MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM - Chapter 59
Chapter 59: Han
Han
Blood splattered as Han completely eviscerated the upper body of a Voidwalker. The poor guy didn’t stand a chance as he had tried to defend, but the overwhelming strength of the Man wasn’t something he could handle.
Around him, even more mutilated corpses could be seen strewn on the ground, none of them whole.
Han exhaled and started to walk forward. Unlike his sister, he pace was quite casual and he seemed to be in no rush. Though, his face was somber.
‘Felicia should be going to them now.’ Han didn’t have the same processing speed as his sister, but that didn’t mean he was dumb. In fact, far from it.
It didn’t take him long to figure out why the Voidwalkers attacked and had also guessed that their target was Curtis as he was the one with the Legend Sword Shard. He also had a feeling that Richard was the traitor. He wasn’t completely sure though and simply made that deduction based on his instincts and the few facts that he had at his disposal.
As he walked, he couldn’t help but think.
‘I wonder what that Christopher guy is doing. Certainly can’t be worse than this.’ When he had that thought, he paused slightly but quickly started walking again.
‘Now that I think about it, it’s quite possible that he was the traitor, based on the facts I have on hand. It’s not as likely as Richard since Richard knows every nook and cranny of this Palace and could easily convince the guards to change their rotation schedule to give the Voidwalkers a chance to get in. But at the same time, Christopher could have also done some things to make the ambush possible.’ He rubbed his chin.
‘He could have mapped out the place, learned our schedules, and so on. Plus he spent lots of time with Titus and must have gained a lot of information from him which would be really useful in taking this place over.’ However, even as he pondered that, he didn’t think Christopher was involved.
‘It’s suspicious that he isn’t here since, by this time, he’d have been training Titus. But apparently he needed to do something important in the morning and so he couldn’t come. That’s incredibly suspicious considering what’s happening right now, but… I don’t think it was him.’ Han sighed. There was just something about the way Christopher carried himself that told him that he wouldn’t do something like planning a sneak attack on their home.
‘At the very least, if he wanted to do so he wouldn’t wear a mask or use underhanded tactics. Not because he’s honorable or anything like that, but because he’d think he has no need for such things and only his own raw strength.’ He shook his head, he was getting off track.
In the end, even if he was wrong and Christopher was one of the ones behind this attack, the situation hadn’t changed, and so he needed to get rid of useless thoughts and think of a way to stop this situation.
‘The problem is how? The Voidwalkers are incredibly cautious. Up until now they haven’t done anything they weren’t absolutely certain of. So the fact that they have the audacity to attack this place means that they have something that gives them confidence.’ Han had a similar thought process to his sister.
The Voidwalkers were without a doubt, a fearsome force. Compared to some of the more renowned terrorist groups, they were quite young. And had only recently become prominent within the last decade. And yet here they were, directly attacking the Emperor’s Palace.
Not that such a thing hadn’t been attempted before, but the number of times it had been and the number of times the enemy had actually gotten into the castle to cause this much damage could be counted on one hand.
This made Han curious, just what did the Voidwalkers have that made them all grow so strong so quickly? The rate at which the group grew was simply unprecedented and quite frankly, concerning.
So much so that they actually had the guts to attack one of the most well defended places on the planet.
‘No matter what though, they can’t take too long doing what they are doing here.’ Indeed, inasmuch as the Voidwalkers were confident, there simply was no way that they would remain in this place for an extended period of time.
The main reason being that there were way, WAY more experts outside the Palace than there were inside. And if they lingered then the only thing that awaited them was death.
From what he could see, there was a strange field that isolated the Palace from the outside world. But it wasn’t like magic he’d seen before. In fact, he couldn’t even feel the cause. He could only see it. That’s why he knew it was there in the first place.
‘The Voidwalkers believe in an Entity called the Void. If that being is real then maybe that’s how they keep obtaining these strange means. After all, a few of the ones I fought seemed to have items that made Mana either useless or a lot less effective. How strange.’ Then he turned a corner and frowned with slight irritation.
There was another group of Voidwalkers. They weren’t many, but they all had fearsome Auras and wielded a variety of weapons. And from the stances they took, it was clear that each of them was a trained fighter with years of combat experience under their belts.
None of them were weak.
And yet the fight was over within a minute.
The moment they appeared within his line of sight, Han’s body blurred and he moved with speed that did not match his stature considering that he was the bulky one of his siblings.
Yet like flash, he was behind two of the Voidwalkers before they could even react, and by the time they did, their heads had already slid off their bodies.
The next Voidwalker who wielded an Axe tried to take him from the side but Han dodged it with incredible agility. The Voidwalker kept his cool and raised his hands to block. But before he could do so, he suddenly found his arms to be unbelievably heavy. And so before he could defend himself, Hans’s fist had already struck him in the chest.
There was a sickening crunching noise as everything at the guy’s chest and above got deleted.
The remaining didn’t have much of a chance either and were dead in the next few moments.

And oddly enough, not a drop of blood found its way on Han’s body. Or rather, those that did simply slid off like water on metal.
A lot of people assumed that Han’s magic was centered around gravity, and one wouldn’t be blamed for such an assumption due to the way Han fought. Sometimes he’d move incredibly fast, other times he’d be stationary and moving him from his spot was close to impossible.
He could also do similar things to others and have them move faster or slower. Which suggested an ability to reverse or increase the strength of gravity. However, that was incorrect.
Instead, Han possessed an interesting and fairly unique form of magic called Mass magic. And as the name suggested, it granted him the ability to control and manipulate the mass of things at will.
As such, the reason he was able to move so quickly was because he could lower his mass and make himself lighter, and when he attacked, right before his attack landed, he’d increase the mass of his fist to a huge degree and cause devastating damage.
And that wasn’t the only thing he could do. If he increased the mass of a person too much, they’d be crushed under their own weight. But if he reduced it too much, the outcome could be just as lethal.
For instance, if he reduced the mass of, say, an opponent’s bones, the weight of their muscles would be too much and they’d get crushed. At the same time, if he reduced the mass of one’s heart enough, it wouldn’t function properly and would lead to a heart attack.
It was quite devious but those were only some of the ways that his ability could be applied. Everyone in the Darius Family was a force to be reckoned with and there weren’t many people that would want to fight Han going all out.
Another reason for this was besides his devastating magic, Han also had an interesting Physique. Titus had mentioned to Christopher before that every member of his family had a special trait or Physique that allowed them to rise up above others.
For Titus, it was that he had permanent muscle memory meaning that if he learnt how to perform a specific physical action, he’d never forget. Moreover, his muscles couldn’t shrink or lose their density unless he wanted them to.
Felicia had her eye which essentially made her into a supercomputer and had the ability to make extremely precise predictions and her perception and Mana control were simply on another level.
As for Han, his was fairly simple but no less incredible.
Depending on his wishes, his body could take on the attributes of a weapon.
This wouldn’t seem like much. But if one thought about it, it was actually a bit terrifying.
Say you got close enough to Han to actually land a hit. In that case, he’s made his body possess the same aspects of a shield. If he’s on the offensive, he could make his hands act as and be as sharp as swords. If he fought an agile opponent, he could make himself as agile as daggers. And so on.
Moreover the ‘durability’ of these weapon forms depends on how strong Han himself is. And he was currently at the Purple rank. Meaning he could be as durable as a Purple ranked shield and so on.
It’s also why he didn’t use any weapon, simply because he himself was the weapon.
