Chapter 595: The Waking Fairy Queen
Upon hearing those words, Syra, Sia, Elisa, and Elina were stunned. They looked at Leon with a mix of doubt and anticipation.
“Is everything really over, Fated One?” Elisa asked, swallowing hard as she glanced at her still-unconscious mother. “Has Mother been cured?”
Though she trusted Leon wouldn’t lie to her, a trace of doubt still lingered—one she couldn’t easily shake.
Syra and Sia said nothing, but their expressions mirrored Elisa’s uncertainty.
“Yes, she’s cured. I assure you of that,” Leon replied calmly with a nod.
He wasn’t upset by their doubts or hesitation.
From Elisa’s reaction earlier, he could tell how deeply she loved her mother. It was only natural for her to respond this way.
Leon’s words made Syra and Sia breathe a sigh of relief. They knew he wasn’t the kind of person to speak without certainty.
After all, he was the Fated One—his power had already been proven before their very eyes.
Their reaction was natural and instinctive—it wasn’t that they didn’t believe him.
At that moment, the Fairy Queen’s once motionless body began to stir.
It started with a faint twitch of her fingers, then slowly spread to her feet, hands, head, and finally her entire body.
They all noticed it—and their expressions lit up with joy and hope.
The Fairy Queen’s eyelids trembled slightly before slowly opening. Her red eyes stared blankly at the ceiling.
“Ugh…” A groan of pain escaped her lips as she tried to sit up but couldn’t.
Syra, Sia, and Elisa moved to help, but Leon was quicker—he gently supported her back with his hands.
“Please rest, Your Majesty. Don’t try to sit up just yet. You’ve only just been healed, and your body is still recovering,” Leon said, his voice calm and soothing.
The Fairy Queen frowned and looked up at him. Her eyes widened slightly as she murmured in surprise, “What a handsome man…”
Syra: “…”
Sia: “…”
Elisa: “…”
Elina: “…”
None of them expected that to be her first reaction upon waking.
Admittedly, Leon was handsome—but still… could she not hold back a little?
That was what they all thought, but no one dared to say it out loud.
Leon let out a quiet chuckle, then gently laid the Fairy Queen’s slender back against the bed.
“Is Your Majesty feeling any discomfort?”
The Fairy Queen attempted to move, but pain and soreness flared through her joints.
A soft hiss escaped her lips, and she quickly stopped moving.
“I’m fine… but I feel a sharp pain in all my bones,” she said weakly. “Actually… who are you? And what happened to me?”

Just as Leon was about to respond, Sia stepped forward and quickly interrupted.
“Your Majesty, you’ve been in a coma for several hours. Do you remember what happened before that?”
The Fairy Queen turned to Sia, and relief slowly spread across her face.
“Sia…” she whispered. “I’m sorry, Sia. I don’t remember anything.”
She paused briefly before continuing, “The last thing I recall is heading toward the blue spring on the east side of the World Tree. Then… all of a sudden, I fainted. Afterward, I was surrounded by darkness.”
As if expecting that answer, Sia didn’t seem surprised.
“Your Majesty, your body was exposed to the dark power of the Evil God who had corrupted the World Tree,” she explained gently. “That’s why you fell into a coma for so many hours.”
The Fairy Queen’s expression froze for a moment before softening.
“So… it’s all because of that dark power,” she said with a trace of regret. “I didn’t expect it to be this serious.”
As the Fairy Queen, she was well aware of the dark forces slowly consuming the World Tree.
The Elf Queen, Zelda, had even warned her to stay away and be cautious.
But at the time, she hadn’t taken it seriously—thinking that as long as she was careful, she’d be safe.
She never imagined the consequences would be this severe. To have been in a coma for hours without even knowing… it terrified her.
“Mother!” Elisa burst into tears and threw her arms around her mother, unable to hold back any longer.
The hug made the Fairy Queen groan softly in pain, but she said nothing and let it be.
“I’m sorry I made you worry, Elisa,” she said gently, brushing her daughter’s head with a loving hand.
Elisa breathed in the comforting scent of her mother and shook her head slowly.
“It’s okay, Mother. I understand. I’m the one who should apologize… for being selfish and careless.”
Tears streamed down her cheeks as she looked at her mother, still lying weakly before her.
The Fairy Queen couldn’t help but smile.
“At last, this foolish daughter of mine is starting to grow up,” she murmured with relief.
She had always worried about Elisa’s childish nature. One day, the throne would belong to her daughter. If Elisa didn’t mature soon, how could she entrust such a great responsibility with peace of mind?
Once Elisa had calmed down, the Fairy Queen turned her gaze to Syra, who stood silently nearby, her expression filled with guilt.
“What’s wrong, Syra? Why do you look like that?” she asked, puzzled.
Syra didn’t respond right away. After a brief pause, she sighed softly.
“I’m sorry, Your Majesty. I feel like I failed as a healer. When you were in critical condition… I couldn’t do anything.”
Although grateful for Leon’s help, a growing sense of disappointment and frustration brewed within her.
It wasn’t aimed at Leon, of course, but at herself. She had healing powers, yet when the one she respected most lay weakened, she had been powerless.
For Syra, this incident felt like a harsh blow to her pride.
She began to doubt whether she truly deserved the title of ‘the greatest healer of the fairy race.’
The Fairy Queen, though initially surprised, quickly understood Syra’s feelings.
With a weak smile, she shook her head gently. “You don’t need to worry about that, Syra. I know you did everything in your power to save me. That alone is enough to prove that you are indeed the greatest healer among our people.”
Her words were like a beacon of light in the darkness. Syra bit her lower lip, tears welling up in her eyes.
“Thank you for your trust, Your Majesty…” she whispered, looking down as she sobbed quietly.
The Fairy Queen smiled warmly and then turned to Elisa.
“It seems that after disappearing for a year, you’ve become healthier and more mature, Princess Elina. Did your sister not punish you?”
Elina gave an embarrassed smile, scratching her cheek. “Hehehe… My sister scolded and punished me, Your Majesty. But she’s already forgiven me.”
“Pfft! That sounds just like Zelda,” the Fairy Queen chuckled softly.
Her gaze then shifted back to Leon, still standing by her side. She studied him from head to toe, closed her eyes for a brief moment, and then bowed her head slightly.
“The thirty-fifth Fairy Queen, Aurora Elowenith, pays her respects to the Fated One.”
