Chapter 204: 204- That Crazy Bit*ch!
Nina was slumped over the table, her head was resting on her arms. The poor woman was lost in deep and exhausted sleep.
There were no other customers there. Only a slight hum of the air conditioner and the waiters who were shooting odd glances at her.
The woman seemed to be from a good family, yet she was sleeping here like she didn’t have a bed at home.
There was a gentle, but firm tap on her shoulder that made her startled and she bolted up. Not understanding her surroundings, she looked around and then rubbed her eyes with her fists.
“Nina!” with a confused state of mind, Nina eyed the woman.
“Geena?” Nina mumbled.
A waiter was standing next to Geena who looked worried seeing her boss like this.
“Ma’am. Excuse me,” he tried to speak in the politest way possible, “We’re about to close the restaurant.”
“I’m here to take her,” Geena gave a warning glare to the waiter, “no need to waste your time here,” She then placed her hand on Nina’s shoulder who was still blinking her eyes in confusion.
“Nina. Wake up,” she said softly, “I’ve been looking for you everywhere. This was the last place I wanted to try. Thankfully, I found you here.”
“What time is it? Goodness. I’m tired … and sleepy…” Geena heard her boss’s garbling in a groggy voice.
“It’s past midnight,” she answered her in a clipped tone.
Nina’s eyes were now scanning the empty restaurant and then it hit her. Valerie was still not here.
She went to the bathroom and never returned.
“W-where is Valerie?” she asked aloud, more to herself than Geena. Geena wasn’t aware of Valerie’s presence and found her boss fumbling for something in her purse.
Geena touched her arm gently, “Nina. What is it? Let’s go back to our hotel. You almost gave me a heart attack tonight.”
Though there was concern in her voice, but it only evoked irritation in Nina as she emptied her purse on the table and picked up her phone.
Scrolling the screen with shaky hands, she found Valerie’s number and hit the dial button.
Geena could hear the phone ringing and ringing but there was no answer.
Nina’s face twisted with anger, “Where the hell is she?” She muttered under her breath, her frustration was growing with each passing minute.
She tried calling her again, this time her jaw was clenched. Poor Geena was standing there with all the patience she could muster.
She could sense the restaurant staff muttering something among themselves. They needed to shut the restaurant and were waiting for Nina to leave.
“Ugh! Valerie! You’ll always be a brat!” Nina hissed when the call got forwarded to the voicemail. She ended the call with a sharp jab of her thumb and turned to look at Geena.
“She left for the bathroom!”
“Ok,” Geena nodded and placed her hands on Nina’s shoulders, “Let’s get you out of here. I can check the bathroom for you.”
However, she didn’t know how she would check the multiple bathrooms of a seven-star hotel. A part of her wanted to know if Valerie was OK and hoped that she wasn’t caught in some accident.
With a scowl on her face, Nina pushed her chair back and got up, gathering her things clumsily. Geena helped her and zipped the purse for her.
“She disappeared when I needed her,” Nina grumbled again slinging her purse over her shoulder. Though she always preferred carrying it in her hands like a classy chick.
Nina didn’t forget to mutter a quick “Thanks,” to the water who held the door for them. Geena nodded at the group who were eyeing them with curiosity.

The air outside was cool but didn’t do much to calm Nina’s rising anger.
“Can you believe that? We were here to meet Rafael and… she went to the bathroom. She took so long that I almost passed out. I fed her good food and tried to console her grieving heart and she…” Nina stomped over to the spot where her driver was supposed to pick her up, “Can you believe me, Geena? She left me here.”
While fuming, she again dialed Valerie’s number one last time as she reached her car. But again, there was no answer.
The car had stopped in front of them.
“Great. Just great,” Nina spat, yanking the door open, “I won’t forgive you, Valerie. I don’t know what you think of yourself. But I won’t forgive you.”
Nina slammed the door shut behind her. The driver waited for Geena to walk to the other door and take her seat.
She was now getting intrigued.
It seemed like Nina and Valerie were here on some mission. It was a seven-star hotel where Rafael was staying.
To distract Nina’s mind, Geena managed a wobbly smile on her face, “Did you meet your son? How was he?”
But it seemed like she opened another Pandora’s box. Nina tilted her head to look at her and snarled.
“We weren’t allowed to meet him. Can you believe that? The receptionist asked us to fu*ck off and didn’t even make the call to his room. Why? Because he needed privacy,” she chuckled sarcastically, “Because my son needed privacy. Hah!”
Geena was already mentally exhausted. All day, she had nothing to do except sit in the MSin office and observe the workers walking from one end to another.
She felt like a showpiece who didn’t have any purpose in life except to make Nina happy.
However, nothing had prepared her for the situation when the car slowed in front of their hotel. Nina didn’t even wait for the car to stop and opened the door.
A muffled scream escaped Geena’s lips, “Nina! Watch out!”
The driver in his panic almost shouted but Nina didn’t give a damn and stepped out.
The driver had to hit the brakes, causing the car behind them to screech.
Geena quickly opened her side of the door to follow Nina. For some reason, she looked mentally disturbed.
“Nina!”
Nina almost raced towards the elevator, “I need to go and kill that crazy bit*ch, Geena. How dare she disrespected me.”
