Chapter 382: Ch 382: She’s a Nightmare
The front desk lady was having a fantastic day.
Not many people had checked in for the day, but all those who did belonged to their highest-paying customer’s bundle. Their sales for the day were going to be massive.
But the best part was no one called them to ask about anything stupid. People were enjoying their private time without the office staff. And that was exactly what the front desk lady hoped for a peaceful day without unnecessary interruptions.
She was confident no issues would arise with the day unfolding so peacefully. Little did she know the call from Rika’s room was about to change everything.
“Hello, front desk speaking! How may I help you out?”
The front desk lady asked with a cheerful voice. She was not even forcing herself to smile this time. It came naturally to her, and she maintained it with everything she had.
She waited for the person on the other side to answer but only got radio silence.
‘Ah, someone must have called here by accident. This happens all the time. I should put the phone down before the customer begins to feel weird about me picking up this phone for them.’
The front desk lady was about to put the phone down when the other side spoke up.
“I want your costliest wine with the costliest dinner choice. Bring it in 10 minutes, or I will throw it all out.”
The female voice sounded pleasant, but the words were not pleasant. The front desk worker was taken aback to hear such an order.
But still, she was a professional and handled the situation as the guidebook suggested.
“Of course, miss. I will bring you what you ordered as soon as I can. Please give us some time to arrange it all.”
The front desk lady spoke to the customer while punching in the room service order.
“You better be on time and not even a second later. Otherwise, I will throw all the food away.”
The front desk worker looked worried, and her face sweated at the threat.
She was not paid enough to deal with these things and could not let this happen. Wasting costly food would get her scolded, and the manager would take it out on her.
‘Why do such fuzzy customers only come when I am on a shift? I want nothing to do with this.’
The front desk worker would have cried if she could have, but she could not show such emotions at work.
“We will get it ready, miss. We will have everything ready as soon as we can.”
The front desk lady assured me and placed an urgent order for Rika’s service.
It took fifteen minutes instead of the ten Rika had ordered, but the front lady was sure this was fine. This was the fastest way to cook the dish their customer wanted.
Since a person was spending so much on their meal, the front desk worker was curious to see who she was.
But she could not leave her post. Her curiosity turned into alarm when she saw the manager heading down with an angry and complex look on her face.
Her hair looked drenched in wine, and her hand had the half-destroyed meal their chef had pain-stalking worked on this whole time.
“What happened? Oh shit! Look at your hair and face, manager! Just what in the world caused this to happen?”
The front desk worker asked in a panicked voice. She looked shaken and thankful she had not gone out to serve this food.
What happened to the manager could have happened to her.
“Tsk, that bitch in room XXX decided that since we were 5 minutes later on her service, she might as well not eat this all and make us pay! Just who does she think she is? An entitled brat?”
It was a given that the manager was angry at this, but the front desk worker was amused by her apprehension.

“We can’t do anything about it. She’s the the boss’s guest, so we can’t even chase her out like we would usually chase out customers. Let’s just endure it for now.”
The front desk lady advised, and the manager took a deep breath before calming herself down.
“You are right! I need to calm down and think about what it is rationally. I get paid to deal with this stuff daily. And just how bad can a single customer be?”
That was what the manager asked, but little did she know that this was only the start of Rika’s plan.
She would quickly make things worse for everyone and make them feel awkward around her.
…
“S-Sir, can you please tone down your looks? You are scaring everyone here. You don’t have to smile, but can you control your pheromones-”
The omega worker at the airport tried to calm Damian down, but he was out of luck because the dominant alpha did not seem interested in hearing him out.
Damian was sometimes rude and too tall for the omega to feel confident talking to.
Not even alphas dared to approach this alpha, who seemed to be in a bad mood.
‘Fuck, just what the hell did I get myself into? This seems bad! What should I do now?’
The worker did not know what to do next. So, he kept his smiling face on and prayed that it would be enough to get this alpha to move.
It did not work.
“Sir, please! Making things harder for us will not make us scan your stuff faster. You need to follow the protocol-”
The omega tried to reason with Damian, but the taller alpha seemed hell-bent on not hearing him out.
It caused the omega to sigh before his intercom buzzed, and he picked it up.
As soon as he did, his eyes widened, and he looked at the dominant alpha in front of him with an enlightened and frightened expression.
“What?”
Damian asked rudely, but the omega quickly composed himself and looked away.
“N-Nothing, sir! It is nothing. Please head in this way!”
