Emily understood that Rika needed her alone time, but she could not bring herself to give her that much.

That was why she did not even realise it when she opened the door to Rika’s hospital room. Damian stiffed before throwing the doctor away and entering the room like a possessed man.

All the medical staff rushed toward the beta doctor, who wanted the best for Rika.

“I apologise for this disturbance. As this is our fault, I will compensate you and the hospital. But please understand that Sui is important to me and my partner. We can get triggered easily when it comes to her.”

Most people around the room made an understanding face when Emily spoke.

Losing control of one’s instinct was a typical alpha pheromone, especially for someone as dominant as Damian.

Even the doctor knew it, and he nodded to show that he was unharmed to the people.

Emily jested as she closed the door and walked further toward the pair. Once she was close enough, Emily reached out to touch Rika.

But it was clear that Rika had other intentions with her, and she pulled Emily’s body flush against hers.

The new position made Emily stiffen in shock, and she tried to move. But it was clear that Rika did not want her to move.

When she pulled Emily down, Rika tightened her grip around her wrist. It was a sudden move that Rika did not expect, and Emily ended up staying where she was without moving.

Damian also made a noise of content before he burrowed his face into Rika’s neck. He seemed to be sniffing her scent to make sure she was alright.

It felt comfortable to smell that faint but sweet undertone of Rika’s pheromone, but as much as Emily wanted to relax, she felt her body reacting in a certain way.

‘Fuck! I knew this would happen to me. I got hard just thinking and barely touching Rika. I wonder how I will fair in the future?’
