Chapter 387: Ch 387: The Perfect Execution
“Don’t follow me in here. I want to be alone and think. I will scream if you follow me inside the room.”
Rika made her choice clear as she slammed the door shut on her guard’s face. The alpha looked stunned and angry enough to curse at her.
His gaze made Rika shudder and feel dirty. She did not like the looks she got from the passer-by alphas. They looked at Rika like she was a piece of meat they all wanted to chew on.
She was not a treat for them to feast on; she was just someone trying to live her life without any worries.
‘Worthless alphas! What gives them the right to look at me like that? I want to tear their eyes apart and chew on them. No one gets to look at me like that except my alphas!’
Rika paused a little bit when she raged. These thoughts were as good as a confirmation that she had an alpha (or two) she could not remember. But it felt…. right to think about her alphas in this context.
It made her huddle in a small bundle with the blanket on the bed, and she felt lonely.
She missed something she never knew she would, which made her feel restless and guilty. She should not be feeling like this at this moment.
But memories or no memories, Rika felt like she was missing something.
Her hand unconsciously moved over to her stomach, and she rubbed it before remembering that she had lost what was in there.
Until now, Rika had no time to think about her loss, but now she suddenly felt lost.
She knew she was too young, and this baby could be nothing more than an unplanned accident. But her brain kept thinking ‘what-if’ it was not.
This was a planned pregnancy, and she had just lost it. What would she tell her alpha about this?
The thought of all this made Rika’s breathing harder, and she felt suffocated. She wanted out of here, and she liked it fast.
Her hands continued to grip her blanket, and the will to leave this room left her body.
“Miss, do you want dinner-?”
The alpha from before tried to enter the room by knocking (and getting Rika to open) the door. But she only growled back at him, causing the alpha to back down and rethink his choices quickly.
Rika did not feel hungry, did not feel like doing anything, and did not want to rest.
She just felt…nothing, and the numbness began to eat away at her.
‘Ah, so this is depression! I feel like I had it coming big times. I should move and eat a little bit. It might make me feel better!’
Rika’s brain told her this, but her heart said to her that she did not have to move if she did not want to.
And Rika was more inclined to listen to her heart than her brain. It was a stupid move, but this was what she wanted to do.
She closed her eyes, and the sleep finally took over her senses. When he opened her eyes again, it was already morning, and people were banging on her door to get her to open it.
Rika finally decided to drag her body out of the bed and open the door.
“What the hell do you want? Can’t you see that I am trying to sleep here?”
Rika asked the manager, who looked frantic. But she finally stilled and let out a relieved sigh once she saw that Rika was fine and ready to move around.
“I am sorry for being like this, but I needed to confirm whether you were fine. The master will be coming down here to check on you in a few hours, and we can’t have you dead then.”
The manager smiled, but Rika could hear the pain through her gritted teeth.
She knew that the manager did not like her as much as she pretended to do (who would, after all, Rika pulled her).
She would not even like herself if she encountered someone like her on the street.

“I understand! Now, leave me alone. Also, I would like to go out and eat. I’m tired of this hotel food.”
Rika complained, and the manager finally gave in.
“Fine! In an hour, I will accompany you to another restaurant to eat out and send someone to pick you up.”
The manager promised, and Rika nodded. Now, it was up to that omega to take care of her side of the deal and distract the alpha. Meanwhile, Rika would make all the preparations to run away.
She might not have any money, but she could swipe some off around these places. She knew how to break locks.
Rika did not even care if the security camera saw her swiping off money from other rooms. It was not like they could go to the police or report anything.
She was sure that these people had kidnapped her, so if they went to the police, they would only be getting themselves caught by the police for this.
‘Or they could bribe the police and keep their mouths shut. But anyway, I need enough money to buy a plane ticket on the black market and a new identity for the time being. I cannot stay here forever.’
Rika bit her lip as these thoughts and plans came to her mind. They were accompanied by other smaller memories of plans she had likely made.
These memories made Rika feel like she had already lived in a grey world where she was used to doing all this.
‘Heh! Looks like I was not able to escape this mafia side, even after I lost my memories. Just how deeply involved was I in all this shit? Am I fucked or something?’
Rika did feel fucked here, but she took in a deep breath and decided not to think about it.
The less she thought and remembered, the less it would also impact her in the future.
