MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM - Chapter 130
Chapter 130: The Hidden Realm
The Hidden Realm
Regardless, Constell’s goal was clear, go to the center and acquire as many resources as possible. And try and acquire the Cryo Core in the process, or as many that showed up anyway.
It was a strange thing, just how easily the three Scions had seemingly reached a consensus.
Their clans were the biggest of their grade. As such, they were almost always at odds with each other. From strength to intelligence and everything in between, they always competed with one another.
They had been in this cycle for years, and they all knew each other quite well. That said, they were not friends by any means.
In fact, if possible, Constella would kill the other two the instant she got the chance, and she was sure it was the same for them. However, the only reason such a thing hadn’t occurred was for two reasons.
First of all, they simply couldn’t. At the very least, none of them had an effective way to kill the other two without repercussions. The three of them were very strong, and a battle to the death meant that all cards would be played. They didn’t know all of each other’s secrets, so they couldn’t guarantee that they could kill each other. And even if they could, the losses they would suffer would be terrible.
In short, they didn’t have a sure-fire way to kill each other, and even if they did, the possible losses weren’t worth it.
As for the other reason, we’ll, it went without saying that the three of them were treasured greatly by their clans, and if any harm were to befall them, there would be hell to pay.
Sure, the three clans were of similar levels when it came to overall strength, as such, they acted as each other’s checks and balances. And so even though the three Scions fought from time to time, as long as none of them died or any permanent damage was dealt, it didn’t cause that much of an issue. However it would be a different story if it was a lesser clan that had the audacity to harm any of the Scions.
However, if for any reason a Scion was killed, then all hell would break loose, and the clan that lost their Scion would stop at absolutely nothing to avenge them.
This raised the second reason as to why the Scions couldn’t kill each other. Sure, they were immensely powerful and talented, but against an entire clan, even if their clan could protect them, things like loss of life and resources would be too great of a loss.
So even though they hated each other’s guts, they never did everything in their power to kill each other unless the situation warranted it.
As such, there was a strange ceasefire between each of them.
‘That said, that Vazar is planning something.’ Constella frowned ever so slightly. The pale youth always made her feel uncomfortable, but she was certain that he had something he was keeping under wraps that probably wasn’t very tasteful, and chances were that the Cryo Cores were a part of this plan of his.
‘He acted quite suspicious from the start, so either it was an act, or he did it to goad me and Jenny. He knows we’re smart enough to tell if he’s trying to do something to throw us off, and he knows that I know.’ It was a bit unsettling, granted, she had plans of her own, and she was certain Jenny had plans of her own as well. They were all conspiring in the ways they could, it was simply a matter of who was the better schemer of the three.
‘Hm?’ At that moment, Constella tilted her head, a touch of confusion in her eyes. And a moment later, one of the people in charge of controlling the vessel they were on spoke.
“My lady, our scanners have detected traces of a recent battle.” He spoke as he looked down at his control panel with a bit of a dubious expression.
Constella naturally noticed this and had an idea as to why he had such an expression, but she still asked.
“What’s the issue?” The handler hesitated for a moment before answering.
“We detected the traces of battle via our scanners, but, there are two things of note. For one, the battle seemed to be recent. It happened at least an hour ago, and yet there are absolutely no energy traces whatsoever. Besides the natural ice Mana in the atmosphere, there doesn’t appear to be any sort of disturbances.” Constella nodded. One of her racial abilities was a very high level of Spatial awareness, allowing her to detect things from far away. As such, she noticed the signs of battle, though not all of it since her spatial awareness wasn’t omnipotent, as such, she couldn’t grasp the full extent of the damage the battle caused, which was important for her impending reaction. She was confused by the lack of energy traces, but she chalked it up to it being a special method one of the beings that had fought used either a special ability or item.
“And the other thing?” She enquired. Once more, the Handler hesitated, even longer than before, then he typed something on the control panel, and then a large projection appeared. It looked like a long line that had a circle at the end.
“This is…?” Constella raised a brow and the Handler took a breath.
“This… seems to be the full extent of the damage caused by whatever was fighting. The line… stretches on for nearly a light year. And the hole… Its depth is inestimable from where we are at the moment…” When he finished, Constella’s expression turned grim.
She was silent for a moment, then she gave the order.
“Don’t bother investigating, change our course away from that location, we’ll go around.” She said decisively and the Handler as well as all the other people in the room happily carried out the order. No one was interested in getting close to such damage. Who knew if whatever caused it was still there? And the fact that there were no energy traces implied that whatever caused it could possibly erase whatever energy signatures they had.
With that thought, Constella also instructed her people to increase the strength of their sensors to maximum capacity. She doubted it would amount to anything, but it made her feel somewhat assured. Granted, she wasn’t scared, but she was definitely wary.
She was capable of such destruction herself, but the thing about this hidden realm was that everything was numerous times more durable than what one would find in an ordinary world. Roughly 90 times. So she would have to expend quite a bit of energy to cause such destruction.
She had no idea if it was the same for the mysterious entity that caused the destruction, or if they could unleash levels of similar destruction with ease.
She still needed to conserve her strength for when she reached the center of the hidden realm as that was when the real battle would begin, it would prove to be extremely tough and draining, and she couldn’t afford to get seriously injured or worse at this stage. So she decided to play her cards smartly and left the place immediately.

Unknown to her, above the entourage of flying vessels, a masked individual could be seen staring down on the rapidly retreating group. Not an ounce of his Aura or even his presence available to be sensed.
‘How convenient for one of the Scions to pass by this place.’ He smiled behind his mask. He had sensed the approach of the ships not long after he had killed Shim- the Drake. And decided to wait for them.
When he saw that it was the entourage of the Scion Constella, he couldn’t help but be happy with his luck. There were still things he wanted to find out from the Scions, so one of them coming to his position was a great opportunity.
As such, when the ships passed by, he quietly imprinted a portion of his will on the ship to allow himself the ability to spy on the Scion and continue to gather information on her as well as information from the other Scions.
Moreover, despite his will being away from him, it still fell under the jurisdiction of his mask, as such, he didn’t need to worry about it being discovered. As long as he didn’t try anything too open that is.
‘Well, since that’s done, I should probably move to the next area.’ He pondered. After killing the Drake, he decided to use his perception to its limit and spread it out for several light years. He filtered out the unnecessary information to avoid overloading his brain. After all, he wasn’t in the Haven of the Enlightened to help calm his mind and speed up his thoughts.
Still, it was enough for him to find several spots that met his requirements to serve as spots for his fortresses. And without wasting anymore time, he teleported to the next one.
