Chapter 361: 361- Shane’s Women
Nina lay on her bed at the rented place. She didn’t change her clothes, nor she bothered to take off her sandals.
All this time, she had been a fool to think that Shane might return to her. He had a family, living in the suburbs of Sangua.
The six-year-old boy had given her heart palpitations. He was Shane’s son!
“Good, god!” she got up from the bed, “Shane is the father of a boy. Weren’t we allowed to have hookups? When did Shane ask me to go for a real family outside marriage?”
No matter what she would do. The damage was done.
Even if she would prove in court that Shane cheated on her, still she wouldn’t get half of the property.
Now Shane had an heir, and Nina couldn’t get Sinclair property in her name.
“I thought you were a fool, Shane. But no. You are a cunning asshole,” She muttered in the quiet room, wishing that Shane was here so that she could kill him.
What had he done to her? She was in a fix.
Her phone was pinging continuously, getting messages from someone. But Nina wasn’t interested in reading those. She didn’t want to talk to anyone.
The envy she felt after spending some time in that house was making her heartburn.
Sheila seemed so relaxed and so happy and… too beautiful.
A simple homemaker who was content to be a housewife.
This unbearable pain in Nina’s head was making it difficult for her to focus. The phone suddenly started ringing and she wanted to throw it away.
She lowered its volume to mute and saw Gabriel’s name flashing on her phone screen.
Groaning to herself, she received the call and snapped in irritation, “What!”
“Nina?” she felt more frustrated after hearing his voice.
“What do you want, Gabriel?” she needed someone to lash out and poor Gabriel became an easy target.
“I’ve been sending you texts. Why were you not responding?”
His question made her madder, making her realize that she had no one who could keep a check on her.
No one wanted to know if she was alright.
Shane left that important event earlier than usual because he wanted to see his family. In the past, he used to be the last man to walk out of such events.
“Nina, tell me where you’re,” Gabriel was asking her, and she wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone.
“Gabriel. Not now. And please stop calling me,” she said curtly and started chewing her lips. She tried to hold back the tears that were stinging behind her eyelids, and she didn’t want to let Gabriel know how vulnerable she felt.
“Did you go there again?” Gabriel asked her gently and Nina closed her eyes. How well he knew her.
If only he was honest with her.
“Answer me, Nina,” she opened her eyes at this question when this thought crossed her mind.
“Gabriel! You knew?”
“Knew what? About Sheila?” when Nina didn’t utter another word he spoke again, “Are you asking about… their …” he trailed off.

“How many kids do they have, Gabriel?” she asked him bluntly, “Don’t hide anything from me.”
Gabriel heaved a long sigh before he said, “Where are you? I need to meet you.”
Nina stayed silent for a few moments and then mumbled, “I’ll send you the location.”

The sound of the coffee machine filled the silence of the room. None of them was speaking. Nina took a shaky breath, her eyes darting to the man who just got here.
They both sat quietly in this small cottage that had a poor lighting system.
“I’m so stupid!” she chuckled as if she wanted to laugh at herself, “How long did you know?” her whisper sliced through the air.
“From the start,” he admitted guiltily. His messy hair was falling over his forehead as he stared at her.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Gabriel gave her a funny look, but Nina cursed under her breath.
“Fu*ck!” her lips tightened as her fists clenched on her sides. She was pacing around in the room while he was seated on a chair, “So you decided to stay quiet about it? You just sat there while…”
Gabriel started shaking his head, “Hold on, Nina. Hell! Don’t pin this on me. Check your call logs. I tried to contact you from different numbers, sent several messages to you. And what you did?” he got up and walked up to her, “You cut me from everywhere.”
Nina paced towards the kitchen counter to pour coffee into the cups. In agitation, she moved her suitcase that was lying there on the floor.
“You keep cheating on me and expect me not to react? Who am I? A cow like Naila? Who doesn’t know anything other than giving birth to pups?” she banged the cups on the countertop and poured the liquid in it.
If Gabriel didn’t like her verbal attack on his wife, he didn’t let it show. Nina least cared about his feelings.
“I should’ve known. I should’ve known that there was someone else. The fu*cker separated the rooms because he wanted a clear way to meet her. Wow!” she slapped her hands on the counter and leaned ahead to rest her forehead against it.
“Nina…” Gabriel was quick to get to her, but she raised her finger, asking him silently to stop, “Don’t come any closer, Gabriel.”
She straightened and looked into his blue eyes, “She is a blonde like you. At least Shane and I share something in common,” she giggled, wiping the moistness off her eyes, “How do you know her?”
“Know her?” he asked dumbly.
“That woman. Sheila. How do you know her? Or did Shane introduce you two?”
Her eyes glued to Gabriel’s Adam’s apple when he gulped hard, “No. Shane hasn’t told anyone. It’s Naila who got to know it first and told me.”
Nina’s eyes went wide in surprise, “Excuse me! Naila?”
“Yeah,” he nodded, “She came to know about it, and they became best friends.”
“Whoa!” Nina whistled, “Naila is best friends with Sheila? Nice! She likes befriending with Shane’s women! Interesting!”
