Chapter 93: Ch 93: Not gonna buy what you are selling
“I should introduce you to these two rascals, Rika. This is Fey, and sitting beside her is her twin brother Flourite. Feel free to ignore them if you don’t want to deal with them.”
The form lady spoke with a smile, which caused Flourite to pout.
“Hey, that is not fair! How dare you say that about us? We are a delight to have around, you know.”
The male twin questioned with a pouty face while the other turned toward Rika, who had the most innocent look and tears in her eyes.
“You will not ignore us, right, Rika? After all that happened last night, how can you even consider neglecting us like this? You only used us for our bodies? How scandalise!”
Fey, the female twin, clutched her body tightly in her arms as she made an offended and caught expression.
She was playing around, but her acting looked very convincing.
Unfortunately, no one except her twin brother seemed impressed with her theatrics, which caused her to act out even more.
“Alas, it seems no one cares about us, brother. Can you feel the sharp looks we are getting?”
“Of course, I can feel it, sis! To think that even Charon abandoned us for a new person! After all, we did for her up until now! How cruel.”
“Cruel indeed.”
The twins continued to speak and make fun of Charon next.
Finally, the dorm lady seemed to have had enough and slammed her spoon on the table hard enough to make a thundering cloud echo.
“That is enough, you two. Now, could you stop playing around and finish your food? And don’t you dare cause any trouble this year? I will not be as generous with you as I was last year. Do you understand?”
The dorm lady warned the pair, but they seemed uninterested in talking to her.
Instead, they turned toward Rika with glimmering eyes. She could tell that she was their next target to annoy.
“We are not causing Rika any problem, right?”
“Rika, you like us talking to you, right? So we can continue to ask you questions and foster our relationship. You don’t mind. Please tell our form lady this.”
The twins asked, and they expected Rika to agree with them.
Their judgement was fatal, and Rika only smiled back at them.
“But you both are annoying me. Aren’t you trying to force your friendship on me when I don’t want it?”
Rika asked in an almost teasing voice. But it also held enough seriousness not to be taken lightly.
Poor twins look stamped at Rika’s behaviour.
It was the first time someone had spoken to them like this, and it stunned them enough that they could not talk correctly.
“Ah, well! Would you look at the time? I shall get going to the university now. They called me for some formalities. I will see you both during the evening.”
Rika stood up to walk out, but the twins managed to shake off their shock and accompany Rika outside.
“Hey, wait for us, Rika. We want to come with you as well.”
“We are your seniors, so we can show you around, Rika. Listen to us if you don’t want to be late.”
Charon and the dorm lady were left behind, and they could only look at Rika’s back with a sympathetic look for having the twins follow her around.
“It looks like Rika’s peacetime is over. She needs to learn how much trouble those two are. I can only pray that they do not land Rika in any trouble.”

Charon looked worried and amused at the same time. She could imagine the frustrated sigh Rika would let out once she realised she had gained two permanent tails that would not leave her alone.
It would be fun to see, but Charon was sure Rika would go insane if she constantly faced the twins.
‘Well, good luck, Rika. You will need it to regain your normal and calm life!’
Charon mentally wished Rika before she went back to finish her breakfast. She was finally free from the twins and could not be happier.
…
The twins were following her. They tracked Rika down, no matter where she went or what she did.
It made Rika feel oddly unsettled.
She knew the twins were the only people following behind her, but her instincts still warned Rika to be careful and counterattack.
But giving provocation to the twins was missing from her list of things to do.
The university was crowded today; unlike last time, there needed more space to stand appropriately.
Rika was thankful that her admission process was over quickly. This amount of crown made it impossible for her to move around.
The only good thing about this crown was that Rika could disappear into it and lose the people following her.
Rika clutched her papers harder as she went to the administration building where she had applied. She just needed to submit her form, which would end her visit.
But as soon as Rika opened the main facility door, she felt eyes on her person.
Rika looked up, only to meet eyes with the omegas she had snubbed the day before.
Those omegas also looked surprised to see Rika, but then that surprise turned to amusement and glee.
‘Am I going to get bullied in my new department? Ah fuck! I would have a rocky semester if I encountered any of these people. So, let’s do our best to avoid them.’
That was Rika’s plan. But no sooner had she stepped into the office than the small omegas group decided she was not welcome.
Someone tried to snatch her form, but Rika had faster reflexes, and she managed to clutch the paper to her chest and look offended.
“What do you want from me? I am not in the mood to buy anything if you are selling. Now, if that is all, then I will get going now. I have some work to do.”
Rika taunted the omegas, and they looked pissed off at her.
