Chapter 596: The Fairy Queen’s Request
When the Fairy Queen suddenly recognized his identity, Leon wasn’t surprised in the slightest. He remained calm and composed, just as usual.

Given her status as the Elf Queen, it would’ve been strange if she hadn’t recognized him.

After all, Leon had been in Elf territory for a week, and Zelda had almost certainly informed her of his arrival.

As for why she didn’t recognize him immediately, that was only natural. She had just woken from a coma—her mind was likely still foggy and unable to process things clearly.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Leon offered a gentle smile and gave a slight shake of his head.

“There’s no need to be so formal, Your Majesty,” he said calmly. “And you don’t have to call me ‘The Fated One.’ Just use my name.”

His words caught Aurora off guard, but she quickly returned his smile, her expression warm and relaxed.

“It seems Zelda was right—you really are a humble and approachable man, Fated One… I mean, Leon.” She chuckled softly.

Leon smiled, about to reply, but Aurora quickly cut him off.

“And don’t call me ‘Your Majesty.’ That wouldn’t be fair now, would it?”

Though she still appeared weak, a playful glint sparkled in her eyes, causing the corner of Leon’s mouth to twitch slightly.

“Ahem! Well then, Aurora,” Leon said, clearing his throat. “Since you’ve already recovered, Elina and I won’t trouble you any further. We’ll return to the Emerald Palace immediately.”

Originally, his purpose in coming to the territory of the Fairy Race was to meet Aurora. However, he hadn’t expected something like this to happen to her.

Although she was now conscious and appeared healed, Leon knew better than anyone the true state of her body.

The dark power of the Evil God had indeed been removed, but that didn’t mean her wounds were gone.

Years of erosion had left her body severely damaged.

It would take several days for her to fully recover.

Aurora’s brows furrowed slightly at Leon’s words.

She shook her head gently and said firmly, “How could I possibly let you and Elina leave so easily? You saved my life. It would be cruel of me to drive you away.”

Leon remained silent at her response. He was well aware that Aurora understood the deeper meaning behind his words—and had deliberately chosen the phrase “drive you away” to reject his offer.

After all, the wording was harsh enough that if he continued to insist on leaving, it could be interpreted as a personal insult.

Before he could say anything more, Syra and Sia stepped forward and echoed Aurora’s sentiment.

“Her Majesty is right, Fated One. Please stay in our palace for at least one more day,” Syra said.

“Yes, Fated One,” Sia added. “Allow us to show our gratitude for your help. Besides, Her Majesty’s condition hasn’t fully stabilized. If you leave now and her condition worsens, wouldn’t that be far too dangerous?”

Elisha, who had been silent until now, smiled and added, “Don’t worry too much, Fated One. Your presence isn’t a burden to us—in fact, it’s a blessing. So please, grant our wish, okay?”

Faced with everyone’s persuasion, Leon finally gave in.

“Alright…” He sighed softly. “But what if Zelda comes looking for Elina and me? Do you have a way to contact her?”

Aurora chuckled and gave a small nod. “That’s a minor issue. You don’t need to worry about it.”

Since Aurora had said so, Leon didn’t press further.

He turned to Elina and asked, “You don’t mind staying in this palace for a day, do you?”

“Of course not! I’ve actually always wanted to stay in this palace!” She replied cheerfully, unable to hide her excitement.

Leon smiled and nodded casually. “In that case, we’ll stay here today and head back tomorrow.”

“Great!” Elisha exclaimed, jumping with joy.

Truthfully, she didn’t want Leon to leave so soon. Ever since she witnessed his holy power and chaos power, her admiration for him had grown immensely.

She wanted to learn more—about his powers, his personality, and everything else about the legendary figure now standing before her.

Aurora glanced at her daughter with a helpless expression.

“This girl has finally found something that excites her. But… let’s just hope she doesn’t fall for the Fated One. If that happens…”

Her words trailed off, and a wry smile appeared on her face.

Although she hadn’t known Leon for long, Aurora could tell he was no ordinary man.

It wasn’t far-fetched to think that he had beautiful wives and powerful people by his side.

And if her daughter were to fall in love with him only to be rejected, Aurora feared Elisa’s heart wouldn’t be able to handle it.

“I can only hope… her fate doesn’t turn out that way.” There was a flicker of loneliness and sorrow in her gaze, emotions she quickly masked.

“By the way, I just remembered,” Leon said, glancing at his own body. “My current size will only last for three hours. An hour has already passed since I changed, so that leaves me with two hours before I return to my original size. Aurora, do you have a way to extend this?”

“Of course,” Aurora replied with a small smile.

*Snap!*

She snapped her fingers, and a bright golden light enveloped Leon and Elina.

Moments later, the light slowly faded.

“I’ve extended the effect for one more day. It will wear off tomorrow, and you’ll return to your normal size then,” Aurora said softly.

Leon smiled and nodded. “Thank you…”

***

Once the decision was made, Leon and Elina finally chose to settle in the fairy palace.

Given their special status, both received luxurious treatment from the fairies.

Each was provided with a spacious and beautifully decorated room, ensuring a restful and relaxing sleep.

Meanwhile, after the dark power was removed from the Fairy Queen’s body, her condition began to improve gradually.

Initially, Leon estimated that her physical recovery would take around three to five days.

However, what he didn’t expect was that just two hours after the dark power was purged, the Fairy Queen was already able to get out of bed and walk slowly.

Leon couldn’t help but sigh as he whispered, “As expected of the queen of a race… truly powerful and extraordinary.”

In his room, Leon lay lazily on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

To be honest, he still found it a bit hard to believe that his dealings with the fairy race had gone this smoothly—and all because the Fairy Queen had fallen into a coma.

“I don’t know if that was a blessing or not, but it’s the reason I was able to build a good relationship with them,” he murmured with a faint chuckle.

Just then, there was a knock at the door, followed by Syra’s soft, calm voice.

“Fated One, I apologize for disturbing your rest. I’ve come with orders for you to appear before Her Majesty immediately.”
