My Ex-Husband Begged Me to Take Him Back - Chapter 347
Chapter 347: The finale
Ava let out a small, conflicted sigh. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust them—Nicholas and Myra were like second parents to Aliyah—but the idea of being away from her baby, even for a few days, unsettled her.
Dylan squeezed her hands. “I promise, if she needs us, we’ll be back in an instant.”
Ava looked at him for a long moment, searching his eyes. Finally, she nodded. “…Alright.”
Dylan smiled, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “That’s my girl.”
Ava still felt a pang of hesitation, but as she looked at Dylan—his warm gaze, the unspoken love in his eyes—she realized how much she had missed having time alone with him. Maybe this wasn’t such a bad idea after all.
She took a deep breath and smiled. “Okay. Let’s do it.”

Their first day in Hawaii was spent indulging in every bit of paradise. They walked hand-in-hand along the shoreline, the waves kissing their feet as they talked and laughed freely—without responsibilities, without interruptions.
They went snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, Dylan pulling her into his arms every time she got distracted by the vibrant fish, teasing her.
Later, they rode a private boat, sipping on cocktails while watching the sun dip beneath the horizon. Ava leaned against Dylan, her fingers intertwined with his. “This feels unreal,” she whispered.
Dylan kissed the top of her head. “It’s real. And it’s ours.”
The Hotel Room…
By the time they entered their luxurious hotel suite, it was almost dark. The atmosphere between them had shifted. Gone was the playfulness of the day, replaced by a slow-burning desire that had been simmering beneath the surface for far too long.
Dylan shut the door behind them, his gaze locking onto Ava with a deep intensity. He stepped toward her slowly, deliberately.
Ava’s breath hitched as he closed the distance between them. “Dylan,” she called out. “What is on your mind?
Dylan smirked, reaching out to slide his fingers along her bare arms, sending shivers through her body. “No interruptions. No distractions. What do you think I want?”
His voice was low, husky, and it sent a delicious warmth coursing through her. She barely had time to respond before his lips crashed against hers—hungry, demanding, filled with longing. Ava melted into him, her fingers tangling in his hair as he deepened the kiss.
Dylan lifted her effortlessly, carrying her toward the bed. Ava gasped, her arms instinctively wrapping around his neck as he laid her down against the soft sheets. He hovered over her, his eyes dark with passion. “I’ve missed this,” he admitted, his fingers tracing the curve of her waist. “I’ve missed you. I want you now.”
Ava’s heart pounded as she cupped his face, her thumb grazing his cheek. “Then what are you waiting for?” she whispered.
With a groan, he claimed her lips yet again.
Just as Dylan deepened the kiss, Ava’s phone chimed, vibrating insistently on the nightstand. She let out a soft groan, torn between ignoring it and answering. She finally pushed him aside.
“I need to check the phone,” she insisted.
Dylan let out an exasperated sigh. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
Ava giggled breathlessly, placing a hand on his chest. “It might be about our baby,” she said, already reaching for the phone.
It was a video call from Myra. Adjusting her dress, Ava sat up and leaned back against the headboard as she swiped to answer the call. “Myra? Is everything okay? Is she giving you a tough time?”
Myra’s laughter rang through the phone. “Oh, relax, Mama Bear. Your little angel has been having the time of her life. We took her shopping, and let’s just say Nicholas went overboard with the toys. She was bouncing with excitement the whole time until she finally crashed. She is sleeping now. Let me show you.”
The camera flipped and Aliyah was sleeping peacefully, cuddling her favorite soft toy filled the screen. Seeing her daughter, Ava’s eyes turned watery.
“He loves to spoil Aliyah,” Myra said, amusement in her voice. “I think he is already planning his next shopping spree.”
Dylan, who had been lying beside Ava, rolled his eyes. “Of course he is,” he muttered.
Ava chuckled, blinking her tears away. But before she could say anything else, Myra’s voice dropped to an excited whisper. “But that is not the only news I have.”

Ava frowned slightly. “What do you mean?”
Myra giggled, and then the camera flipped, showing her left hand—with a diamond ring sparkling on her finger.
Myra squealed, “Nicholas finally proposed! We’re getting married!”
Ava’s heart swelled with joy. “Oh, Myra, that’s amazing! Congratulations!”
Myra laughed. “You should’ve seen him—he was so nervous, but it was perfect.”
Ava could hear the happiness in Myra’s voice, and it made her emotional. “I’m so happy for you both,” she said sincerely. “You two deserve all the happiness in the world.”
“Thank you, Ava,” Myra said softly. “And don’t worry about your little girl. We’ve got everything under control. You and Dylan enjoy your honeymoon.”
Ava glanced at Dylan, who was watching her with a mix of amusement and impatience. She smiled. “Alright, but keep me updated.”
“Will do. Now go back to whatever you were doing,” Myra teased before hanging up.
Ava set the phone down and turned to Dylan, who raised an eyebrow.
“Well?” he drawled.
“Isn’t it amazing? Nicholas finally proposed to Myra! They’re getting married!”
Dylan, however, barely reacted. He gave a small nod, his expression unreadable, but his gaze never left her face—intense, dark, and filled with urgency.
“Isn’t it amazing? Nicholas finally proposed to Myra! They’re getting married!”
Dylan, however, barely reacted. He gave a small nod, his expression unreadable, but his gaze never left her face—intense, dark, and filled with something far more urgent than thoughts of proposals.
“That’s great,” he murmured, his voice husky. “I’m happy for them.”
But before Ava could respond, Dylan suddenly pressed her down onto the bed, his body covering hers with undeniable intent. His hands slid over her waist, his fingers tracing her curves that sent heat rushing through her veins.
“Dylan—” she started, but the words died in her throat when his lips crashed against hers, swallowing any further conversation.
His kiss was deep, hungry, adding to the fire burning between them. Ava felt herself melting beneath him, surrendering to the passion she had missed so much.
Dylan pulled back slightly and whispered, “Let’s have another baby.”
His lips trailed along her jawline, down to her neck, as he murmured against her skin, “I want to see you carrying our child again… feel you growing round with our love.” His voice was thick with desire, his hands possessively tracing over her stomach.
She gasped as he deepened his kisses, his body pressing firmly against hers, leaving no space between them.
Dylan’s lips trailing lower to her collarbone. “I’ve been thinking about it long before we got here.” He met her gaze, his eyes dark and serious. “Say yes, Ava.”
Ava shivered at his words, a deep blush creeping up her cheeks. The way he said it, the way he claimed her with every touch, every kiss, made her dizzy. And as his lips captured hers once again, she knew there was no resisting him.
With a soft, breathless laugh, she whispered, “Yes. Let’s do it.”
The end…
