Chapter 393: Ch 393: No room to complaint
Natasha felt shaken by what she heard. She was unsure if she was supposed to feel happy or sad about this news.
On one hand, Rika’s lack of bad memories presented an opportunity. Bonding with her and creating new, positive memories would be more accessible. This was, in essence, a second chance for their family to grow closer and stronger.
But at the same time, Rika’s memories made her half of who she was. It felt painful to have a person she knew and loved look at her like she was a stranger.
It made Natasha feel angry and guilty. She did not want to feel such emotions since they triggered her heart.
“Rika lost her memory? My sister lost her memory, and you did not even think about telling us a thing? Were you going to hide it until the end so that none of us knew, and we continued to make a fool out of ourselves?”
Mark asked as he held his face between his hands. He was taking this news much harder than Natasha had.
It was a given that Mark would take this the hardest. He had been the closest to Rika when they had been younger (or so he would like to believe).
He was counting on those childhood memories to soften Rika’s heart for him. But that would no longer work out now, as he wanted things to work out.
“I feel like I should say something about this, but I don’t have any words. I want to feel bad about not remembering you both, but my instinct says it would be better if I didn’t remember what happened.
Anyway, please let me leave for now without you, and ‘if’ I regain my memories and want to call you, I will.”
Rika assured the pair they had no choice but to let her go. They were too stunned to do anything else, the weight of the situation pressing down on them.
Emily let out a snicker of amusement before she followed Rika and Damian outside.
She had wanted to say these words to Mark and Alpha Goodwill for some time, but it always felt awkward since they were related to Rika.
Emily was torn. She did not want to offend Rika by saying something she should not, yet she felt the need to express her thoughts.
‘Oh well, things worked out in our favor! I should stop thinking about negative stuff and think of ways to regain Rika’s memory.
“Don’t worry about my memory so much. I might not remember everything, but my instincts tell me if I like something. I will not get fooled so easily this time around.”
Rika assumed Emily, and it caused the older alpha to snicker.
“When did you ever get fooled by someone?”
Emily asked while trying to contain her laughter the whole time. It made Rika pout before she forced her face to go neutral.
“So, you did not try to scam me into this three-way bond between you? Somehow, I cannot believe that this was my idea.”
Rika looked down at Emily from where she was in Damian’s arms. Her accusing eyes made Emily quickly look away with an awkward expression on her face.
“Ah, about that…let’s forget about all that now. You accepted us, knowing how fucked up we were, right?”
Emily asked jokingly before remembering that Rika did not have most of her memories. It made her heart skip a beat, but she remained optimistic about what she wanted.
“You are right. I might not recall most things, but I do recall that I liked you both enough to want to spend the rest of my life with you. Do with that knowledge as you will.”
Damian was the one who let out a groan at those words. He looked frustrated and flushed at the same time.
His eyes also looked hungry, which made Rika feel a little nervous.
“You should be careful about provoking us, Rika. Just because we act like good and respectable people does not mean we are good and respectable people. If you are not careful, you might get devoured by us.”
Emily warned Rika, but she only shook her head.
This threat did not feel as scary as Emily thought it did.
Rika’s body shivered in excitement at what this could mean for her. She wanted to know and experience pleasure and hope that it would jolt her memory.

“I don’t mind sleeping with you both. I don’t know what kind of person I was in the past, but I know I was not shy about spending time with you in bed. Let’s do everything you two want to this time.”
Rika promised, and Emily let out a frustrated sigh.
“Don’t provoke us like this, Rika. It is hard enough to hold ourselves back without your words of encouragement. If you keep saying things like this to us, then we might not be able to stop in time.”
Emily warned Rika, but she felt fine with it.
“Hmm, somehow, I don’t think I would mind that as much as you are making this out to be. You don’t have to hold back this much when you are with me, alright?”
Rika asked while reaching for Emily’s face. But Damian decided that he wanted attention first, and he ended up dragging Rika along for the ride.
Emily looked stunned before she let out a sigh of regret and followed the pair. She felt that she was making a mistake.
“Darn it! That doctor better not make us wait for long and quickly finish her check-up. I don’t think I can hold back for long.”
Emily complained as she gritted her teeth in irritation. She felt annoyed and frustrated.
Her tone made Rika shiver in fright and arousal. She wanted to touch Emily, but Damian’s pheromones made Rika feel weird and all loose.
‘Ah, I am likely not going to last long like this. I need to breathe…but this all feels too overwhelming for me. Ah, but who cares! I did ask for this, right? I have no room to complain about this.’
