MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM - Chapter 167
Chapter 167: Excitement II
Excitement II
‘She’s injured.’ Constella analyzed Jenny briefly as the groups converged. However, one didn’t need to look intently before making such an assumption.
Still, it was easy for her to pretend like she was injured to make them drop their guards. But at their level, their attention to detail was simply unmatched.
From the way she stiffly moved her arms, every involuntarily twitch, every tense from a movement that seemed too harsh, and so on. All those details let Constella know that Jenny wasn’t faking as she was indeed injured, but what could have injured the short girl to such an extent was beyond her.
She made a few assumptions, but ultimately she decided to place the blame on the period of Chaos that had occurred.
However, unlike Vazar, Constella wasn’t elated, if anything, she was more wary than anything else. This is because, while Vazar was the truly unstable one, Jenny was the type of person who had the ‘I’ll take you with me.’ Mindset.
If she was hurt and Vazar and Constella tried to jump her, she wouldn’t hesitate to use all her cards to kill or mortally injure at least one of them.
As such, Constella eradicated any thoughts of taking advantage of the girl’s weakness to take her out.
On the other hand, Jenny did not bother to hide the look of irritation on her face. Even if she couldn’t read their minds, she could easily tell that they were observing her condition and contemplating what to do about it.
She hated being in the vulnerable position, especially in front of these two, so if they tried anything. She would make sure there was hell to pay.
‘Beyond that though, that Vazar guy… seems unscathed.’ She thought with narrowed eyes.
She’d been hoping that she wouldn’t be the only one to have faced a loss when the hidden realm went haywire so that the playing ground would be somewhat even. And to an extent, it was true for Constella as while the Starwalker hadn’t been seriously injured like Jenny, she clearly wasn’t operating at 100%. Her appearance was one thing, but her presence was a bit more subdued as opposed to its usual weight.
Moreover, the vessels in her entourage had sustained varying degrees of damage. Some worse than others.
However, Vazar seemed completely fine. Physically at least. His Aura was as vibrant as ever and his ships didn’t seem to have sustained any damage. If it was any consolation, she noticed that some of the ships were missing, so they were presumably destroyed.
“Well, you two don’t seem to be in the mood for idle chatter, so let’s get things over with. Do you have what I asked for?” He asked and the two girls exchanged a glance.
Then from within their groups, a person carrying a spatial item stepped forward and presented them.
Vazar’s eyes gleamed and he sent one of his people forward to take the two items. The air grew noticeably tense as the fighters from all sides prepared for a conflict to break out.
The subordinates completing the exchange watched each other warily as they waited for the others to make a move.
However, despite the tension, the two items were taken, and the Corruptionist searched the items for any sign of tampering before checking to see if they truly contained the Cryo Cores, and after making sure, he gave each of them another spatial item, and stepped back.
Immediately, each of them used their energy to search the items to see if they were rigged in some way or the other. After that, they used their consciousness to delve into said items, and when they were sure there was nothing wrong with them and the number of things inside matched the exchange, they stepped back.
“I’m surprised you were able to gather the items needed to finish your end of the exchange while still inside this place. Or did you already have them on standby?” Constella asked coldly and Vazar just flashed her a grin.
Jenny simply snorted, not bothering to leave behind any words as she turned and left.
In a few short moments, all the beasts that made up her entourage, including her turtle, rose into the air and flew away.
Constella gave Vazar an indifferent glance before leaving as well.
Vazar snickered and returned to his ship.
‘Idiots, now I can move on to the next phase of my plan.’ He thought with satisfaction as he returned to the command room and sat on his throne. Once all the Handlers were settled, he said.
“Full speed ahead.” The various ships rose into the air, and in an instant, they shot toward the massive blizzard with incredible speed.
***
Christopher shot forward with incredible speed. Usually, he’d move slower to Gauge the reaction of his opponent, but right now, he was too excited to care.
He was in front of the entity in an instant and swung his sword with such force that space shattered as a result.

Keep in mind, that Christopher wasn’t using any enhancements, this was a result of his raw strength, and it was already so devastating.
However, to his surprise, his blade passed Stoughton through the entity and did nothing to it.
‘Hmm.’ Christopher righted himself and tilted his head.
‘Master, that thing is weird. It has no fate.’ Norn pointed out and Christopher arched a brow behind his mask.
‘No fate? Doesn’t that mean it shouldn’t exist?’ When he asked the question, a wave of realization hit him.
‘Has no fate, shouldn’t exist, appears within a blizzard that causes a existence erasure. Hm…’ Christopher pieced things together.
‘So I’m fighting an entity that only exists within the blizzard that can only support it since the blizzard erases things from existence, and the entity doesn’t exist either, but it can only exist within the blizzard…?’ He felt confused.
Then he was suddenly startled when the entity was in front of him.
There was no build-up to the movement, there was no delay, and space didn’t even show any signs of being tampered with, so Christopher couldn’t say it teleported.
And again, he couldn’t perceive it with his senses, so he couldn’t tell it was there without directly looking at it.
Then Christopher ducked as one of the thing’s limbs appeared where his head had been a moment ago. Even with all his natural barriers, Christopher had a feeling he’d be heavily injured if he hot hit.
‘It doesn’t exist. If it doesn’t exist then aspects of existence shouldn’t apply to it, for instance, distance.’ He noted as he backed away, but the thing was already in front of him again.
Christopher relied solely on his instincts to avoid another attack that would have hit his heart and slashed towards the entity with Norn using considerable force. But just like last time, the blade passed straight through.
‘If it doesn’t exist, I can’t hit it. How do you hut something that doesn’t exist? What?’ He felt a bit stumped as he avoided another attack, and then a few more.
“Huu~. This is getting out of hand.” He muttered, but not because he was feeling pressured or at a loss for how to defeat the entity.
No, it’s because his excitement was starting to infringe on his judgment.
Saying he was walking on thin ice here was an understatement. He wasn’t sure how powerful a hut from the entity would be and if it would cause significant harm, but he noticed that on some close calls, the entity had missed him by millimeters, meaning it could bypass his passive barriers, which were extremely durable. Not to mention his Transcendent barrier.
His body with his Physique was more durable than all of these, but it was easy to infer that he would sustain pretty heavy damage if he got hit even once.
And the fact that he couldn’t accurately ascertain when to dodge and was merely relying on his instincts put him under a lot of pressure.
All of this, caused his excitement to spike. And eventually, he wasn’t able to suppress it anymore.
He dodged another attack and poured Mana into Norn.
After that, something strange happened.
Reality around them shuddered and the surrounding blizzard actually retreated a bit, as if it was afraid of something.
Meanwhile, the entity suddenly froze, and amazingly, its body started to become more corporeal.
It happened fast enough for Christopher to make out an emotionless and lifeless face before his fist connected with its face with horrifying force.
His fist wasn’t enhanced by any magic, but again, his raw strength was obscene.
His fist created a Shockwave as he twisted his body and punched their face into the ground with enough force to temporarily dispel the blizzard around them.
The force didn’t stop there as the ground practically exploded and a large tremor traveled for more than a thousand miles in every direction.
Christopher exhaled and pulled his fist back, and he was surprised with what he saw.
“… Surprisingly human.”
