Chapter 503: 503- Shove It Up!
George finally let go of her hand when they reached his office.
“Ariel will be here soon,” he explained and pulled a seat for her in his office. Abigail was dreading facing Paige but relaxed a bit when a new face welcomed her with a smile.
“Where is Paige?” She asked him when he leaned his hip against the desk and picked up the intercom.
“I almost fired her,” he flashed a smile her way, “Don’t worry. She can live in the hostel until she finds a new job.”
Abigail was observing him when he tucked the receiver in the crook of the neck and asked someone to bring coffee.
“You look beautiful,” he at last turned his attention to her face and smiled warmly, “But who am I kidding? Right? Your boyfriend… the one who just returned into your life must have already told you that.”
Abigail narrowed her eyes and stared at him boldly, “Not only him but dozens of others who aren’t even my boyfriends, have told me the same thing,” she told him sweetly fluttering her lashes, “Just like you did.”
For a moment, shock was registered on his face but then he threw back his head and laughed loudly. Not able to take it anymore, he leaned down to hold her face, resting his forehead against hers.
“I missed you, Anaya,” She stayed silent for a moment and then sighed.
“I missed you too, George,” she told him softly.
“Do you miss me in bed?”
Abigail’s eyes went wide, she pushed the chair back and tried to stand but his hands were immediately on her shoulders.
“Sit down!” She ignored his amused tone__ she wanted to punch him in the face.
“Let me go!” she hissed trying to push him away.
“How can I?” his voice had turned serious, “I can’t even breathe without you then how can I let you go?
Abigail raised her eyes and felt her breath caught in her throat. That amusement was gone from his face and now it was replaced by something raw.
“George__” she started, but he didn’t let her finish. Instead, he kissed her cheek softly.
“Don’t push me away,” he murmured, kissing her other cheek, his one hand moving from his shoulders to her neck, “What do you expect me to do? Walk away just like that?”
She swallowed hard, her heart pounding, “George…” her eyes darted to the door, “Please…”
He kissed her forehead gently.
“You don’t get it. Do you?” he asked her softly, removing the stray hair strand from her forehead and twirling it around his finger, “I’m nothing without you, little dove.”
He pressed his forehead against hers, “Stop pretending, sweetheart. What is holding you back? Tell me. All you have to do is tell me, Abigail Sinclair and I will offer the world to you. I would go to the moon and back for you.”
He shook his head with a chuckle but there was no humor in it, “Keep pretending that you don’t care when I know you do, love.”
“I’m falling apart… every time you expect me to walk away, I fall apart, little dove.”
Abigail’s fingers curled into fists. She wanted to fight him, to shove him away and yell at him to stop saying things that made her heart ache.
But…
But on the other hand, she wanted to melt into him. She wanted to tell him that she felt the same.
His thumb brushed over her cheek, tilting her face up, “Say it, sweetheart,” the endearment caused some giddiness in her chest, “Say you don’t want me. Look me in the eye and tell me and… and get done with it.”

She opened her mouth and tried to speak but the words wouldn’t come out.
And then suddenly the door swung open, and Ariel stepped inside.
Abigail panicked and tried to pull back, but George didn’t budge. He didn’t even look guilty. Instead, he turned his head slightly towards Ariel, his expression was completely unbothered.
Abigail on the other hand, was mortified, “A_Ariel… George…” she started pushing him in panic.
“Look at you two!” her gaze flickered between the two of them, her lips twitching in clear amusement, “Should I come back later?”
The worst thing was, she might sound happy but there was clear shock evident in her eyes.
George finally stepped back with a smirk and Abigail hurriedly got on her feet. She felt like someone was choking her. She quickly tried to fix her hair not looking at her sister.
“We were just talking, Ariel,” George told her in a normal tone, “Coffee is about to be served. Why don’t you take a seat?”
George could feel Ariel’s gaze on him, but his eyes stayed on the woman who had stolen his heart.
Abigail shot him a glare, a quiet warning that he should look somewhere else. He was too composed for Abigail’s liking.
“I … I think… we should go home,” Abi gave a faltered smile to her sister, “Daddy asked me to come home early so that I can meet some more lawyers.”
Ariel rolled her lips with a nod, “Fine… if that’s what you want.”
She fixed her leather bag’s strap on her shoulder and turned to leave the room, “Bye, Georgie,” she waved at him.
“Hey. I ordered coffee!” George reminded them but was stunned when Abi answered instead of her sister.
She leaned into him and whispered, “Shove that coffee up your ass!”
Ariel was already out of the office, and all George wanted to do was pull the woman of his dreams into his arms and kiss her senselessly.
She was turning away with an annoyed look when George quickly held her elbow, “Wait,” she turned her face to look at him,
“Since you seem to adore my ass so much how about I take my pants off and you shove anything you want up there, darling. And in return, I can shove my dick up your… ouch!”
He left her when she brutally pinched his arm, but his shoulders were also shaking with mirth.
Abigail wanted to be angry at him but when she left his office there was a big grin on her face.
