MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM - Chapter 183
Chapter 183: Recognition
Recognition
As soon as the different reflections had completely copied every trait the Yeti possessed, they all turned into that silvery liquid once more and seemed to dissolve into the ground.
The Yeti lay there, its breaths deep and laborious. Even with its durability, a heavily damaged soul followed by the onslaught of attacks from Azure was enough to put it out of commission. However, it wasn’t dead yet.
Christopher walked up to it, squatted near its head, and smiled.
“You’ve been outclassed big guy.” He said lightly and the Yeti moved its eyes to look at him. He sensed it trying to peer past his mask, but naturally, such a thing was bound to fail.
“You fought well, but you lost. Then again, such a result was expected.” Christopher wasn’t quite sure where he was going with this, he was just rambling if he was being honest.
He spoke for a bit before sighing.
“I’ve talked too much. So here are your options, I kill you or you work for me.” He asked concisely. He knew the Yeti could understand him based on its reactions to his words thus far, so he waited for its answer.
The Yeti seemed to contemplate the question and Christopher waited patiently, not feeling mad or annoyed, after all, he was basically saying you either give me your loyalty or die, which wasn’t that much of a choice.
Then to his surprise, the Yeti turned to Azure and spoke in a deep and gruff voice, but it was strained.
“You’re… The Lord’s… Second…” He managed to get out and Christopher was surprised. Did he recognize Azure?
But in hindsight, that made sense. After all, both of them were natives of the Hidden Realm, moreover, the Yeti wasn’t a simple beast, unlike the other creatures that filled the hidden realm. Its intelligence aside, the fact that it possessed weapons that were made as well as they were indicated that it must have received them from an existence capable of forging or had forged them itself.
Then there’s the fact that it was placed here as a trial. The number of beasts in the realm was staggering, with many stronger than others. So that fact that it was the one that had been made to be the ‘gatekeeper’ of this trial, as Christopher interpreted it, spoke volumes of its origin.
When Azure was addressed, she tilted her head slightly for a moment, and then Christopher saw a hint of recognition flash through her eyes.
“You’re that Yeti child from back then.” She spoke softly and the Yeti tried to smile but failed miserably.
“You remember me… I’m honored.” I spoke again before turning to Christopher.
“Your loyalties… have changed…” He said again, bitterness filling his pained voice.
“The Former Lord’s will was for me to find someone worth serving after he passed. Master is that person.” Azure said calmly and the eyes of the Yeti widened slightly and his gaze toward Christopher changed slightly.
“… I see…” The Yeti exhaled.
“Then I… am glad. I will… follow you…” When the Yeti said this, its body went limp, then it started to change.
It suddenly turned into a clear ice sculpture which cracked and shattered into ice dust. This dust didn’t settle on the ground. Instead, it floated in front of Christopher before condensing into something that looked like a heart.
Christopher grabbed it and stared at it with a bit of a complicated look in his eyes.
‘I tend to forget that everyone I come across has their own story, this Yeti included.’ He sighed and transported the heart into his Dimension. When he grabbed it, a bunch of information about the heart and its uses appeared in his mind.
It was called the Winter Solstice Heart, and upon consumption, the being that consumed it would gain a few new traits.
For example, it granted the user extreme cold resistance, to the point that many could call it ice immunity. However, it was difficult to be truly immune to something.
It also increased the effectiveness of any ice-based attacks he unleashed, increased the efficiency of ice-type resources one used, and could even grant someone an Ice Affinity if they didn’t already have one.
There were more uses, but those were the main ones. However, as incredible as it was, Christopher had no interest in using it on himself. After all, his Physique already made him resistant to most things reality could throw at him, Ice included. He had an Affinity for most types of magic as far as he was concerned, and his Physique made use of whatever resources it consumed to its maximum potential, so he didn’t need to worry about that. As for increasing the level of his ice-based attacks, could it really be better than ice created using Void-Forged Mana?
As a result, he sent it into his Dimension to be enhanced, after that, he intended to make a weapon for Lenax. The Dragon and Prism were the only one of his main subordinates that didn’t have a weapon. Granted, the two of them wouldn’t need a weapon Since every part of Lenax’s body was a weapon, and the way Prism fought was simply too unorthodox to require something as two-dimensional as a weapon.
However, Christopher was determined to not leave out any of his subordinates. Even if he didn’t make them weapons, he would make them exceedingly powerful items or artifacts to boost their combat ability. The only person he wasn’t certain he’d make anything for was Azure as her sword and shield were already soul weapons, and her armor was something of impeccable quality.
‘A matter for later I suppose.’ He shrugged and turned to Azure.

“Good work you two.” Despite only looking at Azure, he addressed the two of them as if they were standing in the same spot, that’s because…
From the reflections of Azure’s armor, Prism suddenly stepped out like it was a portal and bowed gracefully, her wings vibrating ever so slightly behind her to expose her excitement at the praise.
“Thank you, Master.” She said evenly and Azure gave a salute and simply nodded.
“Mhm. Oh and Prism, don’t feel pressured. You did great, don’t worry about being inadequate or anything of the sort.” Christopher saw straight through her thoughts of insufficiency and cut through them. Prism shook a little, but she merely nodded at his words as she visibly relaxed.
Christopher turned to the far side of the ‘arena’ where another ‘barrier’ stood and exhaled.
“Well, let’s get going.”

“…” Chiara looked down on the being pressed beneath her claws with a scrutinizing gaze, her large slitted pupils taking in the figure with chilling precision.
“Hmm…” She hummed as she continued to observe. She was currently at her maximum size which was as large as a small hill and was laying on her stomach which added to the weight the being beneath her claws was facing. And Chiara was MUCH heavier than a simple hill.
Her tail swayed from side to side, betraying her curiosity as she continued to observe. The soldiers in the stronghold watched with some interest at her antics, but they weren’t too focused on it as she’d developed this strange habit ever since she ended up in this place.
As a light, or rather, a Luminous Dragon, Chiara was attuned to everything shiny. As a result, she had a unique sensory ability.
The hidden realm was in ‘day time’ all the time. As a result, it was always bright, which Chiara enjoyed. However, because of this, anytime something remotely dark appeared within her sensory range, it stuck out like a sore thumb, so she could easily detect anything that didn’t produce light or actively resisted it.
Though, one would be sorely mistaken if they thought that in that case, eluding her senses would be as simple as blending in with the light.
As such, she noticed almost immediately when an entity appeared near the stronghold, its presence stuck out to her like a sore thumb.
She wasted no time and moved at an absurd speed, far surpassing ordinary light as she smashed down on whatever the entity was. Then white chains appeared and shot into the entity. However, they didn’t pierce its flesh or bind it like normal chains. Instead, it was as though the chains were absorbed into its body, and then white tattoos in the shape of chains appeared all over its body.
The moment this happened, the being lost its ability to use any of its abilities, leaving it with its physical strength, and a Dragon’s physical body wasn’t in any way inferior to their ability to use magic.
“Hm…” Chiara hummed again as she continued to scrutinize the being trapped under her weight, her childlike curiosity peeking through.
After a while, her tail whipped in excitement which created a dangerous gale. Luckily it wasn’t in the direction of the stronghold.
“You’re with those Corruptionist guys Master spoke about!” She exclaimed and the being’s eyes widened. She knew?!
