Chapter 319: 319- Alive?
Geena could see Ethan’s stoic face in the rearview mirror. He was visibly irritated. Maybe because Rafael didn’t let Geena sit in the passenger seat.
“I’ll sit here. Go to the backseat.”
Geena didn’t argue. The man was already without a memory, and she wanted to bring him to his family all safe and sound.
Secondly, one or two times when he called her name, he didn’t use the word Geena but called her Giana.
Ethan did try to correct him, but Rafael acted as if he was deaf. Geena was checking her phone after every few minutes.
She wanted to call Sophia. She was the only one who could gather the required people in the palace.
Marissa deserved to have her friend beside her when Geena would break the news.
She was also leaning forward again and again to check up on Rafael.
“Ethan!” she called him and then heard his groan.
“Stop the car at the coffee spot so that I can inform home. You need to contact her… remember?” She rolled her eyes meaningfully to let him know that she was talking about Valerie.

“Urgh! I’m coming. Shut up!” Sophie was just out of the shower when her phone started ringing.
The bedroom door opened, and Joseph came inside, his eyes went wide when he saw her wrapped in a towel.
“It’s Geena,” Sophie said with a frown. She met the girl at Rafael’s Remembrance ceremony at Marissa Sinclair Palace.
She asked for Sophie’s contact number as she wanted a second opinion for her heavy period treatment.
“Yes?” with the phone glued to her ear, she tried to hold the towel on her chest. Plus, she was getting conscious of Joseph’s intense gaze too.
“Dr. Sophia?”
“Hey, Geena. What’s up?”
“Dr. Sophia. I need a favor,”
“Yeah. Go ahead!”
“Dr. Sophia. I’m reaching Marissa Sinclair’s palace in about two hours. In the meantime, can you make sure to take kids away from that place?” Sophie stared at her phone and thought Geena must have gone nuts.
“I know what you must be thinking… but whatever is about to happen there, it might not be good for their mental well-being.”
Now, since when had Geena gotten a doctorate degree in mental health?
“Why would I do that?” Sophie again tried to clutch the front knot of the towel. The heavy garment was slipping down, and Joseph was doing nothing to help her.
To make matters worse, he sat at the study table and started staring at her with his fist under his chin.
“I might kill you,” she mouthed at him and even missed what Geena was telling her on the call.
“Sorry, Geena. Are you telling me something about cramps? Yes, it does affect the memory. You need to do something about the pain otherwise…”
There was so much distortion in the line that the call got disconnected.
Sophie went ahead and slapped on Joseph’s shoulder, “Shame on you. What kind of a partner you are? Leaving me helpless.”

“Yeah. Helpless in a towel,” he joked, “who was on the call?”
“Geena!”
“Why was she calling you?”
“I don’t know,” she shrugged and moved her head hard to give a shake to her hair, “I hate it when people take detailed consultations on the phone and then expect me to suggest medicines based on the phone calls.”
Joseph got up and gave a little tug to the towel that made it slip down a little exposing half of her bo*obs, “Behave yourself!” she told him sternly and wanted to kiss him when her phone started ringing again.
“It’s again Geena,” she muttered and took the call, “Yes, Geena,” she said with a sigh.
She didn’t want to sound rude, but she wanted to tell Geena that a period consultation wasn’t suitable on the phone.
“Dr. Sophie?”
“Listen, Geena,” she whispered into the phone, “Services can be free, but you can’t avail all of them on the phone. Better meet me in person and then we’ll see what we can do.”
The towel that was slipping down due to its weight was tiring her arm now. She wanted to free her hand.
Joseph must have understood her problem because he raised his hands, offering his support silently. But Sophia ignored him.
Taking his help for holding the towel?
No, he couldn’t be trusted.
“Dr. Sophie. You need to let me speak. Your friend may need your support on this,” Sophie’s brows knitted into several lines.
Marissa needed support? For what? Abigail’s surgery was planned for next week.
“What are you talking about, Geena?” she moved to the corner of the room when the male helper came inside pushing the food cart that had coffee with scones and granola bars.
“Dr. Sophie. He is alive!” She heard Geena’s whisper and was now one hundred and ten percent sure that there was some problem with her head.
“Who is alive?” She also whispered back mockingly.
“Alex!”
Now this was getting too much for Sophie, “Yes, I know. Alex, Abi, Ariel, and Marissa … all are alive. Anyways thanks for informing me. I need to have my coffee, Geena…”
“I’m talking about Rafael!” Geena spoke quickly before Sophie could cut the call.
“Yeah … he is also alive … I know… WHAT???? Are you out of your fu*cking mind… Geena?” the servant who was pouring coffee in the cups, his hands shook a little bit in fright.
Mr. Joseph’s fiancée usually seemed to be a sweet lady but right now she had started acting like a witch.
“I swear, Dr. Sophia. This is the reason I’m calling you… I went to Ashua village with Ethan and there he was, living with a family. He has lost his memory. Your friend will need your support. For that, you need to send the kids away for some time,”
She was giving instructions to Sophie, but Dr. Sophia had stopped listening. Only one thing was echoing in her head.
Rafael was alive.
Rafael was alive.
Without thinking for a minute, she held her phone and clutched it to her chest not understanding why the servant and Joseph gasped together.
“Honey!” Joseph rushed to her with a red face, “Your towel!”
Sophie looked down with a frown and was horrified when found the towel pooling around her feet.
