily down.

“Sure! We will take you up on this offer. We even brought help that can help us search faster. I will go and get Shuu from the truck.”

Emily walked toward the truck where she had the wolf cub waiting.

Shuu looked restless and paced around worriedly before Emily opened the door for him.

“Alright! Time to prove your worth, kid! We need you to find Rika. You can do that much for us, right?”

Emily asked, and she could swear that Shuu could understand her. The wolf pup was about the size of a mini dog and looked ready to tear anyone apart at the slightest provocation.

Shuu was the most nervous with the news of Rika being gone.

“So, this is the help you told me about? What a magnificent mutt this kid is. Do you think I can pet it-”

Ren brought his hand closer to Shuu, but the pup threatened to bite him. The older alpha got the note but did not try it again.

“Go Shuu! Look for Rika and find her. Find Rika at all costs for us.”

Emily opened the pup’s collar, and he darted like a bullet. He was fast, and everyone ran after him to catch up.

The only ones who did not do that were Natasha and Ren Li.

“Alpha Goodwill, I hope you remember the rules of our kind. Since you came here and caused trouble for me, it will be only appropriate for you to compensate us if you don’t find anything. I don’t like it when people make a mess of my place!”

The older alpha reminded Natasha. He sounded confident that Natasha would not find anything here, no matter how hard she looked around.

This confidence made Natasha a little worried. She felt this man was playing with her. He is the same kind of person as my mother-in-law. What an unpleasant feeling this is!’

Natasha felt annoyed inside but did not let it show on her face.

After all, there was no point in showing that this man had gotten to her. She would have lost this game if she showed an annoyed expression now.

“Hmm, we will see about me being polite later. We still need to verify what you have done ever since you landed on our territory and what permissions you have. Once everything is clear, I will think about being friendly with you.”

Natasha was not an easy target, but she showed it clearly. She was not going to give the older man any room to interfere with her.
