Chapter 433: Ch 433: Will you stop causing Trouble?
“It’s such a nice day for a wedding. Don’t you all think so?”

“I saw the bride! She looks so beautiful. Isn’t the Groom so lucky to have someone like her?”

“Ah, I want a wedding like this as well. It is so grand, and everything is decorated as well. This might as well be a love match, right?”

People gossiped as they sat before the wedding altar, where the bride and groom were to take their vows.

It was a beautiful day where everyone was happy. But Rika was having a hard time today, not because Mark was getting married.

No, the marriage had nothing to do with her troubles. But the small bundle of energy had everything to do with it.

Almost a year after Mark engaged, he held his wedding, and many people came. Rika was on good enough terms with her family to accept this invitation easily.

However, the kid in her arms had a different idea, and he kept Rika up the whole night.

“Do you want me to take Ryouma from you, Rika? You should get some rest while you can. I can look after our son in the meantime.”

Emily asked as she reached out to grab her son. But the tiny bundle in Rika’s arm grabbed Rika’s clothes and refused to let go.

That little child was too clingy toward Rika, and he did not like anyone approaching to take Rika away from him, even if that person turned out to be her mother’s mate.

The kid wanted attention, and he liked it all about himself.

“Looks like Ryouma has no intention of going to you or allowing you to hold him. Don’t look so shocked, Emily. You know how Ryouma is. I will grow out of this phase soon.”

Rika promised as she tried to reach out and console Emily.

But the tiny bundle in her arms decided that this was not correct. He needed all the attention in the world, so he cried loudly until he got it.

The wedding hall looked at Rika and her son. As soon as Ryouma started crying, Rika had no choice but to go out to try to calm her son down.

“I will be back in a second, Emily! Make sure to call me if anything happens.”

Rika stood up and walked out before Emily could say anything to her.

That sudden disappearance caused Emily to open her mouth, quickly realizing she needed to catch up to Rika.

It had been about a month and a half since Rika gave birth, and she still had that new mother glow on her face. Her body also shone with a new light. That made her a prime target for hungry alphas to go after.

‘Tsk, I refuse to lose Rika to anyone else. I need to call Damian and tell him what happened. I am sure he will find Rika before I do.’

Emily still felt bitter that Damian could find Rika quicker than she could. But there was nothing she could do about it. It just felt like fate was playing a cruel joke on her by doing this.

Meanwhile, Rika had walked far away from the venue, and the baby in her arms finally calmed down.

Ryouma was a handful and did not like going to anyone else but Rika. He was overly dependent on Rika when she was near him, but she had heard that he was fine at other times.

“Ahh, you are such a handful, Ryouma. You need to stop giving your other parents such a hard time. You also need to let me rest sometime. Carrying you all the time is hard for me.”

Rika complained, but she did so lovingly. She would not put the kid down so that she could rest herself when an alpha smiled at her.

She quickly looked around, and Rika was surprised to find she had walked far away from where she wanted to go.

‘When did I get out of the wedding hall? Moreover, I have a bad feeling about this. I should head back now.’

Rika was about to head inside when an unknown alpha blocked her way.

“Hey, miss! How about you and I have some fun? We can take care of your baby as well. So, what do you say? Are you game?”

The alpha who asked Rika this looked highly young.

And she was not talking about ‘early 20s’ young. She meant that he was a teenager no older than fifteen and likely recently awakened.

Maybe that was why Rika tried to make an excuse for him and pretended she did not hear him speak.

“I am sorry, but I need to get going now. I will pretend I never heard you speak and-”

Rika tried to walk past him, but he grabbed Rika’s wrist.

“Where do you think you are going, miss? I never said that you were allowed to leave. If you continue to be like this, it will annoy me.”

The young alpha spoke in an intimidating voice. But if he tried to warn Rika, he was out of luck.

“Oh my! What a tragedy. I don’t have time for your bullshit, and you should not as well. I don’t want to get you in trouble, but it will be different if you don’t leave me with a choice.”

Rika warned, but the alpha only scoffed at her words. Now, even she could not save him from what would happen. (More like she did not want to save him from his fate of being crushed.)

Damian’s fist crushed the man Rika was standing before, and she only sighed pitifully.

“See! I said you should not get ahead of yourself too much. I tried to warn you, but you did not listen. So, who’s fault is this?”

Rika asked as Damian held the half-unconscious man up by his shoulder.

“What should I do with this kid? Should I dispose of him? I can make it so that no one ever finds his body.”

The kid heard those words as well, and he looked spooked.

Damian’s alpha pheromones were no joke, and they warned everyone to stay away from him.

Looking at him was enough to make Rika sigh and feel an incoming headache. She did not want to think about him killing anyone.

“You can let go of him now, Damian. It’s fine! Moreover, I’m sure this was all a mistake, and this man won’t try to do that again. Right?”

Rika looked at the foolish alpha, hoping he wouldn’t make the same mistake as last time.

Luckily for her, Damian looked spooked and quickly nodded in agreement.

“Y-Yeah! I won’t make the same mistake again. So please, let me go! I promise I will never try to go after an omega like this.”

Damian’s warning had done its work. The alpha who had tried to attack Rika was too scared to do that again.

But that does not mean that Damian was satisfied. The alpha looked ready to crush anyone at any given time.

It made Rika feel sorry for the kid, and she quickly interfered.

“This is enough, Dami! I don’t think we need to punish this kid anymore. He has learned his lesson. Besides, we should head inside now. We left Emily alone for a long time.

She must be looking forward to seeing us soon.”

Rika dragged Damian, and he finally let the unknown alpha go.

When Rika looked at him, the kid was shaking, and she signaled for the young alpha to run away when he had a chance.

The kid took it and was out before anyone could say anything.

*Sigh*

“You are far too good for these people. It makes me worried that someone would take advantage of you.”

It was likely an observation, but to Rika, it felt like a complaint. As soon as she heard that, she let out a giggle.

“Oh really? Well, isn’t that a good thing? That means I will not be able to stay mad at you for long, even after you pull all this shit. You should consider yourself lucky for it.”

Rika spoke before she grabbed Damian’s hand and pulled him inside the hall. Ryouma was secured in her other arm, and the baby seemed to enjoy his mother’s attention.

“Rika, Damian, you both are finally here…and I assume something happened. Something always happens when you are together. Fuck! Why do you have to be like this?”

Emily asked as she let out a heavy sigh. She was annoyed but trying her best to hold her irritation inside.

“Well, it’s fine, right? We are just full of surprises. Besides, I keep you both on your toes, and you love me anyway.”

Rika spoke with confidence. It made the other two rub their foreheads before Emily sighed in understanding.

“You are right! We love you too much, so can you keep yourself safe? It will lessen our worries so much. If not for ourselves, then think about Ryouma- hey, stop giggling at me.”

Emily complained, but Rika was unable to control herself. She loved her new family with all her heart, and moments like these made her appreciate them even more.
