‘I-I cannot believe this is happening. Emily Steinz is the CEO of one of the biggest enterprises in the world. And she is reacting to my pheromones. If I continue this, then I can live a good life. M-My life is set-‘

The omega reached out and touched the red-haired alpha in front of her.

Even the barest contact made her heart jump, and her skin felt sweaty. She was nervous, and for a good reason.

“Alpha, why don’t you come in with me? I promise I will show you a good time.”

The omega promised, and the longer she did not get a response, the bolder she became.

She was sure that she would be able to seduce this alpha properly today.

All the other employees looked nervous and envious of her position. They also wanted to be in her place and get a chance to entice the wealthy CEO.

The omega that successfully captured Emily’s favor was on cloud nine.

‘Ha, people say that Emily Steinz is in a relationship with another alpha, but I am sure it is all just an act. Two alphas cannot be together biologically. It is impossible, especially with how they react in front of omegas. I should steal-‘

All thoughts of that omega stopped when Emily reached out to grab her hand back.

That small gesture made her heart skip a beat, and the omega was about to suggest something outrageous when Emily spoke up.

“Your employees! They sure are rude and uncultured. I mean, look at her. I gave her enough time to put her hand away, but this omega was becoming bolder by the second. You cannot blame me for what is about to happen next.”

Emily’s warning and her actions happened seconds apart.

The omega that tried to assure her quickly tried to pull back, but it was too late. Her hand ended up breaking under Emily’s pressure.

It made Omega realize that she had made a mistake. She had taken Emily’s warning as interest, which considerably cost her.

Moreover, Emily did not seem interested in looking at her. Not once had the alpha looked at anyone but the manager.

“P-Please, let me go! I promise I will never do this again. M-Manager, save me.”

The omega begged as she tried to free herself. But the more she tried, the more ruthless Emily became.

It disproved the myth that an alpha would be attracted to any omega that released pheromones. It also made many omegas who wanted to seduce a rich alpha feel ashamed.

“Miss Steinz, I know you are angry, but can you please let go of our employee? You have already punished her enough.”

Emily’s wrist was grabbed, and a hand tightened around her, making her let go.

The speaker was another omega, but the one was more outspoken and had her scent masked.

It was rare for Emily to see such bold and outspoken omegas, and Emily felt interested to know more.

But as soon as that interest flashed, it faded away as well.

After all, this female omega was not Rika; thus, Emily had no interest in her.

“Take care of your employees. Though I cannot say that you all will be employed by the end of the day, good luck surviving.”

Emily finally left the shop, and the manager collapsed as soon as she was out of sight.

Then, she turned toward her employees to tear them a new one, only to see everyone turning on her.

“This is all the manager’s fault. This would not have happened had she not asked the poor omega to ‘do anything.”

“That’s right. The manager needs to take responsibility.”

People suddenly turned on the manager, and she felt nervous.

“What did I even do? I just asked you all to do your work properly. Also, you all should have been more attuned to Lady Steinz’s emotions. You all could smell her pheromones, right? You must have realized that she was feeling annoyed.”

The manager asked in a tense voice.

“This is harassment. You all are ganging up on me just because I am a beta. You all do not appreciate how hard I am working all this time and how much I need to endure to get where I am-”

Finally, the omega who had been exploited could not hold back anymore and ended up exploding.

“It’s not about you being a beta or me being an omega. You want to make it an issue because you know you are in the wrong. You do not want to admit you made a mistake, and now we will all pay the price.”

That made all the employees quiet down.

At this point, they could only hope that Alpha Steinz would forget what happened here and that this incident would be buried.

Unfortunately for them, Emily was not someone who forgave and forgot quickly. And currently, she has a mission to carry out and a shop to ruin.

Rika felt sick as she quickly walked toward the car. She wanted to open the door, but her body recoiled as it threatened to vomit.

And yet, nothing happened when Rika tried to empty her stomach.

It was much more painful than being sick since this condition had no cure until Rika’s body calmed down.

Luckily, the cold and fresh air outside helped Rika relax. The pheromone cancelers also helped Rika mentally.

She felt exhausted as soon as her body calmed down, and her eyes finally began to moisturize due to her body’s pain.

Rika knew that Damian had followed her outside, but it felt unnecessary.

“You should have stayed with Emily in there. I am sure that someone tried seducing her as soon as she was alone. Not that I would blame them. Emily is good-looking and wealthy. She is a good catch.”

Rika made this conversation about Emily so that she could calm herself down. It seemed to be working, and Damian scoffed after hearing Rika speak. He also looked amused, and it made Rika’s heart feel lighter.
