MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM - Chapter 69
Chapter 69: Upgrade
Upgrade
Christopher decided not to waste any time and get the upgrade done.
He was certain that now that he’d thwarted an important plan of the Voidwalkers, this would become a hell of a lot more hectic. And while he was confident in his strength, he wasn’t naive enough to think he was invincible.
There were still a lot of things he didn’t know, and a lot of things that could kill him if he wasn’t careful. As such, he did the only thing he could do, and that was to get stronger.
And the most effective way of doing that?
‘Begin the upgrade.’ Christopher gave the system the go ahead.
[Confirmed. Please prepare yourself.] Hearing this, Christopher sighed. He knew what would come next.
Pain
Just like before, a mind numbing pain washed over him, from the depths of his soul and every cell that made up his body, nothing was spared.
However, having gone through the process twice before Christopher wasn’t totally helpless like last time.
He still fell over, but he didn’t scream, and he also retained some sense of self, enough to somewhat look around and observe the changes going on around him.
It was quite incredible honestly.
Up until now, he hadn’t been able to truly witness the process of upgrading his Dimension to the next stage since the pain was all he could focus on. But now, he was able to observe the process.
And it was beautiful.
Christopher briefly forgot the harrowing pain as he took in the scene of the Dimension upgrading itself.
From the sky of the Dimension, a ball of multicoloured radiance appeared, pulsing and undulating with Incandescent splendor.
Then, after a few seconds, the ball suddenly split apart into streams that flowed into different parts of the Dimension. To the ground and trees, to the air and Mana, and even to the space and light. No part was left untouched, and the same applied to himself and his subordinates.
The light covered them and hastened the changes brought on by the upgrade.
At the same time, Christopher noticed everything grow. The hills gradually grew to become mountains, the trees went from dozens to hundreds of meters tall and beyond, the bodies of water swelled in diameter, the magnificent Haven of the Enlightened became even more wondrous, the sprawling city increasing in size and magnificence.
Then the Mana also became much, much more thick and potent. So much so that there was now a faint blue mist that covered the entire Dimension. It wasn’t thick enough to obscure anyone’s vision, but it was simply that much, and the quality had also grown immensely.
Christopher managed to look up and noticed that there were now bluish clouds in the sky, and it didn’t take him long To guess that they were clouds of condensed Mana.
The air had become rich and sweet. So pure that simply inhaling it could help rid one of negative effects, and that wasn’t taking away the passive Aura of life the newly enhanced trees were giving off. It was all so astounding.
Time crawled by, and slowly, the round of enhancements came to an end. And at the same time, the pain ravaging everyone’s bodies slowly subsided and came to a stop.
“Ugh. I will never get used to that.” Silver said with a wince and stood up. However he immediately noticed something was different.
“Woah.” Kim stood up and exclaimed.
“Hey, why are you tall all of a sudden?!” She said and pointed at Silver.
Indeed, the wolf previously didn’t look a day over twelve in his human form. But now he looked more or less like an adolescent around 17.
He stared at her and said.
“Speak for yourselves! Look at you!” Hearing this, Kim looked down and widened.
‘Why is my chest so… Wait!’ She brushed slightly as she realised that her previously flat chest had now gained a sizeable bust. More than sizeable actually, it was quite… generous.

And that wasn’t all, her figure in general had natured and she now looked like a youthful young woman, her leather armour hugging her curves excellently. Her face had also matured, so now she seemed a lot less childish and was now extremely beautiful and adorable.
And it wasn’t just the two of them either.
When the twins came to, they both noticed that they had also gotten taller. Though not by a lot, but still taller. They still looked childish, but they seemed to have takenSilvers’s spot of looking like a twelve year old.
Moreover, they also looked a bit different. Umbra’s dark horn and hair looked… darker. It was hard to imagine, but that was indeed the case as looking at them was reminiscent of looking at a black hole that devoured all light.
In fact, his presence alone seemed to do Just that. Simply by standing there, his surroundings seemed to have gotten darker.
And the opposite could be said for Chiara. Her hair and horn were now an even whiter shade of white, if that made any sense. It wasn’t like they were shining like a light bulb, but it felt like it would be the case if someone shone even the smallest bit of light on her. And just like her brother but the opposite, her presence alone seemed to make the surroundings brighter.
Then there was thanatos. And he looked pretty scary.
The upgrade made him unconsciously cancel his human form, so the Lich was back to being a skeleton. But he too looked different.
He was larger by about half a head, but that wasn’t really all that substantial. However, that wasn’t all.
The bones that made up his body were now completely black like Obsidian, and around them were strange and intricate purple markings that made one dizzy just from staring at them. They resembled what became of his skeleton army when he summoned them to fight the Voidwalkers, but this seemed more… intense.
And their colour aside, one could tell that they were incredibly durable just from looking at them. They seemed to be made of some strange yet ancient and powerful metal. That was only appearance wise though, they were still bones.
The flames that burned within his eye sockets were also an eerie purple that seemed to capture the souls of those who looked at them. And that wasn’t an exaggeration.
Then there was Belladonna.
The Vampire, unsurprisingly, had become even more beautiful again. Her figure hadn’t changed by much, but just enough to make her seem even more perfect. Her skin also seemed to have become even more pale which didn’t sound possible considering she was a Vampire, but that was indeed the case. It was subtle and hard to resist, just like the rest of her.
The tattoo on her collarbone had also grown. Christopher still didn’t know what its significance was, but he had a feeling it was important.
Her hair had grown to be slightly longer, not by a large amount, but it was noticeable. And lastly, her eyes had gained an even deeper shade of red, resembling pure red rubies that were put into her sockets.
Christopher nodded to himself, satisfied with the changes, though he had a feeling Silver And Kim would be thrown off for a while with their now mature bodies.
He then turned to his new subordinates.
Sinestra… looked exactly the same. If there was anything different about the Entity, it would be his Aura as it had become both more ancient as well as deep. Hinting at the terrifying power he possessed.
As for Lenax and Prism, well, their changes were a bit more drastic.
For starters, Lenax had another pair of horns on his head. Just below his original ones. And they were slightly smaller.
Christopher was mildly perplexed since he thought dragons only showed off one horn in their human forms, but he judged it to be because of the recent upgrade.
Besides that, his muscles had become… denser. Not bigger, No they were still the same size, but one look at them and one would be able to tell that they were significantly more powerful than before.
And the most notable thing was the ocean blue crystal embedded in his forehead. It was only about 3 centimeters in diameter, but it gave off a very mystical feeling, like staring at the vast ocean.
Christopher was a bit perplexed by this, the changes the older dragon had undergone seemed much more drastic than the Twins. And yet he still felt as though the Twins were more… potent.
He decided to think about it later and looked at Prism who… quite literally had become transparent.
Just like the other older girls, her figure had gone through an enhancement, raising her beauty and attractiveness by many degrees. There were also these small glass like Shards on her elbows which seemed strange but also fitting considering the rest of her body.
And her wings now looked very different. If before they seemed like liquid glass, now they looked like they were made of glass powder, constantly swirling and shifting. And quite frankly, painful to look at.
‘Are they gonna change with each upgrade? That seems unnecessary. It’s pretty though.’ Christopher rubbed his chin.
‘Well whatever. I’ll look at their stats now.’
