Chapter 513: EPILOGUE:
With the loud music, the doors to the church opened, and Abigail Sinclair entered holding her father’s arm.
Even with the veil covering her face, everyone could sense her radiant glow. It was weird that while walking down the aisle, she remembered how she was about to walk into a similar church for Dorian Maxwell.
It took all her willpower not to shudder at the memory. Thank God Liam helped her that day. She raised her eyes and found Liam, seated in the front row with a mischievous grin. He was thinking the same.
Abigail closed her eyes and sighed before he eyes turned to the man who was waiting for her on the stage. Celine, Ariel, and Lisa had already taken their places as bridesmaids.
She was pulled back into reality when Rafael spoke to George, while handing her over to him, “Take care of her.”
“I will!” George assured him with a solemn smile.
Abi climbed the stairs and stood beside him. George didn’t leave her hand until the priest announced that now he could kiss the bride.
Their close friends hooted when George not only kissed her but also prolonged it.
“I love you, Mrs. George Donovan,” He told her with a gentle smile, and Abigail’s heart skipped a beat at the sound of it.
Mrs. George Donovan.
“I love you too, Mr. George Donovan,” she whispered and then lifted herself on her toes to kiss his chin.
The couple didn’t give a damn what everyone was doing around them. They were too busy, looking into each other’s eyes.

At the grand reception, Abigail was over the moon when she met Uncle Joseph and Aunt Sophie. Their son couldn’t make it to the wedding, but they flew in just to meet her.
“I can’t believe you’re back, Abi,” she had told her in a teary voice.
The grand hall was buzzing with laughter, music, and clinking of glasses.
Guests were enjoying the lavish dinner and were happy with the fact that the media were not there to disturb the celebration.
George and his bride made their way through the crowd, stopping at each table to thank their guests. Every few minutes, George would lift Abigail’s hand and press a soft kiss on her fingers.
“You’re breathtaking, Mrs. Donovan,” he said, brushing his thumb over her knuckles.
“Yeah,” she rolled her eyes, “You’ve said that several times already.”
“And will say it a hundred times more,” he smirked, pulling her to him to kiss her lips.
“Oh, man!” Angela nudged Ariel, “He’s completely whipped,” she muttered, giving a disappointed look to Alex, who wasn’t even looking at her.
Ariel grinned, “And my sister deserves every bit of it.”
George and Abigail were making their way to another table when George suddenly stopped, his eyes wandering over Abigail’s face, looking for signs of exhaustion.
His bride seemed to be losing energy, “Ladies and gentlemen,” he announced, his arm tightening around her waist, “My beautiful wife needs rest,” he looked down at her gorgeous face, “We have an early flight to catch in the morning.”
“F… flight?” she blinked at him.
“I booked us a honeymoon in Switzerland, love. You need a full night’s rest before we leave,” he kissed her head, “We are spending this night at the hotel.”
Celine, who was standing nearby, gasped, “Switzerland? That’s so romantic!”
They met Rafael and Marissa, whose eyes were wet.
“Don’t worry, Daddy. I’ll be back to our house… soon,” she promised, kissing their cheeks.

“I know, Princess,” Rafael nodded at George, “Be good to her.”
George dropped another kiss on his wife’s hand before scooping her up and taking her to the exit.
Among those warm goodbyes, Abigail had a feeling. Her family would cry once they went back home.
She was hell right.

After helping her out of her wedding dress, George carried her to the hotel’s bathroom to soak her body in the bathtub, where he had already filled warm water with fragrant rose petals.
“Umm,” Abigail moaned with half-opened eyes.
“Liked it?” George asked her before joining her in the soothingly warm water.
Abigail swallowed hard. His closeness and this intimacy…
Gosh! She wanted to attack him.
What was this baby doing to her body?
“George…” she whispered, and her husband understood.
“My love…” he kissed her temple from behind. Abi wanted to turn around, but he stopped her by placing his hands on her waist, “Let me change the positions, you sexy mama.”
Abigail couldn’t even laugh. She chewed her lips to control the emotions, his na*ked body was evoking in her.
“What would I have done if you hadn’t found me and come to me…” she muttered, looking into his eyes. Her heart sank at the thought of how she was letting him slip, thinking that he was involved with her sister.
What a fool I was! I would have died without him.
“Hey, love,” George wiped her eyes and then kissed the tears away, “No crying tonight, okay?” he warned her gently and pulled her to him.
Abigail felt weird. First, she wanted him to make love to her, and now she wanted to cry on his chest.
Or maybe both?
The moment their chests bumped, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her body into him.
“Abigail!” George groaned in a breathless whisper, “I want to be inside you.”
Abigail smiled secretly with tear droplets still on her cheeks, “Then who is stopping you, husband?”
George thought he heard her wrong, “What did you call me?” he pulled back to look at her face.
“I said,” she brought her mouth close to his ear, “Fu*ck me, husband!”
In the next few minutes, she was holding the edge of the bathtub tightly while he was pumping inside her.
After that, he took her to bed and made slow love, taking his sweet time in worshipping every part of her body.
Abigail protested and screamed in frustration at this agony he was causing her, but George did what he wanted to do.
And that was to give her pleasure that no man could ever give to his woman.
After sheer torture, when he entered and started moving inside her, Abigail’s nails dug into his shoulder blades.
“I can never get enough of you, my love,” he said while moving, “Tell me, you love me, Abigail. Tell me.”
“I… I love you… I love and will always love you all my life… with all my heart. Will you always love me?” she asked him innocently, and that was enough to shatter his self-control.
“I will love you till my last breath, little dove…” he panted right before her climax.

Holding a coffee cup in his hand, Alex was about to close the living room door when he saw a familiar figure sitting on the bench in the middle of the lawn.
“Ariel?” He muttered.
There were still guests staying at their place. Aunt Sophie, Uncle Joseph, Lisa and Liam, Angela, George’s father, and his stepmother.
After returning home, he and Ariel had to console their parents who were all emotional after Abi headed for the five-star hotel for her wedding night.
“Come on, Mom. She is going on her honeymoon. Not on some war,” Ariel had tried to crack a joke.
But all of them knew this was not the reason.
Abigail came back to them after so many years, and her happy face was enough to make her parents cry.
Now that their parents had retired to their room, what was Ariel doing here?
“What are you doing in the darkness?” his sudden voice made her stiffen, “Fighting the mosquitoes?”
She didn’t turn around and Alex noticed how she quickly wiped her face.
“Damn,” he cursed under his breath and sat beside her, “You are crying because Abi got married? Now, why are you all being so emotional?”
He threw his arm around her shoulders and pulled her to him. She chuckled and sniffled her nose, “I’m not being emotional,” she gave a playful punch on his arm and then leaned her head against his chest.
“Her wedding kept my days and nights so busy with all the arrangements that I don’t know what to do anymore… I’m missing her…”
Alex stared at her blonde hair and tensed slightly, “Yeah. I’m missing her too.”
They sat there like this quietly until Alex shifted uncomfortably, “Ariel,” he hesitated, “Are you sure that… this is the reason you are crying?”
He felt her body go still for a moment, and then she shook her head, “Of course. What else can be there?”
Alex nodded and rested his cheek on her head.
“You know if something is bothering you, you can always share with me… like we are friends before siblings. Right?” he couldn’t see her face clearly due to the darkness.
“Of course. We’re friends,” he saw her head nodding, and sighed.
But then something was really disturbing about all this.
“Ariel?”
“Hmm?”
“Oh My God!”
“What?” Ariel at last raised her face to look at her brother.
“You… you liked George! Didn’t you?”
Ariel’s hand flew to her mouth as she turned to look at him, “Are you crazy? Go to bed, Alex…”
For several minutes, Alex couldn’t move.
When Ariel didn’t get any reaction, she got up, “I think I should go to my room.”
Alex was quick to hold her hand, but she didn’t turn around. Nor did she try to free her hand.
“Ariel!” he called her name gently.
“How could I?” she said softly, “How could I tell her that I loved George when she was staring at me with that fear in her beautiful dark eyes…”
“Ariel!” With a speeding heartbeat, Alex got up and rounded her to face her.
A sob escaped her lips as she raised her tear-filled eyes to look at him, “She thought… she thought that since I look like her, I’ll treat her the same way. She thought…she thought… that I was no different than Valerie… I had to show her… I had to show her, Alex that not every blonde is bad… not every person is evil. The world still has some good-natured people. There is still hope…”
“Goodness, Ariel… why… why didn’t you tell me?” Alex thought his heart would explode. His sister. Ariel Sinclair.
She was in love with George Donovan. But she didn’t let it show on her face. She prepared for her sister’s wedding, torturing herself daily, every minute, every moment.
“Why?” he didn’t know when he started crying silently, “Why, Ariel?” he wished he could take away his sister’s pain.
“Since childhood… we were friends. I don’t know when I started falling for him…” she wiped her face, “I’m sorry… I’m sorry for making you cry, Alex. But I … I was getting tired… I needed someone… someone to rely on. A shoulder to cry on…” she chuckled, and Alex pulled her into a tight hug.
“You’re a fool, Ariel. You are nothing like Valerie. Don’t compare yourself with her. You are the best human being I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Ariel was sobbing quietly in his chest.
“Alex. How…how will I ever be able to forget him?” she asked him brokenly, and he tightened his grip around her.
His sister was in pain. When Abigail needed him, he offered her, his help. Now she had George Donovan by her side.
At this moment, Ariel needed him the most. He was supposed to offer her all the support he could as a brother.
They stayed like this for a few more minutes, until Ariel at last drew back and wiped her face with an embarrassing grin, “I’m sorry… I … didn’t know…”
“Don’t be sorry, Ariel. I wish I could tell how proud I am… of you.”
Ariel nodded and then stepped back, “I think I should go back to my room.”
“To cry more?” The words were out before he could stop himself.
This time she shook her head, “Don’t worry, Alexander Sinclair. At least, tonight, I should be allowed to channel my pain into tears. I promise it will get better.”
Alex hardly believed her.
He knew nothing would dim the pain unless another man entered her life who was better than George.
He hugged Ariel to his side, and they walked towards their house, silently offering their support to each other.
If George and Abi were planning to stay here, then there were chances that Ariel might limit her visits for a little while.
Alex saw Ariel going to her room.
With a heavy heart, he said a little prayer for her.
The love one gives to the universe always finds its way back to you. The universe always returns it when you least expect it. I’m sure you will find your love soon, Ariel.
Once you do, you will forget George Donovan. Someday, you might look back and laugh loudly, thinking how silly you were.
Ariel! My sister! I hope you find that love soon.
Just like Dr. Sophia did. Just like our mom did.
