My Love Debts Are Everywhere! - Chapter 635
Chapter 635: A Test for the Future
“What are you saying, Fiona? How did you come to that conclusion?” Charlotte asked, looking dumbfounded.
“Eh?” Fiona blinked and tilted her head innocently. “Isn’t it true?”
Charlotte, Iris, and Stella fell silent. Although Fiona’s words sounded exaggerated, they made sense.
They were still children, but their thinking was far more mature than most kids their age.
From what their mother had told them, they knew their father was well-liked by many women.
Well, considering how great and handsome he was, it wasn’t too surprising.
They were beginning to suspect that the Saint of Holy Orthodoxy might have a special connection to their father.
“If I’m not mistaken, the Saint of Holy Orthodoxy, Saint Arshley, does have a special relationship with His Majesty,” Lyra said suddenly, startling the four.
“A special relationship!?” Charlotte, Iris, and Stella gasped in shock.
“Do you know what kind of relationship it is, Lyra?” Iris asked, curious.
“Hm…” Lyra rubbed her chin thoughtfully before answering. “They’re childhood friends. His Majesty Leon and Saint Arshley have known each other since they were young. They grew up together, and Her Majesty Liliana also said that it was His Majesty Leon who took care of Saint Arshley when they were children.”
“Wow!” Charlotte’s eyes sparkled. “Daddy’s story sounds just like a fairy tale! It’s amazing!”
“I’ve read fairy tales like that too,” Stella chuckled. “I can’t believe it really happened to Uncle Leon.”
“Since Saint Arshley and Daddy are childhood friends, we should think of her as an aunt, not a mother,” Iris said casually.
She turned to Fiona and pinched her cheek. “You understand, right?”
Tears welled up in Fiona’s round eyes from the pinch.
“I understand, Sister,” she replied softly, her voice tinged with sadness.
Iris smiled and gently patted her head. “Good.”
Just as they were lost in conversation, something unexpected happened.
*Thud! Thud! Thud!*
A heavy crashing sound echoed from underground, startling them all.
Before they could react, a tremor shook the ground beneath their feet. It started faintly but quickly grew stronger until the entire area trembled violently.
“Earthquake!” Stella shouted in panic and quickly stood up.
Charlotte, Iris, Fiona, and Lyra also rose hurriedly, gathering close to avoid getting separated.
“Young ladies, let’s head to the palace garden. It’s safer there,” Lyra said seriously, standing guard in front of them, alert for any attack or danger.
Charlotte, Iris, and Stella nodded and prepared to move—but Fiona stayed rooted in place, not following them.
“Fiona, what are you doing? Let’s go!” Charlotte cried, grabbing her hand, but Fiona didn’t budge.
Fiona stood like a statue, her face blank, eyes fixed on something far away—to the southeast.
“He has risen,” she murmured flatly.
Charlotte’s eyes widened.

“He? Who are you talking about?” She asked urgently, but Fiona remained silent.
Charlotte glanced at Lyra and her sisters, fear creeping across her face.
“What should we do?”
The earthquake continued, and if they didn’t leave soon, falling debris or trees could crush them.
But they couldn’t just leave Fiona behind—she was the sister they cared for the most.
“Leave it to me, Young Lady Charlotte,” Lyra said firmly.
She reached out to pull Fiona’s hand—but suddenly, holy power burst from the little girl’s body.
Lyra was thrown backward, crashing hard against a tree.
“Lyra!” Charlotte, Iris, and Stella shouted in panic.
*Buzz!*
A glowing symbol appeared on Fiona’s forehead—the Hero’s Destiny. Her golden eyes shone brightly with a dazzling white light.
But then, unexpectedly, gray chains materialized from the air, wrapping tightly around Fiona’s small body.
In an instant, her holy power, the Hero’s Destiny symbol, and the light in her eyes vanished, as if they had never existed.
“Ugh…” Fiona groaned softly before collapsing unconscious.
…
The Desert of Chaos…
A white-haired, middle-aged man sat atop a boulder. Despite his age, his face was remarkably youthful—like that of a man in his twenties.
His short white hair fluttered in the scorching desert wind.
A blindfold covered both eyes, marking his blindness.
If Leon saw him now, he would be stunned—this was the man who always appeared whenever he was in danger.
At that moment, the man calmly sipped his tea, a faint smile resting on his lips as he faced the distant horizon.
“It seems the time has finally come,” he murmured.
He gently set the cup onto the saucer in his hand and released a long, quiet sigh.
“Everything is going according to plan. But whether this problem can be solved… that depends on you, Leon Kruger.”
He looked up at the clear sky and continued, “This is your first trial—the real one. If you can overcome it, then you are truly worthy of being called the Fated One. And everything I’ve done so far will not have been in vain.”
*Crrk!*
Suddenly, the sand beneath him began to tremble violently.
The tremor didn’t stop there—it rippled across the entire Desert of Chaos, as if some colossal, ancient monster was about to awaken.
The man’s smile faded. He lowered his gaze, then calmly raised his right forefinger.
“It’s not your time to rise, fool.”
*Whoosh!*
He released a gray ball of light from his fingertip, sending it hurtling toward the ground.
It stopped just five centimeters above the surface—then erupted in a blinding flash of light.
In the next instant, a massive black-and-gold ink-like line etched itself across the surface of the Desert of Chaos.
It stretched for thousands of kilometers, and the quake came to an abrupt halt.
…
“Damn it! Who interfered with my link to the main body!?”
The Evil God’s consciousness let out a furious roar. His pitch-black eyes swept across the Forest of Eternal Silence—now reduced to a barren sea of white sand.
Corpses littered the ground, all belonging to Elven and Dark Elven soldiers.
He clenched his teeth in rage and shut his eyes, attempting to reconnect—but failed.
A powerful, unknown force was blocking him. He could feel its immense power and terrifying presence. It filled him with rage—but left him helpless.
“Who did this?” He muttered under his breath, eyes opening slowly.
Whoever it was, their strength rivaled that of a god. But in this world, only his true body held divinity. No other god should have been able to descend here.
“This doesn’t make sense. I’ll have to look into it later… If left unchecked, this could become a serious threat,” he murmured grimly.
Then, he turned to Guren, who stood frozen beside him.
“Guren, let’s go. Help me tear this world apart,” he said coldly.
Guren snapped out of his trance. He took a deep breath and straightened his posture before replying, “As you wish, Evil God.”
“Good. Then—”
Before he could finish, a streak of light surged toward him.
*Boom!*
A powerful attack struck, but he caught it effortlessly in his right hand.
Turning his head, he held a white sword that trembled in his grasp. Its owner was a man whose eyes burned with deadly intent—Leon.
