MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM - Chapter 70
Chapter 70: Norn and Scarlet
Norn and Scarlet
Christopher had no doubts that he and his subordinates’ stats had increased massively, but he wanted to see just how massive the increase was, so he didn’t linger and decided to check their stats. Though He started with himself first.
<Name: Christopher
Race: Primordial Human (Child)
Rank: Gold
Affinity: Magic Helix
Physique: High Unparalleled
Bloodline: Primordial Human
Dimensional abilities→ >
Christopher immediately focused on his new rank and Physique.
‘Gold huh? That’s insane honestly. What would that allow me to do then? I should be able to test it somewhere right? And my Physique, just how exaggerated would it be now? How much is one pushup of mine compared to a normal person.’ The more he thought about it, the more excited he became. Though he was a little confused that his growth stage was simply ‘child’.
[In Human terms, it would be referred To as Preschooler. But most Primordial humans didn’t abide by those terms and simply referred to their young above the stage of toddlers as children.] Hearing this, Christopher understood.
‘Ah, that makes more sense.’ With his doubts cleared. He decided to focus on his Dimensional abilities.
<Time Dilation: 4:1
Dimensional Enslavement (Level 3)
Dimensional Management (Level 3)
Dimensional Assault (Level 2)
Passive Growth (Level 1)>
As usual, Christopher immediately focused on the brand new skull.
‘Passive growth?’ He decided to see its description.
<Passive Growth: The Master no longer has to consciously transport items into the Dimension as it is now an automated process that does not require his input.> Christopher read it over and let a smile slip through.
‘That’s… really convenient.’ He thought with amusement.
Truth be told, consciously looking for stuff to put inside his Dimension was a bit annoying, even if the process was relatively swift. But if the System could automate it, that would make things much easier.
However, something else caught his curiosity.
‘System, what’s the point of levelling up the Dimensional Enslavement? I thought it applied as long as I was stronger than my opponent. I don’t know how you can progress from there.’ He asked and the system, ever so dutiful, answered immediately.
[The first level simply required the master to be stronger. The second level made it so that the same result could be achieved As long as the opponent simply swore loyalty, even if it was uncertain if the master was stronger. The third level removes the need for loyalty, so even if it’s uncertain, as long as the gap isn’t too large, the master could simply transport them into the Dimension and enslave them.] Hearing this, Christopher resisted the urge to whistle.
‘Interesting. No wonder I was able to get Sinestra to obey me despite us not fighting. That’s really useful. And now I can just do it without even the need for loyalty. Just as long as the strength gap isn’t too large. Cool.’ Satisfied, Christopher then moved to the stats of Scarlet and Norn.

<Name: Norn

Affinity: Fate

What he saw wasn’t too surprising, but now he was curious, he hadn’t checked what sort of abilities Norn had, and now his interest Was fully piqued. Just what sort of abilities would a dagger centered around Fate have.
<Inquisitive: When equipped, the wielder of this weapon can see the strings of fate. Allowing them to determine certain events related to themselves and others.
<Severance: The User can cut threads of Fate, allowing the User to sever undesirable outcomes properly prevent certain events from occurring. But there is a heavy cost for each thread cut.
<Fate Bind: The User can temporarily bind a target’s actions or decisions to a predetermined outcome. Cost depends on who the User intends to bind.
<Foreseen Edge: The blade can adjust It’s trajectory based on future possibilities, making it incredibly difficult to block or dodge.
<Reweave: The weapon can “reweave” a damaged or frayed thread of fate, essentially mending it. Allowing for things like saving a life or preventing inevitable events. But it cannot affect too large events and has a high energy cost.
<Fate Shield: The weapon can temporarily divert harmful outcomes by deflecting the fate threads of an incoming attack or events. It cannot affect too large events and has a high energy cost.
<Fate Anchor: The weapon can “anchor” a being, object, or event to a specific outcome, ensuring that it happens regardless of external influence. But this is irreversible and has an immense energy drain.>
Christopher finished reading the descriptions and was stunned silent.
‘… What the actual fuck?’ Was all he could think of at the moment.
Every single one of these abilities were simply too broken.
He had a feeling that abilities related to Fate would be incredible. But this??? The implications were simply too fantastic to think about.
‘Calm down.’ Christopher took a breath and calmed his speeding mind.
Indeed, each of these abilities were incredible, but they weren’t so simple to use. Besides the first one, they all seemed to have a high energy cost, and the last one was a bit scary.
‘Irreversible huh? That’s something I’d need to be careful around. And not use lightly.’ Now that he had calmed down, he looked at everything rationally. Indeed, Norn’s abilities were terrifying, but that power couldn’t be used carelessly.
Christopher didn’t know what would happen if he tampered with fate too much. Fate was a vague and obscure thing that touched everything, he had no idea what the consequences would be if he went crazy and used Norn without a care in the world.
After all, each thread of fate was interlinked with one another. What if he broke too many and resulted in a chain reaction that would cause a disastrous event? He had to be careful.
Still, knowing he had such power at his side was a huge relief.
‘Norn, you’re incredible.’ He whispered in his mind and felt joy course through him as the consciousness of Norn took the compliment gleefully.
After that, Christopher turned his attention to Scarlet and focused on his abilities.
<Annihilation Aura (Grows with user)
Annihilation Manipulation (Grows with user)
…>
The first two moves were the same, so Christopher quickly moved past them and focused on the new ones.
<… Ruin Lock: The Weapon can “tag” an enemy or object with Annihilation energy, marking it for destruction. The energy slowly spreads like a curse gradually erasing the target.
<Crimson Sundering: The weapon releases A focused burst of Annihilation that tears a rift in reality, drawing enemies into the empty void where they will be erased.
<Remove: Annihilation energy will remove an enemy, object, or influence if a concept without fail so long as enough energy is supplied.>
Christopher nodded to himself before freezing.
He reread the last ability again, and again. Then blinked hard and read it again.
‘I beg your pardon?’ As realisation set in, he suddenly felt slightly cold.
‘What in the name of all that is good did I create? Remove can do WHAT?!’ He exclaimed in his mind.
At first, he wanted to feel disappointed that Scarlet had only gotten three more abilities, but now that seemed so inconsequential because of how broken it was.
‘Influence of a concept. So doesn’t that mean I don’t even need Norn to screw with things like fate and more???’ Christopher was ecstatic.
The enemy has high defence? Just remove that defence. The enemy is fast? Just remove their speed! The enemy can see into their future? Use either Scarlet or Norn to screw with Fate!
Naturally he was smart enough to think about this properly as well.
‘The fact that it only said the influence of a concept and not the concept itself means that it isn’t all powerful and can’t just wipe a concept like speed from existence. Still, even this much is incredible.’ Christopher thought with a satisfied smile.
‘Scarlet, you too are incredible.’ He whispered sincerely, and just like with Norn, Christopher felt a wave of joy wash over him as Scarlet’s feelings came through loud and clear causing him to chuckle.
After that, he decided to focus his attention on the members of his cohort.
Most of them were used to him going silent and smiling or chuckling to himself as it indicated that he was thinking, though, Lenax and Prism were staring at him with such intensity that it was a little weird.
Meanwhile, Sinestra was speaking to the others. His presence now made it so that Thanatos was the second oldest, followed by Lenax, Belladonna, and then, Prism, Kim, Silver, and finally the twins.
He seemed to be sharing some stories with the group. Thanatos and Belladonna were calm while the Twins were enraptured, meanwhile Silver and Kim were still observing the physical changes of their bodies.
Especially Kim, in fact, Christopher noticed her sneaking glances at Belladonna and Prism’s chests and comparing them to hers, and she seemed somewhat satisfied for the most part.
‘I really can’t comprehend how all those rulers have people close to them always so serious and stern all the time. This feels much more natural, everyone just being themselves.’ He sighed and decided to start looking at the stats of everyone, starting with Silver.
