Rika felt her heart calm down once she watched that old man leave. She did not even know how unnerved she felt in his presence. Just being in his presence made her head hurt.

“I am so glad that this is over. Zhu Li, are you alright? Your uncle, he-”

Rika addressed Zhu Li first, and that was a mistake she did not foresee coming.

She should have addressed Damian first since he looked most on the edge of his seat. But Rika did not realize just how close Damian was to snapping.

She only realized something was wrong when Damian grabbed her hand and pulled Rika outside.

He gave no one time to react to him before he was out of the door with Rika’s arm held tightly to his wrist.

“Damian, are you alright? Did something happen? Where are you talking to me? Hey! I need to head back and talk things out. Shuu is in there as well, and I-”

The older alpha finally let Rika’s wrist go, but he picked Rika up and threw her over his shoulder.

He was angry and annoyed, but Damian did not clearly show these emotions on his face, which made Rika doubt his intentions.

“Damian, what are you planning? Hey! Wait a minute! You cannot just take Rika away from me like this! What if she-”

Emily followed after Damian, and she sounded annoyed and angry. She was about to scold Damian more when she noticed his expression.

The air around the dominant alpha had changed since Ren Li whistled in his ears.

Emily realized the danger in the air, so she turned toward Rika to address her instead of talking to Damian.

“Rika, can you put up with Dami this time? I know he is not being the best right now, but he is too much on edge. I am afraid he is not in a place where we can discuss things.”

Rika sighed at Emily’s request.

She could not even deny it even if she wanted to. Rika was at Damian’s mercy at the moment, with her body being held up by the older alpha and over his shoulder.

“Alright! I will cooperate with Damian. But can he put me down first? This feels awkward!”

Rika complained, but Damian had an instant response to her request.

“No! I will not let you go. Emily, drive us home.”

Damian’s words sounded like a command. There was no need to argue with him, so Rika did not even bother speaking up.

She was put into Damian’s lap as soon as she sat down, and Rika continued to feel his hardness poke her the whole way.

The older alpha had his face buried against Rika’s scent gland the whole time, and his stimulating nuzzle also made Rika lose her mind.

“Dami, this is-”

Rika gasped as she felt a jolt of arousal go through her body. Her scent gland was sensitive, and the alpha’s nuzzling and grouping were not helping her maintain a clear state of mind.

Emily’s hand tightened on the wheel as soon as Rika’s body emitted pheromones. She knew it was only a matter of time before Emily listed control.

Damian was already all over Rika, his hand under her clothes and cupping his breasts in a way that was not visible.

Still, this was way beyond indecent, but who would say anything about it?

Finally, they reached the apartment, and Rika sighed in relief. But it turned out to be too easy.

She had not even crossed the threshold when she felt a hand on her arm. She was pulling toward the couch, where Damian manhandled her into his desired position.

“Dami, you are going too fast! Rika needs time-”

Damian let out the most terrifying growl Rika ever heard in her life. It made her legs go lax, and her body became wet.

The omega inside her told Rika she needed to submit and let the alpha breed her. That was the only way to soothe the alpha in front of her.

“Emily, stay away for the first round. I won’t be able to control myself once I start! You will get hurt if you come too close to me.”

The alpha warned, and Emily was about to protest when she saw the look in Damian’s eyes. It was dark and scary. This was a dominant alpha asked not to be messed with.

Rika realized that something was wrong as well. She could feel her body heating up, but this feeling was much more viscous than any other time she had experienced it.

The heat was making her unable to think. All Rika wanted was relief from the looming feeling in the pit of her stomach.

‘Shit! This is not good! Is this heat? I-I feel terrified! I-I might get consumed by it if I am not careful! What should I do now? I need to stop Damian-!’

Rika looked up at the satisfied expression Damian gave her when he woke up. He looked glad to see that his strategy was working.

“It’s alright! You can lose yourself to it now! I will take care of you! I promise!”

Damian’s words were soft but hard. They made Rika feel terrified but soothed her at the same time.

Rika was losing her mind, but she could tell one thing for sure – the one who needed this more than her was Damian. He struggled to hold himself back all this time but was reaching his limit.

‘Ah, Damian triggered my heat! But it was only a matter of time before this happened anyway. It will be better to finish this before I lose my rationality.’

“Damian, it’s alright! I will not be able to retain my thoughts in a little while, but I want you to do what you must. There is no need to hold yourself back once I go into heat.”

Rika promised, and it made Damian freeze. Even Emily looked stunned by her decision and stood up and smashed her fist on the table.
