Chapter 69: Ch 69: You are Rika Goodwill?
Rika had not been alerting until now, but the situation had suddenly turned dangerous for the omega.

She needed to quickly get away from the fighting pair in front of her before tragedy struck.

“W-Why don’t they work…”

The omega panted as her oxygen levels were cut off, and her breathing became impossible and hard for her. She clutched at the arm holding her up, but it was useless. The more she tried, the closer that hold on her neck became.

Ultimately, Rika sighed and decided to interfere in this fight before someone could die.

Even Rocxx had escaped his rage by now, and he looked a little worried to see the unknown alpha holding the other omega up by her neck.

“Oi! Are you serious? I think you sent your message just fine! Now, leave her before she dies! Oi, Andrew! Let go now.”

That seemed like a familiar name, and Rika was sure she had heard it before. But she did not remember where she had heard it; it did not matter now.

She realised that Rocxx was about to move. But his interference would likely make the situation worse for the omega, and Rika did not want it.

That was why she reached for the omega and Andrew before Rocxx could, and her hand quickly made the taller alpha let go of the omega.

As soon as she was free, the omega coughed and looked up at the alpha with a fearful look.

But she did not move away or run, which frustrated Rika with her uselessness.

“Do you have legs for decoration? If you have recovered, hurry up and get to a safe place. How long do you plan to stay here like this?”

Rika asked the omega, only for her to jolt and finally get to safety.

Seeing an omega run awakens certain tendencies in an alpha, and they give chase unconsciously. Rika wants to avoid that, so she keeps an eye on the alpha before her.

But little did she know that Andrew’s attention had shifted from that foolish omega to her.

Until now, Rika has clutched Andrew’s wrist, but Andrew has decided to return the favour and reach for Rika’s wrist instead.

His big handmade Rika’s wrist looks petite and tiny, making the alpha frown.

“Hey, you. Who are you-”

Rika was not in the mood to answer, and being grabbed like this made her even angrier.

She grabbed the hand holding her, and before the man knew it, he was being tugged and jolted until Rika had him right where she wanted – on the ground and his front with his arms behind his back.

“Don’t move or make any sudden move. I don’t know what pissed you off, but I do not want you to show me an attitude or cause trouble for my shop. Am I clear?”

Rika asked these simple questions, but she did not have much faint in the alpha in front of her.

Thankfully, the alpha sethe alpha seemed to listen to a calm downdecide, which also helped Rika relax.

“Good! Now, I will slowly let you go. If you make any sudden movement, you are done. Do you understand?”

Rika asked in a low voice, and Andrew nodded again.

She slowly let go and backed down. But Rika was ready to interfere and attack the alpha any time he showed any negative response.

Luckily, Andrew did not show such signs, but he did look embarrassed by his actions.

Once things calmed down, Daniel and other people came out to greet her.

There was a lot of damage that needed to be accounted for. There might be even more not seen, and Rocxx was responsible for that.

As much as Rika did not want to depend on him, it did not feel like she had a choice.

“Rocxx, I expect a complete rework of the shop. Also, keep your goons in check. Next time, I will not be as understanding as I am this time.”

That threat likely meant nothing to Rocxx, but it did get him chuckling, which soon became a full-blow laugh.

His subordinates seldom seemed to their leader laugh, and they all looked crept out and scared of what would happen next.

“Rika Goodwill, you sure are a daring person. If only you were not a beta…but oh well! Now I should take my leave. I will send someone to care for your shop and business soon.”

“Oh, and young master Andrew Tweten, make sure you pay us an official visit. There is a lot we need to discuss regarding territories and rules. I am sure that meeting will be worth your whole.”

With those words said, Rocxx quickly disappeared from the scene, and Rika’s nerves returned to normal.

“Fuck! That man always brings me so much trouble to deal with. Why does he even come here if all he wants to do is add to my trouble?”

Rika questioned with a fuming face because she could not handle that alpha. Rika tolerated him only because he was Emily’s cousin and conditionally helpful when he did not need to be.

Wrestling her emotions under control, Rika turned toward the other half of her problem – the alpha named Andrew.

He was still looking at Rika like he was trying to figure her out. This creeped her out, and she wanted to look away. But she felt something would happen if she looked away from the alpha before her.

“You are Rika Goodwill? That man was not kidding. This makes so much sense, but not simultaneously. But that confirms my feelings and this weird emotional shift recently.”

The alpha approached her, and Rika was instantly alerted to the danger. Her senses warned her to be careful, but there was nowhere to run.

She had no idea what kind of grudge this alpha had against her family, but Rika was unafraid. She was ready to face him head-on.

Even if the raised arms made her heart skip a beat.
