MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM - Chapter 200
Chapter 200: His Desire
His Desire.
‘So Maho*aga.’ Christopher summarized and the system stayed quiet.
With a shrug, he looked over at Lenax and Prism. Not that he wasn’t impressed with Thanatos’ improvements. In fact, he was quite excited. Something told him that due to this evolution, there would be a fundamental change to the way his control over the undead was.

Christopher’s brows jumped.
For starters, he felt like Lenax was lacking somehow when it came to his race and bloodline abilities. Granted, he was fundamentally weaker than the twins in that area, and he was just now catching up to them. Though even now the spot he had reached was their previous position as their bloodlines had evolved to something greater.
He wasn’t disappointed though. Even now, he could tell that Lemax had the overall highest physical attack power of anyone there. Even that ‘thing’ on the moon.
The fact that Christopher could clearly make out his muscles which were taught like steel cables despite the presence of his unbelievably durable scales let him know that other than Azure, taking a hit from the dragon directly was probably not a good idea.
Then there was Prism, and two things caught his interest. Namely her bloodline and Physique.
‘Yata no Kagami. I know that name.’ Christopher had to take a few seconds to search his memories from Earth before he found what he was looking for.
‘Right. That’s one of the three Imperial Regalia of Japan. Something about it being used to lure Amaterasu out of her cave because she was hiding and plunged the world into darkness. The mirror apparently represents wisdom and honesty.’ When he got that information, he frowned behind his mask.
‘First of all, Prism’s combat style quite literally revolves around deception. I’d prefer to call the ‘wisdom’ ‘cunning’. Fighting an upfront battle with her is nigh impossible. But more importantly.’ Christopher’s frown deepened.
‘The Yata no Kagami still exists as far as I’m aware. I could chalk off the other mythological stuff I’ve seen as the lingering influence of these entities due to them having passed by the earth at some point. After all, if they are capable of traversing the multiverse, it’s not so outlandish to assume they have passed the Earth at some point. But the Yata no Kagami is a SPECIFIC object in a SPECIFIC location on the Earth. How does that work? Or is it not the real thing and merely a ceremonial item named after the real thing?’ After pondering about it for a few seconds, Christopher just asked the system.
[Master’s hypothesis on how the various mythologies and cultures on Earth came to be is correct. There is a certain point entities reach which allows them to travel through universes with relative ease. As a result, they tend to travel around a lot. More often than not, they try to find rare and valuable resources in undiscovered universes. Through this, they tend to spread their influence, whether accidentally or not. Most likely, the Earth was faced with the influence of many such entities in the past. However, it is rare for so many different entities to visit a single universe, let alone a single planet. So it is a bit unusual, to say the least. As for the issue with the entity known as Prism, it isn’t something that needs to be considered too deeply as the item you speak of was most probably named after the real thing and, as you said, is a ceremonial item.] When the system finished its explanation, Christopher didn’t know whether to feel relieved or even more concerned.
When I was still on Earth, it was utterly devoid of Mana. Moreover, there are no historical records recording anything such as Mana. The closest thing to that would be people who claimed to be blessed by gods, though I guess those claims hold a bit more credibility now. But what I want to know is, why the Earth? Fine, I can kinda understand them coming to the universe in general. But as far as I’m aware, the rarest thing on Earth in terms of pure rarity would be trees since scientists weren’t able to find any other planet with trees besides the Earth. And with how many trees I’ve seen since transmigration, I doubt that’s their reason for visiting the planet. Moreover, if there was something so valuable, why not just take the entire planet? Or is that why the Earth is devoid of Mana in the first place? But that can’t be right, there have to be many methods to generate Mana, they wouldn’t need to crowd a small blue planet to do so. So it just boils down to why? Why were many powerful beings nearing the Earth?’ He mused.
[The chances are that there was something in the past that attracted them. As for what it could have been, I am unable to answer as the planet Earth is a place I have no records of whatsoever. Moreover, it seems that whatever attracted them was taken and they left, seeing as according to you, there has been no activity from any of these entities near the Earth that suggests that they might still be present in any way, shape, or form.] Christopher sighed, feeling a little irritated by the System’s non-answer. But then again, he acknowledged that the System wasn’t omnipotent and simply had a vast repertoire of knowledge, so there were bound to be gaps here and there. And unfortunately, this was one of those gaps.
‘Another reason to go back to the Earth I guess.’ He thought with a sigh, still irritated that he couldn’t perform a targeted teleportation using Dimensional Transcendence.

Still, beyond his irritation, there was a deep sense of excitement in Christopher’s heart. It wasn’t the highly unnatural excitement that prevented him from thinking straight like before. This was more… original, so to speak. It felt genuine.
Besides getting stronger and growing his Dimension, Christopher was deeply curious about the different things of the vast multiverse. After all, before he reincarnated, he often read novels and texts on various Histories and mythologies to briefly peel him away from his deep-seated depression. That’s how he was able to even remember the Yata no Kagami which was more of the more obscure pieces of history and mythology on the Earth.
In fact, he had assigned a clone to simply read up on the history of Altrea and its various events that took place. Due to his library upgrading over and over, the information he had on that world was far more detailed than any historical records that existed on it prior.
He especially enjoyed the things he learned about the war that happened in the past and how the deities of that world along with its strongest individuals had to fight against the existential threat that forced them to forge the Legend Sword which then gained a consciousness of its own and turned against its creators before ultimately being shattered by its ‘hard counter’.
The details were plentiful and Christopher thoroughly enjoyed them. Now he was finding out more snippets of the vast universe, his curiosity was being stoked.
He wanted to know more about the hidden realm, about what happened to its creator, why he refused to break through to the Archon realm, what had cursed him, why he paid such special attention to Azure, and so on.
He wanted to know about the history of the various clans as well as the major clans which the Scions stemmed from. He wanted to know how such a power dynamic came to be, he wanted to know what power lay above them, he wanted to know the origins of the mysterious Corruptionists, why they were so audacious in their plan, how they had the resources to pull it off.
He wanted to know the peak power of this universe and the history behind it, then he wanted to know the peak power of multiple universes and the history behind those.
He wanted to know the origin of the beef between the Void and Creation. He wanted to know if they started to conflict with one another the instant their very ideas came to be, or if they were more friendly in the beginning. He wanted to know how existence worked, and how it was capable of encompassing the Void and Creation. He wanted to know about the others ideas similar to Creation and Oblivion that were of the same level and higher.
He wanted to know more about the entities that had gazed him, he wanted to know just how far their reach extended and the extent of their powers, to know if they were truly infinite.
He wanted to to witness the process of systems like his being created. He wanted to observe other systems and their abilities.
He… He wanted to learn.
