Giana wiped her face and then turned to look at the motherly face of Sambal, “You’ve been such a gentle soul who did nothing bad to anyone, Mother. I have one request. Please don’t disclose my name to anyone who might try to do a background check on me.”

Mother Sambal got worried, “B…but why, child…”

“Because I’m not planning to go to the outside world as Giana. I’ll change it to Geena,” She squeezed Mother Sambal’s hand, “Please, Mother. Don’t let anyone know that I’m Giana. I want to be Geena for a few years.”

Sister Sambal cupped her cheek, “My dearest! Your parents gave you a perfect beautiful name.”

“I know and I’ve got my own reasons,” she told the older woman who nodded at her.

“Fine!” she at last agreed with a tired sigh and Giana hugged her.

“I’ll miss you,” Geena said with a teary laugh and felt Sambal’s hand on her back.
