Chapter 517: Starting a Training Session – Part 3
Leon sat cross-legged on the ground, his palms clasped together.
His upper robe had been removed, exposing his well-defined muscles.
“Get ready. I’m starting now,” the dragon ancestor said seriously.
“Alright! Don’t worry, I’m always ready,” Leon replied solemnly.
Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath and relaxed his slightly tense body. He wasn’t sure what to expect when all fifty muscle points in his body were unlocked.
It would probably be painful—he had to be prepared.
The dragon ancestor stepped closer and placed his palm on Leon’s head.
*Whoosh!*
Suddenly, a dazzling reddish-black light burst from Leon’s body.
A few seconds later, searing pain tore through him.
“Argh!” Leon groaned but quickly bit down, forcing himself to endure. “Damn! This is worse than yesterday!”
If Miranda’s sealing of his holy and chaos power had only targeted specific points in his body, this time, the pain tore through every nerve!
His muscles seized as if they were being crushed under immense pressure. His bones felt like they were being hammered by solid iron!
The agony was maddening.
“Endure! Endure! I can’t give up!” Leon screamed in his mind, forcing himself to withstand the pain.
If he gave in, he would lose consciousness from the unbearable pain. And if that happened, the unlocking of his fifty muscle points would fail!
Seeing Leon’s agonized state, the dragon ancestor hurriedly warned, “Endure it, Fated One! The pain will pass soon! If you succeed, you will ascend to a higher level!”
But his words barely registered.
The pain was so overwhelming that Leon’s senses dulled—his hearing faded, and even his sense of smell weakened.
“I… I…” He muttered weakly, his vision blurred as if he were on the verge of losing consciousness.
*Srrt!*
Suddenly, Leon bit his tongue. A sharp sting shot straight to his brain, jolting him back from the edge of darkness.
At that moment, the searing pain that had gripped his body began to fade, then disappeared entirely.
“Hah… Hah… Hah…” Leon gasped, his breaths ragged and heavy.
Cold and hot sweat drenched his back, neck, and entire body, making it look as if he had just been doused with a bucket of water.
“Well done! Your will and spirit are truly as strong as steel. You endured even that immense pain,” the dragon ancestor praised sincerely. “Now, all fifty of your muscle points have fully opened. You should feel the difference.”
Leon took a deep breath to steady himself, then clenched his fists.
“This…” His eyes widened in disbelief. His strength had nearly doubled!
Not only that, but the soreness and fatigue from running a thousand laps yesterday had completely vanished.
It was truly incredible!

“With the opening of fifty muscle points within you, your strength will double. However, that is not your limit,” the dragon ancestor explained, folding his arms across his chest. “As I mentioned before, unlocking these muscle points is meant to awaken your full potential. This means your body can grow even stronger as you continue to train.”
“Does that mean… I can keep getting stronger without limit?” Leon swallowed hard, a mix of awe and disbelief washing over him.
“In a broad sense, yes.” The dragon ancestor nodded.
Leon took a deep breath, pressing a hand to his chest to steady his racing heart.
“That’s insane…”
The idea of limitless growth had always seemed impossible—or at least, that’s what he had believed.
A living being’s body had limits and flaws. It was only natural to assume there was a ceiling to one’s strength.
Yet, with the unlocking of his fifty muscle points, that belief had been shattered entirely.
“However, the path won’t be easy. You must train harder—relentlessly—if you want to push your body’s potential to its peak.”
The dragon ancestor’s words pulled Leon from his thoughts.
“I see,” he murmured, exhaling softly.
He had expected as much. Strengthening the body required intense training—something everyone understood as common sense.
“Now, rise. I will guide you through the next stage of training,” the dragon ancestor commanded.
Leon didn’t hesitate. He stood up immediately.
And with that, his grueling, hellish training officially began.

“Come on! Run, Fated One! Your target is still far ahead!” the dragon ancestor shouted, watching Leon struggle uphill with a hundred-kilogram boulder strapped to his back.
“Damn… this training is insane!” Leon cursed inwardly, gasping for breath.
Thick blue veins bulged on his forehead and neck as sweat streamed down his bare chest.
His legs trembled under the crushing weight, each step feeling heavier than the last.
“There’s still a kilometer left… I don’t know if I can make it,” he muttered through gritted teeth.
But the thought of growing stronger pushed him forward. Clenching his jaw, he forced himself to keep moving.
The Next Day…
“Keep going! If you slow down, you’ll sink!” The dragon ancestor bellowed, eyes fixed on Leon, who was struggling against the raging river’s current.
Strapped to his back were two massive stones, each weighing a hundred kilograms.
*Bluupp… Bluuppp…*
Leon wanted to complain, but every time he opened his mouth, water rushed in, choking off his words.
Two days later…
“This time, your training is combat. Attack me with everything you’ve got, and I’ll hold back while guiding you,” the dragon ancestor said seriously.
Leon rolled his wrist and nodded. “Alright!”
Without hesitation, he lunged forward, aiming a punch straight at the dragon ancestor’s chest.
Before, when both his powers weren’t sealed, his reflexes had been sharp—fast enough to put even the dragon ancestor on edge.
However, with his current physical condition, the punch appeared sluggish and feeble in his eyes.
*Plak!*
The strike was effortlessly blocked with a single palm.
“So weak! Try again!” The dragon ancestor bellowed, his voice igniting Leon’s fighting spirit.
Leon shifted his weight and spun into a tornado kick, aiming for the dragon ancestor’s side.
But once again, the attack was easily deflected with just the back of his palm.
“Stronger… but still not enough!”
And so, one grueling session after another—each more intense than the last—pushed Leon to his limits…
