Chapter 383: Ch 383: The man at the security
Damian’s state was enough to make the omega almost faint. She could not take the pressure she was being handed, and her legs buckled.
When she was sure she would pass out, Damian looked up at the security guards who approached him.
“Sir, please come this way with us. We need to talk with you about citizen safety regulations. If you don’t cooperate, we will be forced to act against you.”
The guard’s warning hung in the air, their uncertainty about Damian’s next move palpable. They were on edge, unsure if he would retaliate.
Surveying the guards, Damian weighed his options. Finally, he made a decision, and he complied for no reason other than to get this part over quickly. The sooner he was out, the sooner he could start tracking down Rika.
The security guards looked suspicious of his actions. They had not expected Damian to give in this easily, so none of them put their guard down as they escorted Damian out of the airport and toward the back security chamber.
As soon as they were out of the public eye, one of the officers whipped out his gun, and he held Damian at gunpoint.
“Don’t try anything funny, Alpha Rodric! We have all the information about you and your true identity. If you don’t comply with regulations, we will shoot.”
The officer was brave as he stood with his gun held high but not steady. No one felt calm when Damian was getting out of such terrifying pheromones.
One of the workers had already vomited out of fear and pressure, and the others did not look far behind.
“You want to capture me? That does not sound like a good idea to me. It makes me feel angry and agitated.”
Damian complained to the people before him, but they all looked agitated and suspicious of him.
“Shut up! We know who you are and what you are capable of doing! Don’t think that your speech will have any effect on us. Now, put your hands up and come with us.”
The head of the security was a rash young alpha looking to make a name for himself.
The original order had been for them not to act rashly and let this alpha go as soon as possible. But the rash officer wanted to make a name for himself. There was no way he was going to let this opportunity go by.
“Oh! That’s interesting! You know who I am, and you still decided to detain me. I wonder if you are stupid or just reckless.”
Damian asked, and it irked the officer enough to make him mad.
“Shut up! I am not reckless or stupid. I am a brave soldier willing to do what no one else is willing to do. One more word and I will put you behind bars-”
The man spoke, but before he could finish, Damian tightened his hand and pulled the man up so that his feet did not touch the ground.
It caused the officer to cry out in pain as he was stretched, but he still tried to struggle.
Damian tightened his grip even more when the officer tried it, and that wrist snapped.
“Put our boss down. You have ten seconds to do that. After that, we will shoot.”
The second in command ordered Damian while he held his gun at ready. He would shoot Damian if it meant that his boss would be okay.
But Damian did not show a single sign of worry on his face.
“Why don’t you talk to your section chief first? I am sure that man has a lot to say to you.”
Just as Damian finished giving the advice, the badge radio that their boss carried on his person flared to life.
“You idiots! I told you not to engage this man in any kind of violence. He is a V.V.I.P., and he needs to be escorted like one. Now, stop making a scene and do as you are told.”
When the section chief saw what had happened, he also felt nervous. He knew he needed to fire the security head who had caused such an incident.
However, the other officers could be spared if they followed his order.
“S-Section chief, but this man is-”

The security head tried to speak, but the pressure on his arm made him shut his mouth. It was just too much for him.
The section chief sighed over the radio.
“I know. But that means nothing. Now, follow my orders, or I will fire you all. Then you can do whatever you want, and it will not impact us.”
The section chief threatened, and no one wanted to be fired. People quickly began to throw away their weapons and change sides.
The security head knew he had lost as soon as the order came. He would become the target if he tried to hurt this man.
“Behave, and I will not have to snap your neck next.”
The man holding the section chief up whispered in his ear before he let him go. His words caused the section chief to feel agitated, but he quickly recovered and rubbed his ear.
‘Shit! That scared me. I hope I will not have to stay in the company of such a man for long!’
Unfortunately, the section chief made him accompany Damian Rodric outside so that no other incident would occur. It felt like torture to him, but orders were orders, and he could only obey them.
Once Damian was out of his sight, the man let out a sigh of relief, and he relaxed.
‘Finally, that demon is gone. But the fact that someone like Damian Rodric came here is nothing short of trouble. I will need to inform others about this and soon.’
The security head was part of the triads, and he had been precisely placed in his position to help them gather intel. This was as much intel as he could currently get.
