“Don’t worry, sweetheart. I did not give you anything dangerous. I just gave you a little…performance enhancer, if you can even call it. You need to be in heat if you will give me my reward after all.”

The rough alpha laughed a little as he watched Suzie struggling to accept what had happened.

His words caused Suzie to pale and get angry. She realized that she had messed up, but that did not mean she would take this sitting down.

“You don’t know what you are doing! Do you think you can get away after making me go into heat? If you touch me, then I-”

“What will you do, darling? Don’t you see the situation here? There is no one here to save you from us. We can kill you, and no one will notice. You have no say in what happens to you.

Besides, who said anything about killing you? That is not what I want. I just want to spend some quality time with you. Isn’t your body demanding the same right now?”

The alpha asked. Suzie noticed her condition with an angry expression on her face.

Her body was currently about to break down, with how much it hurt even to stand. Everything was swimming in and out of focus for her. Even breathing was difficult.

All these were signs of heat, but what Suzie was experiencing was not the normal heat she was used to. The drugs had messed with her system.

“Y-You say all that, but aren’t you afraid of what would happen to you once my family finds out about this-”

“And what will your family do? Once I bind you to me, they will have to accept me as their son-in-law, right? Since you agreed to anything, it will be a binding contract, and we have proof.”

Flimsy proof like the one this alpha had did not hold up in court. Suzie knew that but knew she could not hold her head high in front of other people if she ever got marked here.

She was one of the people who had been vocal about avoiding pre-marriage marking and following the traditional way.

“It’s over! Our deal is over! I don’t want your service anymore. I will be heading out.”

Suzie tried to walk, but her legs were weak. She pushed herself to her feet and took three steps before her heat became apparent.

“Now, darling! It seems like it’s time. Let’s have fun and make memories we will never forget.”

Suzie did not even have the mind to struggle. Her body was under the influence of heat, acting how it wanted to.

She had no recollection of what happened but knew that her neck throbbed when she woke up.

There was a bite mark on her gland, and Suzie could feel the bond settling down and making her bound to the alpha in the bed with her.

“Hello, sweetheart! Are you finally awake now? Don’t try to get up! You were like a firecracker in bed; you just kept on going. If you get up now, you will only hurt yourself.”

Suzie wanted to protest, but the bond forced her body to be submissive. The alpha in front of her was using his authority to control Suzie, and with a sudden shock, she realized that she had been mated for life to this jerk.

Her life was as good as over now.

Rika was feeling a lot of emotions at the same time.

She felt tired, sleepy, and even horny. The mixture of the drug she had taken, along with the heat-inducing pheromones in the air, made her feel weird.

It had gotten so bad for her that she wandered off during Ren Li and her grandmother’s discussion.

She called Ren Li to tell him she was leaving alone, but the alpha did not listen.

And if he had, he would not have shown it on his face, so Rika had no way of knowing what happened.

“Huh? Where am I going? I just need to rest. Ugh, I guess I will lean against the wall for now.”

Rika rested her hand against the wall and leaned her weight against it. It felt nice to have something supporting her when she felt like she was about to fall.

She closed her eyes, likely to rest, but she had no idea how long she kept her eyes open.

The next time she opened her eyes, she could feel someone reaching for her face, and she did not want to be touched.

So, Rika grabbed that offending hand and opened her eyes in a glare.

“What are you doing?”

Rika asked in a scary voice, not wanting to deal with a pervert. But as soon as her eyes registered Emily’s concerned face, Rika calmed down and pulled her hand back.

“You look like you drank a lot more than you expected. Do you think you can walk? Or should one of us carry you to a private room?”

Emily asked in an amused voice.

Emily looked real to Rika, and she could even touch her. But who knew if this was also an illusion of her mind? Rika would not be surprised if that turned out to be the case.

Her mind was all over the place, playing tricks on her.

“Are you real? I can touch you, but I don’t think it means anything. Eh, Damian is here as well. Are you both supposed to be here?”

Rika asked as she touched Emily’s face and then her ear. The more she did this, the more this situation felt like a dream.

“Looks like you are completely drunk on the drug in the air. This is bad, but I still find you adorable. Dami, help Rika out by picking her up. We will take her to our room.”
