MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM - Chapter 71
Chapter 71: Norn
Fate
<Name: Silver
Race: Lunar Lupine (Teen)
Rank: Emperor
Affinity: Moon, Light, Astral
Physique: Mid Unparalleled
Bloodline: Lunar Lupine
Abilities→ >
‘Hm, not unexpected. But an Astral Affinity?’ Christopher thought while rubbing his chin. If he wasn’t wrong, Astral magic had to do with stars.
‘Interesting, why would that happen? Is it just a part of his bloodline? Most likely.’ In the end, he just shrugged. What mattered was that Silver was much stronger than before, and he was sure the same applied to the rest of his subordinates.
So next, he checked out the stats of the twins.
<Name: Umbra
Race: Tenebris Dragon
Rank: Monarch
Affinity: Tenebris
Physique: Mid Unparalleled
Bloodline: Dragon (Archaic)
Abilities → >
<Name: Chiara
Race: Luminous Dragon
Rank: Monarch
Affinity: Luminous
Physique: Mid Unparalleled
Bloodline: Dragon (Archaic)
Abilities → >
‘Straight to Monarch huh? Very impressive. No wonder their Auras felt so dense. And Archaic Dragons? What’s that about?’ Christopher wondered.
[The same way the Master’s race is the Primordial Human which is the original Human race, the Archaic Dragons are the original Dragon race.] Hearing this, Christopher’s eyes widened.
‘That’s… very convenient. Damn, so I’m no longer the only one who is part of an original Al race huh?’ He thought with some excitement.
If it came down to pure talent, the twins were probably the most terrifying of his subordinates. So seeing them tap even further into their ancient bloodline achieve the status of Archaic Dragons was definitely a welcome development.
With a satisfied smile, he turned to Kim.

<Name: Kim
Race: Beast Woman (Celeritas Panther <Adult>)
Rank: Quasi-Gold
Affinity: Space, Lightning
Physique: Mid Unparalleled
Bloodline: Aetherveil Panther
Abilities→>
‘Oh?’ Christopher immediately noticed that Kim’s Bloodline column had changed.
‘Aetherveil Panther huh? Well it did say that evolution was possible. Still, I wonder what that means. Also does that mean that it can’t progress any further? Actually that applies to the others, but that doesn’t make sense. The twins Bloodline showed no option that evolution was possible, and yet they became Archaic Dragons.’ He frowned and decided to ask the system.
[Bloodlines that say evolution is possible means that there are multiple paths possible. However when they are enhanced, the most optimal option for evolution is chosen. The reason why the others don’t say evolution is possible is because there’s a fixed path of progression, and only when they’ve reached the peak of that progression will the option to evolve appear.] Hearing this, Christopher frowned.
‘Hold on, doesn’t that mean that my Primordial Human race and the Twins’ Archaic Dragon race aren’t the originals of the human and dragon race if there’s still a path of progression then?’ He asked.
[Correct, they are only given that distinction because no one knows what came before the Archaic Dragons.] The system answered concisely.
‘But you do?’ He asked skeptically.
[Negative. The system merely reads the information in the bloodline code of a being and sees the faint traces of whatever that bloodline stemmed from. After which it enhances that aspect to allow the being to reach a higher level bloodline than what they currently have.] Hearing this, Christopher felt like he somewhat understood.
‘I see, essentially you can detect the faint traces of whatever higher level bloodline a creature possesses, and when the time for enhancement comes, you enhance it to devour the lower level bloodline and be dominant. And you repeat this process until there is no higher bloodline to be detected. At that point you then start looking for ways to evolve it?’ Christopher summarised and received an ‘Affirmative’ from the system.
‘That clears things up then. Though now I’m curious to see what sort of evolution would be possible for me and the others who haven’t peaked out on our bloodline progression.’ He thought with some excitement before finally turning to the next person which was Thanatos.
<Name: Thanatos
Race: Death Monarch
Rank: Emperor
Affinity: Darkness, Undead, Bone
Physique: Low Unparalleled
Bloodline: Necro Sovereign
Abilities→>
‘Ooh, that sounds cool.’ Christopher thought while rubbing his chin. He noticed that Thanatos had a weaker Physique than the others, but when he thought about it, he wasn’t really perturbed.
First and foremost, he was a Lich who relied on the strength of his Undead army to fight. Not to mention that beyond that, he was also a mage who fought from a distance. So the Lich didn’t really need a powerful Physique, though then again a Physique at the Unparalleled level, low or not, was already out of reach for most.
So he was satisfied, and thus looked towards Belladonna.
<Name: Belladonna Van Rook
Race: Primordial Vampire
Rank: Emperor
Affinity: Blood, Fire, Ice
Physique: Mid Unparalleled
Bloodline: Sanguine Tyrant (Evolution Possible)
Abilities→>
‘Ah-hah!’ Christopher immediately focused on the bloodline part of the stat description.
‘So that means when next I upgrade the Dimension, she will peak out on her bloodline progression and will be able to evolve. Awesome.’ Christopher sdefid, definitely looking forward to it.
Finally, he focused on his last two members. He wanted To look at Sinestra’s stats as well, but according to the system, he was now a part of the Dimension, as such, all his abilities are things Christopher could easily do with his Dimension management, just better.
<Name: Prism
Race: Incandescent Reflection
Rank: Emperor
Affinity: Mirror, Light
Physique: Advanced Unparalleled
Bloodline: Radiant Mirage
Abilities→>
<Name: Lenax Firsith
Race: Tidal Sovereign Dragon
Rank: Tyrant
Affinity: Water, Ice
Physique: Advanced Unparalleled
Bloodline: Dragon (Superior)
Abilities→>
Christopher resisted the urge to whistle. Just like that. Lenax had become the person with the highest Rank among his subordinates.
He wasn’t sure if that necessarily meant he was the strongest, after all, Kim was at the Quasi-Blue Rank for a while and yet she was keeping up with everyone else in the squad. Then again the higher the rank one achieved, the larger the gap there was between them and someone of a lower rank.
Still it was hard to say. To be frank, everyone there had a similar dangerous vibe to them and he couldn’t tell who was more dangerous than the other.
‘I’d mop the floor with them though.’ He thought before chuckling, that was probably a toxic trait right there.
He then focused on Prism for a moment and imagined how she would be feeling. Not too long ago she was being sold at an Auction, one which she had been taken to because she was exiled by her family simply for existing.
Who knew just how many times she’d sworn revenge only to be hit with the cold reality of how she was weak and couldn’t possibly become strong enough to avenge herself. After all, she was merely a defective product.
However, just a few hours after meeting her new owner, she’d suddenly achieved a Rank of power she never even thought possible before. As such, he felt less uncomfortable under her intense gaze. He’d essentially given her both a second chance at life, and then granted her the strength she desperately desired.
He’d probably stare at his benefactor like that as well.
‘Phew. Well, now that I’ve done that. I need to make some plans.’ Christopher touched his chin as he began to think.
‘The Voidwalkers will be pissed for sure. To the point that the chances of them doing something drastic to both get back at me as well as take the Legend Sword Shards is almost 100%. I’ve raised everyone’s strength to a significant level, but I still need to be cautious. But how can I be certain of what they WILL do?’ Immediately he had that thought, he grinned.
He stretched out his hand, and the tattoo of Norn shone before the dagger appeared in his grasp.
‘Master.’ The weapon’s voice echoed softly in his mind. Her tone filled with fondness.
‘Hey Norn. I need your help with something. That okay?’ Immediately he asked the question, he felt a wave of excitement wash over him.
‘Of course master!’ She said eagerly, though Christopher noticed that her voice never rose above a certain level. Which he found both curious and cute.
He nodded and immediately had her activate the Inquisitive ability of the weapon.
Suddenly, over his Runic Insight, something else appeared.
Christopher blinked and was amazed by what he saw.
In his eyes, countless green threads could be seen floating around like a beautiful tapestry.
The threads touched everything and were almost impossible to count. Christopher was sure that if it was a normal person, they’d have their brains fried from the sheer number.
He looked down at himself and saw thick threads that shone very brightly sticking to him, then he looked at the others and saw that they too had bright threads on them, but they weren’t as bright as his. However, something interesting was that the threads of his subordinates were actually interlinked with the ones around his body.
It took him a moment to realise what this meant.
‘Right, their fates are interconnected with mine since I essentially changed their fate and anchored them to mine.’ When he had that realisation, he had another thought.
‘Wait a minute.’ He traced the path of all the threads all over the Dimension and noticed one recurring theme. They were all moving in his direction, but they weren’t attaching to him… or were they?
Christopher tilted his head upwards and his eyes widened.
Above him, a massive thread that was as thick as several bridge cables was attached to his head and glowed like a small sun. And attached to this massive thread were the countless smaller threads that were spread across his Dimension, looking like an incredibly massive tapestry.
And at the end of this thick thread, was a huge bright ball that, for a lack of a better term, looked like a giant ball of yarn floating high above the Dimension.
‘The fate of everything in this Dimension is connected to me, and then I’m connected to the Dimension itself. Meaning everyone’s Fate depends on me.’ Christopher felt a chill run through him at this realisation.
‘Scary, very scary.’
