My Ex-Husband Begged Me to Take Him Back - Chapter 292
Chapter 292: Gianna€™s confession Chapter 292: Gianna€™s confession Gianna, locked inside the room, grew restless, her fingers twisting the sheets anxiously.
Ever since she had woken from her coma, there had been only one thought consuming her mind-she needed to see Dylan.
She had so much to tell him.
This was her chance-not only to reveal what she knew but to plead for his forgiveness.
Dylan had rescued her, after all.
He might withdraw the case against her and allow her to start over.
Hope fluttered in her chest, growing with each passing second.
At the sound of the door creaking open, her heart leaped.
‘He is here.’ But as she turned eagerly toward the entrance, her excitement drained away.
It wasn’t Dylan.
Instead, a tall man in a black suit stepped inside, his expression unreadable.
His polished shoes barely made a sound as he approached her bed, placing a glass of water on the side table.
“Take your medicine,” he said, extending a small white tablet toward her.
Gianna frowned, barely sparing the pill a glance.
“Where is Dylan?” she demanded.
“Why isn’t he here yet?” The man’s tone remained even, unbothered by her impatience.
“He is on his way.
Now take your medicine.” Gianna looked back at him.
The thought of seeing Dylan again reignited the flicker of hope inside her.
If Dylan was coming, she needed to be strong.
She needed to be awake and alert.
“Okay, I’ll take the medicine.” She reached for the tablet, tossing it into her mouth before gulping down the water.
The sharp sound of footsteps echoed through the corridor, growing louder with each passing second.
Gianna’s heart pounded in her chest as she turned toward the door, fingers tightening instinctively around the glass in her hand.
Dylan entered, his expression cold and unreadable.
Justin stood behind him, pushing the wheelchair forward.
For a moment, Gianna’s breath hitched.
Her eyes widened in disbelief as she saw him in the wheelchair, the sight hitting her like a punch to the gut.
‘This can’t be.’ The glass slipped from her trembling fingers, crashing onto the tiled floor and shattering into countless jagged pieces.
“You?” she gasped.

“Why are you in a wheelchair?” Dylan’s lips curled into a sneer.
“It’s your gift, Gianna.
You made me like this.” Gianna scrambled off the bed and collapsed onto the floor in front of him.
“I-I am so sorry,” she sobbed, reaching for his hands.
“I never meant to hurt you.
Please, Dylan, forgive me!” Dylan’s gaze darkened as he jerked his hands away from her desperate grasp.
Disgust flickered in his eyes.
“Cut the crap,” he snapped.
“Now that you’re awake, I’ll make sure you go straight to jail.” Gianna’s face drained of color.
Panic surged through her veins.
“No, no, please don’t send me to jail,” Gianna cried out.
“Please, Dylan.
Have mercy.” Dylan let out a harsh, bitter laugh.
“Mercy?
Why the hell would I show you mercy?” His voice dripped with venom.
“You hurt Ava.
You tried to kill her.
You injured me.
And you still expect forgiveness?” Gianna’s eyeballs moved from left to right as her mind raced for a way out.
She couldn’t let this happen-she had to find something, anything, to bargain with.
“I-I can tell you secrets,” she blurted out.
“Secrets about Lydia and Erica!” Dylan’s gaze narrowed, intrigue flickering across his face.
Gianna swallowed hard, her pulse hammering.
This was her only chance.
“I’ll tell you everything I know, but you have to promise me something first.” Dylan’s eyes turned cold again.
“You’re in no position to negotiate.” But Gianna shook her head furiously.
“I swear, Dylan, I can give you something valuable!
Just promise me you’ll help me settle abroad.
Give me a new start.
I’ll disappear forever-I’ll never come back, never disturb you or Ava again.” Dylan leaned forward and pinched her chin.
“You don’t deserve forgiveness,” he hissed and pushed her away.
“Guards.” Two men dressed in black stepped inside.
Their imposing presence made Gianna recoil.
“Take her away,” Dylan commanded icily.
“And give her the punishment she deserves.” Her face turned ashen.
The guards moved swiftly, grabbing her arms from both sides.
“No€¦Please,” she screamed, struggling against their grip.
“Dylan, listen to me!
I’ll tell you everything-don’t let them take me away!” Dylan smirked sneakily.
This was exactly what he had been waiting for.
He held up a hand, signaling the guards to stop.
The guards halted immediately and released their hold on her.
Gianna stumbled forward, gasping.
She moved hurriedly toward him and clasped his leg.
“Lydia and Erica are planning to take everything from you.
They will take over the company, the family estate-everything that belongs to you!” Dylan’s sharp gaze sliced into her.
“So, you were part of their conspiracy too?” he sneered.
“You claimed to love me.
You wanted to marry me.
But in reality, you were just another traitor.” Gianna shook her head frantically.
“No.
That’s not true.
I was never part of their plan to deceive you!
I-I begged them to spare you, not to hurt you!” “How absurd,” he scoffed, pushing her away.
“You were Erica’s shadow.
And now you expect me to believe that you weren’t involved?” Gianna’s shoulders slumped.
A deep, shattering regret settled in her chest.
She had been a fool to trust Erica.
Tears welled in her eyes.
“I know I made mistakes.
I hurt you.
I broke your trust.
And I know you won’t ever forgive me.
But what I said is the truth.” She lifted her tear-streaked face to meet his gaze.
“They have been plotting against you for years-since the day your parents died.” Dylan’s entire body tensed.
“Erica did something to your father’s car,” Gianna said, recalling the past.
“That’s why it wouldn’t start.
That’s why they had to take Thomas’s car instead.” “What did you say?” Dylan exclaimed, his voice rising.
“Erica tampered with my father’s car!
Why?” A whirlwind of questions flooded his mind.
“I don’t know what she did exactly,” Gianna said, “but I heard Lydia scolding her.
I couldn’t hear everything clearly, but it was clear Erica did something with his car.”
