Chapter 455: 455- Stay!
Aniya stretched in bed with a smile. Last night George brought her to his apartment, and they made wild love. She turned and found him sleeping peacefully, lying on his tummy.
Her hand reached out and moved the thick lock of black hair off his forehead. It plopped back on his face.
Aniya chuckled and again tried moving it off when suddenly he held her wrist and kissed her hand, taking her by surprise.
“You’re awake!” A frown settled on her face.
He slid towards her and propped on his elbows to kiss her lips gently. Aniya’s arms were around his neck at once, pulling him closer as she deepened the kiss. George hummed in satisfaction, his fingers holding her bo*ob possessively, kneading it lightly.
Aniya wanted to make love again. Last night was amazing but the morning seemed more magical and more promising.
“You’re quite a troublemaker in the morning, aren’t you?” he murmured against her lips, his voice still thick with sleep.
Aniya’s fingers threaded through his messy hair, “You were the one pretending to be asleep,” she said with a teasing smile.
George grinned sleepily, “I was waiting to see if you would spare my hair or keep playing with it.”
She gulped while tracing her finger on his neck and then his collarbone. They were still nak*ed under the sheets, “I … I like touching you, George…”
She didn’t know if it was sensible to admit it, but she needed to say it. He caught her hand and started kissing her fingertips one by one, “Can your fingers stop doing that to my heart?” he kissed her palm while laughing.
They fell into comfortable silence where he was still feeling her hand on his lips when suddenly his expression turned serious. He looked up at her, his fingers tracing the side of her face, “You didn’t eat dinner last night, little dove.”
Aniya blinked at the sudden change in his mood, “Yeah,” she shrugged, “I wasn’t kind of hungry.”
He bolted up, running a hand through his hair, “You must be starving. Come on, get up. Let’s get you something to eat.”
Aniya wanted to tease him about cooking the meal again in his kitchen, “I’m fine, George,” she sighed.
“No, you aren’t,” he said firmly, “Now go and shower,” he leaned over and brushed a kiss on her forehead, “Let me fix something for you.”
It warmed her heart that the CEO of the Star Corps was willing to cook for her. She watched him with quiet amusement as he got up and picked up his boxer from the floor.
She didn’t want to move from this bed. She wished she could spend a lifetime, lying beside him.
She reached out and tugged at his wrist, “Five more minutes?”
Wearing a t-shirt along with the boxers, he shook his head with a smile, “Nope. You’re getting up.”
“Gosh! You’re bossy!” she finally sat up with a pout, wrapping a sheet around herself. He had already left the room allowing her some privacy.

After taking a shower, when she came out of the bedroom, she found him setting plates on the table. His wet hair was a telltale sign that he had already taken the shower and was now busily taking out the sandwiches and croissants from the brown bag. There were several paper bags placed on the table.
The moment his gaze landed on her, his eyes lit up, “Come over. Our breakfast has arrived. I thought to get it delivered instead of trying something new in the kitchen.”
They had breakfast while chatting about politics, “You don’t seem comfortable talking about your family,” his remark made her go still, “But why you didn’t attend school.”
His tone wasn’t insulting, it was rather inquisitive.
She raised her shoulder with a nervous smile, “I wasn’t a good student. I never responded in my classes, nor did I ever complete my homework,” she took a big bite of her butter croissant, “My parents were getting tired of receiving continuous calls from school. I was bullied nonstop. So, maybe that’s the reason…” she trailed off before taking a sip of coffee from her disposable cup.
“Your parents never tried to home-school you?” he probed a little further.
Aniya couldn’t tell him much. Her parents and Dorian Maxwell must be looking for her crazily. But she did need his help to locate Lisa and Liam.
“I …” she placed her cup down and looked for more appropriate words, “Can you look for someone on my behalf? Like she is a good friend of mine, but I couldn’t talk to her ever since I stepped in Sangua City.”

George was observing her face keenly, “Yes,” he nodded and placed a sandwich piece on her plate, “That’s doable for me. Who is this? A friend?”
Aniya nodded and started nibbling on her sandwich, “Yeah. She is my best friend. I need to know where she is. There is no response from her side. She isn’t answering my calls or messages. I don’t know who to ask … for help.”
George nodded in understanding, “Don’t worry. I’ll see what I can do,” He offered her sincerely.
Aniya was still stuck in the thought if she did the right thing to involve him. By now, Dorian Maxwell must be looking for her in other countries as well. After all, he bought her from her parents. He would never let her live in peace so easily.
After breakfast, George settled beside her on the couch and turned on the TV. Aniya didn’t take the time to lean her head on his shoulder. He didn’t push her, and she felt his cheek on her head.
“I think I should go back to the hostel,” her eyes were glued to the TV screen when she said that.
His arm was at once around her, “Why? Stay here. Weekend has just started.”
Aniya looked up, only to find him watching her with intensity. Before she could say anything, he leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.
His lips lingered there for a moment, “Stay,” he murmured against her skin.
