Chapter 748: The Holy Church Is Making The Move
The next morning, after having breakfast, Miss Zara and Little Zoe decided to spend some time cultivating in their room. After all, they were still far behind Yuan and his wives in terms of cultivation, and they couldn’t afford to slack off.
At the same time, Valeria chose to focus on deepening her comprehension of Sword Aura. She had only just begun to grasp its essence, and her current understanding was still far from complete. She knew that to master the Sword Aura fully, she would have to delve deeper into its mysteries.
Achieving this, however, wouldn’t be easy. It would take a long time—and more than just effort. It all depended on her talent and fate. If she wasn’t destined to grasp the Sword Aura, then no amount of time or effort would allow her to master it.
Still, Yuan had unwavering faith in her. He truly believed that Valeria would one day fully master the Sword Aura and rise to become a formidable Sword Master.
As Valeria closed her eyes and began her meditation, a subtle yet profound glow enveloped her body. And as her concentration deepened, the glow brightened, radiating a quiet power.
Emma watched her silently, then turned to Yuan with a gentle smile. “It looks like Valeria is making good progress with the Sword Aura. What do you think?”
“Indeed,” Yuan nodded, his tone calm but confident. “I truly believe she’ll master it one day and become a powerful Sword Master.”
“However…” Yuan paused briefly, then added, “Mastering the Sword Aura is just the beginning. To become a true Sword Master, one must become completely one with the sword. It’s going to be a long and difficult journey—even for me.”
“I see…” Emma nodded thoughtfully, her expression softening with understanding and admiration. She believed in Yuan completely—there was nothing he couldn’t achieve if he set his heart to it.
‘I need to grow stronger too if I want to stand by his side… I was just a maid before he accepted me as his wife. Even now, it’s hard to believe I finally have a family of my own…’ Emma thought with a warm smile, her gaze locked onto Yuan’s face.
‘I’ll become stronger… I’ll stand proudly by my husband’s side and support him in every step he takes.’
She looked back at Yuan and spoke, “Yuan, I want to learn a new technique. I’ve only mastered one so far. I want to learn something powerful now.”
“A new technique…” Yuan repeated, closing his eyes for a moment in thought. “Since your style focuses on hand-to-hand combat, I think I have just the right one for you.”
After searching through his system storage, where he kept all kinds of techniques, Yuan sifted through a large collection before finally finding the technique he was looking for.
With a wave of his hand, he retrieved the scroll and handed it to Emma, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
[Dragon Twisting Fist]
[Rank: Ancient]
[Description: A powerful fist technique from the Primordial Era. Powerful enough to destroy a star.]
‘As expected of an Ancient Rank Technique… its power is unbelievable. With this technique, Emma will become so powerful that no one in this world will be able to stop her,’ Yuan thought with a satisfied smile. He couldn’t help but feel eager to witness the destructive force of the technique firsthand.
“This technique is called Dragon Twisting Fist—a very powerful one. It’ll be your new technique,” Yuan said, handing it to Emma with a gentle smile. Emma accepted it immediately.
Smiling brightly, Emma threw her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately, sliding her long, snake-like tongue into his mouth.
As his wife, she knew exactly what he liked. Her tongue twined around his, teasing and caressing it as she deepened the kiss, wrapping her arms tighter around his neck and pulling him even closer.
When the kiss finally ended, Emma sat down in a lotus position on the floor. She opened the scroll and began to read the technique carefully.
After a few minutes of focused reading, she closed her eyes and began internalizing it, mentally reviewing and memorizing the contents as she entered a state of comprehension.
While Emma focused on the Dragon Twisting Fist, Yuan sat on the bed between Anna and Grace. He then expanded his Divine Sense to its full range.
Now that he had reached the Spirit Lord Realm, his soul had grown powerful enough for his Divine Sense to stretch for hundreds of kilometers.
The Holy Church was just a few kilometers away from the Capital City of the Holy Light Empire, well within range. Yuan could observe everything happening inside the Holy Church without raising any alarms.
No one within the church had the slightest clue that they were being watched so closely. Even more astonishing, they couldn’t hide a single thing from him.
He could see even the tiniest ants crawling across the floor, and he could hear every conversation happening within the church walls.
Inside the grand cathedral, the Pope was kneeling quietly before a statue of the Goddess, his hands clasped in prayer.

When he finished praying, he stood and turned to the two angels sent by the Goddess to aid the church in its war against the Lionheart Empire.
“It’s finally time,” the Pope said solemnly.
The two angels raised their brows slightly at his words, then silently followed him.
At the back side of the Holy Church, a massive troop of warriors had assembled. Every single one of them was heavily armored and ready for war.
At the front of the formation stood ten commanders, each equipped with a legendary-grade weapon of their choice, exuding a powerful and intimidating presence.
The air was thick with tension as the troops prepared to march toward the Lionheart Empire. Their mission was clear: to destroy the Lionheart Empire. A full-scale war was about to begin.
Every soldier present was a Holy Knight—elite warriors whose combined strength surpassed the military might of entire nations. Because of this overwhelming power, nearly all other nations on the continent feared the Holy Church.
The Holy Church had the strength to crush any nation overnight. It didn’t just possess legions of Holy Knights and powerful saints, but also had monster tamers under its command.
Some of these tamed monsters were above SS-rank—beasts so terrifying that even a single one could bring a nation to its knees.
At that moment, the Pope arrived, followed closely by the two angels—Valtheriel and Selvariel. Their very presence drew the attention of everyone in the area, including the ten commanders of the Holy Knights.
‘Am I seeing things… or are those truly angels? The messengers of the Gods?’
The commanders couldn’t help but swallow nervously as they sensed the angels’ overwhelming aura. The sheer intensity of their magical power made it feel as if they were the very embodiment of magic itself.
Their presence caused even the most seasoned warriors to tremble, shaking their confidence and making them question their own strength.
“Your Eminence, we are ready to march toward the battlefield. We’re only waiting for your order,” one of the ten commanders said, stepping forward and bowing his head respectfully while holding his helmet.
“Sir Caelum, everything seems to be in order. I am very pleased with these preparations. With this much power gathered, I’m confident we will emerge victorious in the coming war,” the Pope responded, his voice firm and resolute as he gazed at the vast army assembled before him.
He then turned to the two angels and continued, “Before we depart for war, I want you all to meet the envoys of our Goddess—Valtheriel and Selvariel. They will be aiding us in our battle against the Lionheart Empire.”
“All of you must show them the same respect you offer me. The Goddess herself has sent them to bless our crusade and ensure our victory. This is a divine blessing bestowed upon us.”
As the Pope finished his declaration with a proud grin, a thunderous cheer erupted from the soldiers.
The entire Holy Church echoed with their voices, the soldiers’ excitement and fervor unmistakably blazing through their cheers.
“And since everyone is gathered here, should I take it that everything is already prepared for the war?” the Pope asked with a serious look on his face, locking eyes with Commander Caelum.
“Indeed, Your Eminence. We have also prepared your ride. It’s over there. Once we receive your order, we will march at once,” Commander Caelum replied, pointing toward a massive carriage parked on the other side of the Holy Church.
The carriage looked more like a mobile fortress. It was so massive that it required four elephants to pull it, and it was equipped with everything the Pope needed for his comfort. It was also heavily fortified—so durable that even an attack from a high-level powerhouse wouldn’t damage it.
“Good. You’ve done really well. This time, the Lionheart Empire will be ours for sure,” the Pope said with a pleased grin.
Moreover, tens of thousands of powerful cannons were mounted onto the carriages. Each one was capable of destroying thick walls with ease, adding to the overwhelming firepower of their army.
The Pope was deeply satisfied with the preparations. He realized that the time had come to march toward the Lionheart Empire—to conquer it, and turn it into a vassal of the Holy Church. This conquest would strengthen the Church’s influence and power across the entire continent.
He looked at the massive army with a profound expression before shouting, “Now, it’s time for us to march toward the Lionheart Empire and take control of their land! Is everyone ready to fight for the honor of the Holy Church?!”
“Yes! We’re ready!”
Thousands of voices responded at once with excited expressions, as if they had already secured victory. Their thunderous voices echoed across the entire area, even reaching beyond the Holy Church’s perimeter.
Seeing their enthusiasm, the Pope felt an immense sense of pride and satisfaction. A creepy smile slowly crept across his face, revealing his front teeth.
‘With this massive army, victory is already within our grasp. All we need to do is eliminate the Lionheart Family and make an example of them. After that, the rest of the nations will surrender to us without resistance,’ the Pope thought, grinning inwardly.
With such an overwhelming force, bolstered by the angels’ support, the Holy Church was confident of victory—especially when compared to the relatively weaker army of the Lionheart Empire.
Unfortunately for the Pope, he didn’t realize that someone else was watching their every move, listening to every word that came out of their mouths, and already knew all their plans.
‘So, the Holy Church has already made its move… and they’re marching toward the Lionheart Empire. I should do Emperor Philip a favor and inform him about their movement,’ Yuan thought as he slowly withdrew his Divine Sense.
Once he opened his eyes, he looked at Vanessa with a serious expression, which immediately made her worried.
“Vanessa, write a letter back to the Lionheart Empire and inform Philip that the Holy Church has begun to move. They’re marching toward the Empire with a massive army,” Yuan said in a firm, serious tone.
“I see… So they’ve already begun to move. It seems this war is unavoidable, after all,” Vanessa mumbled in a low voice, and Yuan could clearly sense the concern in her tone.
“I’ll write a letter of caution immediately. I’m sure he’ll be furious upon reading it. He’ll also be stressed… but he’ll manage,” Vanessa said, then retrieved a pen and a sheet of paper and began writing the message at once.
Once she finished, she left the room and headed toward Aisha, who could assist in sending the letter to the Lionheart Empire.
Upon arriving at Aisha’s room, she knocked a few times until Aisha unlocked the door and let her in.
“What is it, Lady Vanessa? Do you need something from me?” Aisha asked with a smile as she settled onto the sofa.
“I need your help sending this letter back home. The Holy Church is marching toward the Empire as we speak. I need to inform my family about this,” Vanessa said, handing the letter to Aisha with a concerned expression.
“What?! The Holy Church is marching toward the Lionheart Empire?!” Aisha was stunned, staring at Vanessa with disbelief.
“Indeed. This is a very concerning matter. The war is unavoidable at this point,” Vanessa said with a heavy sigh, nodding solemnly.
